Perfect location directly on the lake. Easy walking distance to the main town and other restaurants. The staff were happy to accommodate requests. We particularly appreciated the breakfast sandwiches they prepared for us the night before we had a very early departure the next morning. We noticed other reviews about the parking before we arrived, but honestly, it was fine. Just ask for the key at the front restaurant when you first arrive - it’s easy. The breakfasts are good quality. Lovely place to stay.

Nothing much. We were happy. Just be aware that it’s a 15 min walk to the nearest free swimming area on the lake (same as any other hotel in the main Bled town). There are closer paid areas.

The hotel is located perfectly close to the lake. We had a very nice view from the room. Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Spent Christmas eve running after and killing bugs in our room. Size of keychain was huge, it was a bit challenging to open the door.

We stayed here before in 2018 and came back for a few nights because of the great memories of this place. Location is a 10 out of 10! Rooms are large, very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, there’s no comparable restaurant at the lake. There’s live music in the evenings. The views are amazing, right on the promenade and lake side and beneath the castle. Free sheltered parking. We recommend staying here.

Prices are relatively high. Although dinner was excellent, two evenings in a row plates for our table came in three stages, the last plate when the rest had finished dinner. Requests like reserving a table were typically not answered with an immediate yes which did not give us the feeling of cordial hospitality.

It is bang on the lake side. Very old property. Maintained perfectly. The necessary facilities were available. Bed was comfortable. The property is very much similar to as advertised in the photos. The lake is just outside the door. We had a small balcony with lake view. Loved it. The breakfast was hale and hearty. Not predefined breakfast items but order any thing any number of times from the menu. We had a pesto sandwich. It was done nicely. The staff was very polite and supportive. There is a restaurant called Spica just towards the left of the hotel. Serves excellent dinner with drinks. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were polite and respectful towards Indians.

Essentially amenities that could have been given in winters like body lotion or moisturiser and hair conditioner were not available. Didn’t know if they were made available if only asked. The heating seemed to be a bit less efficient. It was -5/-6 outside. Inside was just comfortable. Could have been more cozy.

The location was perfect with breathtaking views. What’s not to love about a waterfront hotel? It’s also very nice to be able to walk around the lake from here as well as hike up to the castle (you can also drive, if you wish). The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Parking was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for an authentic Slovenian meal, go to Gostilna Kurej, in the countryside a short drive away. Very tasty food and excellent service!

The room was much smaller than we were lead to believe. We realize rooms are smaller in Europe, but this one was the smallest we had come across. We travel with carry on luggage only - and we barely had room for them. The chair and desk were so close to the bed that you could not pull the chair out. Not enough plugs for devices and the hairdryer didn’t work. I guess you’re paying for the location. Those are minor complaints compared to the smell in the hallway. It was awful and very strong. At first, we wondered if it was some kind of cleaning product, but soon realized it was the essential oil diffuser on the entry table. It was too strong for anyone with a sensitivity to scents. It made my eyes water and gave me a headache. Something to be aware of if you are sensitive or allergic.

Stunning location! Amazing view from the family room, which was a two-room suite. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Relaxing, table-served breakfast each morning with good options. The restaurant was always busy, but we were never disturbed with any noise in the evening. Just a 2 minute walk to the main swimming area of the lake then 2-5 minute walk in the other direction to a number of different restaurants.

There was nothing we disliked. I would recommend this hotel to everyone (although I definitely think we had the best room! 😊)

My wife and I spent two wonderful days in Bled and its surroundings. The friendly staff at Vila Prešeren upgraded our reservation to the Prešeren room, complete with a beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Bled. We enjoyed an excellent and plentiful breakfast, as well as convenient parking right by the villa's entrance. The villa itself, with its location and the charm of the well-maintained historic building, added a magical touch to our getaway. To stay active and enjoy the fresh air, we took a cross-country skiing course on Pokljuka. We highly recommend it!

Very nice pension on Lake Bled. We had a ground floor private suite with balcony which was very large and comfortable. It was rainy when we were there so breakfast was indoors, ordered from a menu. We had their take on an English breakfast, which was eggs, bacon and beans - no tomatoes or mushrooms. Parking was provided out back which was very nice to have. The restaurant was quite busy the whole time and their bakery items looked great, although we did not partake.

Great communication prior to our visit, however, check-in was disjointed and confusing. Restaurant staff check you in through the restaurant and they often did not know who was in charge. We waited quite a long time to find out our room was not ready yet and when we returned, we waited for the right person again to get the key to our room. Check out was similar with needing to find the correct person to return the key to.

This is a nice old mansion on the lakefront converted to a hotel restaurant (I think). Location is excellent. The property was remodeled maybe 15 years ago and could use a little updating. We had a lakeview room that was perfect. Breakfast was good in the restaurant downstairs.

The room had carpet which is no longer in style. The windows are old style, probably to maintain historic character, the room door needs adjustment, minor deferred maintenance in bathroom.

Two huge big rooms [bedroom & lounge area ] with a large balcony overlooking the gorgeous lake!! We were so enchanted that we just had to open a bottle of Prosecco & sit on the balcony & watch the sun set! It was very beautifully decorated, clean with very comfy beds [second bed set up in the lounge] with a large clean, stylish bathroom! All members of staff we encountered were super friendly & helpful & even a sudden unexpected downpour couldn't dampen our stay! We enjoyed a lovely meal on the terrace downstairs & the following morning a delicious cooked breakfast was available as part of the package! This property is right on the lakefront & was quiet & peaceful!
