The social hub is a fantastic hotel to stay in and I would highly recommend it,everytime you pass through reception you are greeted with a warm welcome and no matter what the question they were always answered in a really helpful and friendly way,staff were brilliant.The room was spotless and cozy and the food delicious .Overall the hotel has amazing facilities,it is in a nice quiet street,2 minutes from the Japanese gardens and the airport bus dropped you 5 minutes from the hotel.The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the centre or the hotel offer bike hire. Already looking forward to staying again.

Nothing,everything was brilliant.

The breakfast was very nice. I was afraid they weren't going to have a lot of vegan options but they did. For example they had soy yogurt, plant based butter, plant based sausages and two different plant milks. Most of the vegetables, sauces etc was vegan too. If you want to buy dinner they have vegan nuggets :) The place was truly exceptional, better than the pictures are showing. They have a lot of spaces where you can hang out, such as places for students to study, different outdoor spaces, spaces to play pool and ping pong and even a cinema. They also have an amazing gym and laundry room. There was nothing I didn't like!

I wished they had the yoga and brunch during the time I was there.

The design of the rooms and the hotel, friendly and helpful staff, tea/coffee included, good facilities.

I was really disappointed that the smart TV functionality had been disabled. I asked a member of staff about this. The TV channel selection is particularly poor for English speakers. The hotel advertises itself as modern and targets younger people. The decision to disable the smart TV functionality is not aligned to this brand image, as younger people expect and greatly appreciate smart TVs. For this reason, we didn't want to spend much time in the room. Also, the lighting in the room is frustrating - too many different switches that are slow to operate and the lights aren't bright enough. The heating wasn't that effective either. I woke up with back pain after sleeping in the bed - not very comfortable.

The room was big enough and clean. Staffs are good and welcoming.

The hotel is connected to a student rental complex, and guests share common areas such as the pool, lobby, and gym with the residents. One night, we were disturbed by loud shouting from students downstairs whose in front of the entry(our room just above the main entry), which could be challenging for travelers seeking a relaxing stay. From a safety perspective, I also feel concerned — since the property hosts a mix of guests and long-term student residents, it may not be the most secure environment for young people. If the guests could have separated buildings, would be more reassuring for the students. Additionally, during one night of our stay, there was no hot water. I’m not sure if this was due to the number of rooms, but it did impact our experience.

The outside space was amazing. We were there with our 3 adult children & everyone had space to relax. There was also an outside dining area in the shade which made it perfect to eat there no matter the weather. Also the hosts, Nicolas (& Maude) were very friendly & approachable, always there to help & give advice. The house was also well kept with plenty of space to relax there too. It’s also a great location in terms of being near to both Carcassonne town & airport, yet it in the calm of the countryside. And there’s still a boulangerie & small shop nearby so you’re well-catered for.

In an ideal world there’d be a second toilet… &we also couldn’t get the lock to work on the toilet but it was ok…

The staff were very cooperative, friendly, and fluent in English. The overall ambiance was great. Most of the guests were university students, often seen playing cards, chess, ping-pong, swimming, or working out at the gym. The hotel also offers other activities such as street workouts, yoga classes, and movie screenings. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to try all of them.

The room was a bit smaller than expected. The AC didn’t work very well. Still the staff cooperated and changed the old room to a lower temperature room.

I had no idea about the existence of The Social Hub, which is present in multiple cities. The environment is vibrant and youthful, just like the entire staff. It’s a facility that offers a wide range of services—from laundry to a cinema, from a gym to a rooftop pool. The place is partly dedicated to students and partly to travelers, with separate accommodation areas for both. The breakfast was simply excellent, offering a great variety of options, including healthy choices. There’s a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere throughout. I will definitely return!

The bed and the linen were excellent- we had a very good night’s sleep. The room was quiet too and the aircon gave just the right temperature. The towels were lovely and fluffy and a good size. Just a little odd having the wash basin in the bedroom and not the bathroom. The shower was very good. Location is good - not central but just a five minute walk from the metro station. Staff were very helpful Atmosphere in the hotel and in the bar were good.

Tumblers were provided for a tiny amount of coffee from the machine but I understand this is under review. The lighting in the room was dim but I’m told we missed the regulator to adjust.

The staff was very friendly and eager to help/answer our questions. The breakfast and location were also good. The rooftop with a pool was perfect for the summer season.

The illumination of the room was too dark. The color of the walls is dark blue so that increases this effect. I like the idea of dim illumination, but it should be also possible to have full clear illumination in the room. The draining system of the shower was not optimal, a less than 1-minute shower already creates a poodle that takes half an hour or more to be drained away. The cues for the billiard table were worn out and should be replaced.

The staff was great, really friendly and helpful. Beautiful common area and bedroom, a lot of available services like restaurant, laundry, gym, quiet places, rooftoop with a pool. Really easy to check in by yourself but there's always someone if needed. Great location near the metro station and airport shuttle. Sockets on the bed, perfect to charge the phone and other little things that the room offered. Loved the decoration, especially the colorful lifts :D The food was great both at dinner and at breakfast.

A little tricky to work the light switch at first but I got there. It isn't on and off, we press it and it changes the intensity of light until it goes out, which is a cool feature but it could be a bit brighter. The only complain that the person that went with me had was about the wifi but it was fine with me.
