The total is in a fantastic location, walking distance from most sight seeing. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Everything was neat and clean.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian only area. So, one has to park at a nearby garage and then walk to the hotel. The Jeanne D"Arc garage was a mess. We had trouble finding the entrance, and there was no obvious pedestrian entrance that was unlocked when we got back. The special pricing tickets we received from the hotel did not work properly so the machine did not give us an exit ticket. We were lucky that there was a human on the help line to let us out!

This is right in the centre of Toulouse. Small double room with ensuite. Room was clean, tidy and well kept. Lots of towels and pillows. Continental breakfast was really nice. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Staff are very friendly, kind and obliging. We don't speak very much French i.e. my wife does a bit and I don't at all!

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. But honestly, that's because I'm a tea drinker. It's not a deal breaker🙂

Staff were really helpful and lovely, the location was very central, the room was clean with a great bathroom. Breakfast was delicious.

We stayed in the studio room, which seemed to offer a little more space and a small kitchen area, as well as bedroom mezzanine and bathroom, but in fact the overall result was quite cramped.The room was well set up. However, the sofa/kitchen area is very cramped, and the staircase from the kitchen to the bathroom and then from bathroom to bed mezzanine is very narrow. We are fit and fairly skinny, and we were only there for one night. I would not like to have dealt with the staircase and cramped kitchen quarter for more than one night. And if we had been larger, the staircase would have been problematic.

Very nice room. Clean and comfortable. Not very large but standard. The only thing I would say is that booking through Bookings.com made it a lot more expensive than the in-house price. Very nice breakfast and helpful, friendly staff.

The price was more expensive than the in-house price. I would try to book directly another time. Not use Bookings. Com. No advice with parking and Toulouse is now an almost no-go area for cars. Taxis could be very expensive.

It’s very central, if you pay for breakfast, it’s very nice. The communal areas are nice.

There was a National emergency (arson happened during Olympic Games) and I was stuck at the train station. I requested a refund, but they refused to reimburse me. I thought it was beyond rude. I finally made after being 12 hours on the road. The rooms are dated and very small. The showers have mild and the bathroom has unpleasant smell (my second room did). The stuff was nice and it’s right in the center.

Perfectly charming hotel in an ideal location in the heart of Toulouse. The room was excellent, the service outstanding and the breakfast very generous. Loved Toulouse and plan to return, and will choose this hotel to stay. Toulouse has a central city that is car free, so we deposited our car in a car park about 5 minutes walk from the hotel after depositing our bags at the hotel. The hotel is near many excellent restaurants and very up-market shops.

Excellet breakfast, outstanding front desk assistance from Serge and other staff. Great location close to the Capitole square, St. Sernin (over 200 reliquaries of saints), and the Convent of the Jacobins (tomb of St. Thomas Aquinas). We found the room and bed larger in Room 315 compared to Room 410.

Shower leaked out water. Compared to the shower in Room 410, the shower was not as good.

Albert 1er Hotel is absolutely charming, but best of all, it is very quiet. It is strategically located close to the main square, where you can find plenty of places for lunch or dinner. The premises are spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable and the size of the room is fair. Staff is kind and multilingual. It is the ideal place for a perfect stay in Toulouse.

Great front desk staff. Yulia helped us a lot and provided directions to all the major sites. The breakfast buffet is also very good. Great coffee, fruit and natural yogurt selections. The bed was comfy, the bathroom and shower large. The location is very close to the Capitole square and very close to St. Sernin. Many restaurants around the hotel.

My first visit to Toulouse and my stay at Hotel Albert 1er was very pleasant. The location was superb, right in the city centre and within walk in distance of most of the attractions in the city. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very attentive and friendly. And I really enjoyed the breakfast, which most times can be disappointing but this time was provided with local produce, and healthy options and it was very varied. I would recommend it.

The coffee machine made the breakfast seem less good. I would prefer the option of just general filter coffee served in cafetière rather than a hospital style coffee machine. But I know some people would prefer this option as you can have different coffee styles in one. I also didn't enjoy having to leave the keys at reception every time I was going in and out, sometimes staff was busy and I had to wait for a long time just to hand a key. But they were always kind and friendly.
