The hotel is in an ideal location - walking distance from all the major sights and convenient to public transportation. The public parking garage is underground just across the street and the hotel offers a discount on the normal rate. When you walk out the front door and step across the street you are in the beautiful square adjacent to the Capitole. It is stunning. The public rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Our room was seriously red - the walls, carpet, draperies, sofa - and might easily have been overwhelming but was so well done we found it warm and comfortable. We had a spacious sitting room and separate bedroom each with a TV. The wi-fi was very adequate. The bathroom was satisfactory with nice amenities including plush robes and slippers. Good breakfast available.

The room showed its age. I know it would be expensive, but it could do with a re-vamp. Couldn't get the aircon working. Perhaps it was switched off for the winter? Still, I get very warm so would have liked to been able to control the temperature of the room. We didn't opt for breakfast as we considered it too expensive when you can simply stroll across the square to, for example, Le Florida, and have a very good breakfast there for very little money; plus you get to watch the world go by as you enjoy it.

The bath and shower in the bathroom Immovable door and lack of anything to hold made it difficult for either of us to get out of the bath, any slight problem with ageing limbs made it very hard

The hotel told us that we could get reduced parkimg cost by paying them directly so we paid them €13 for 24 hours which would have been a good deal. Unfortunately the Indigo Capitole parking lot did not accept the ticket bar code the hotel gave us so we ended up paying an additional €30 to be able to exit the garage. Spoke to the attendant at Indigo and they couldn't make it work either. Don't let this put you off staying here but just make sure you don't pay for parking twice!

Location was superb. Reception area was beautiful and it was nice that it was tucked away, off the square. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and looked after our luggage and transferred it to our room. The bed was vey comfortable and the room was spacious. Reception staff also looked after our bags between check out time and early afternoon, when we took a taxi to the airport.

We thought the enormous painting which served as a bedhead in our brother and sister's room was a bit strange, but this is not really a complaint.

We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a double door entry way - totally quiet. We arrived early and could not check in until 3:30 but lobby area was lovely. Jeanne (on duty) was friendly and helpful. We had refreshments in the lobby, she facilitated our table at the adjacent restaurant, and when we returned our bags had been placed in our rooms. We had two rooms/four people - all great! This is a lovely location and property.

Beautifully furnished and elegant yet tastefully modernised hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The brunch was amazing. We wished we had eaten it every day compared to what was available locally. We didn't need lunch, so it was definitely better value than getting breakfast and lunch elsewhere. We would definitely stay again if we came back. You are two steps from the heart of the city, which we didn't realise. Highly recommended!

There was nothing we didn't like about it. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Great location right at Place Capitole. Great discount on parking in the nearby garage beneath the place. The hotel is full of old-style character, with quirky wallpaper, carpets, mirrors, etc. This is an old building (in good shape!) so you feel the history. Our room was large, very comfortable, with some character from 100 years ago, good AC and wifi.

Our stay was just what we expected, especially the great location. Our only quibble would be that the breakfast was adequate but nothing very special.

Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Olympic torch was traveling past Hotel on Friday afternoon. They opened up two suites that face the Capital Square so guests could watch from the balcony. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom clean and modern. Staff also helped us get cabs for in-town travel. We had an amazing time and will definitely stay there again.

The only ding was that many of the electrical outlets were worn, so it required we had to periodically wiggle or move the plug to get power

Beautiful decor and furniture. Exceptionally clean in all areas. Outstanding service from the moment we walked in. The manager could not have better in any way, extremely helpful. On seeing my wife was on crutches he immediately offered and brought a chair for use in the wonderful shower room. Very comfortable room. We ate in the on site Brasserie and the food was stunningly good. We will definitely stay here again during our regular trips to Toulouse.

The clear plastic chairs in the breakfast room look cheap and out of place in such a quality hotel.
