From the moment we booked our room the communication was beyond our expectations. Chad helped us during our stay and I must say he made everything smooth and delightful, we appreciated our upgrade for our anniversay stay, that was extremely sweet! The property, pool and rooms were gorgeous and so peaceful. Our room was immaculate, super clean and it was such a bonus to have coffee, snacks and water/sodas/ in the fridge at no extra cost. There were lots of complaints about the flooring in the room which we didn't see an issue with at all. The outdoor grounds were very well kept and clean, lobby was very cool too!

Due to the many complaints about the carpet in the room I feel like a really good solution would be to add in some slippers or disposable flip flops for guests. The one thing I really would've loved for our stay is a robe for getting out of the shower and getting ready. My husbands one and only comment was the bathroom products (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) bottles were almost impossible to use. The bottles were too tough to squeeze and dispense.

I stayed in the Sun Queen room and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. From the location to the hospitality, I was extremely impressed with the Mahala. I will definitely be back! Thanks Chad for the amazing customer service. I enjoyed the text messages from your team, prior to and during my stay. It felt personalized. I hope you always keep this aspect of your booking process.

The pool had some bugs in it, but overall, I enjoyed the pool area, especially relaxing under the tree.

Chad is phenomenal, he took such good care of us from start to finish. The hotel is brand new, everything was so clean. Rooms were cool, nicely styled, and the pool was cozy. Although they don’t have a bar or restaurant they offer water, sparkling water and snacks whenever you need it. They have games you can borrow and play and the building is secure. The beds were so comfortable!

The pool has no umbrellas or much shade so in the summer months it’s super uncomfortable to lounge or read a book directly in the sun. The carpet in the rooms is unbearable to walk on. There were no full length mirrors in the rooms. There was also no outdoor bar or food.

We stayed for one night only, but it was really a perfect weekend. This property has a very private feeling, modern furniture outside and inside, very clean, neatly organized. The staff was very helpful, friendly and extremely accommodating. Parking is on site, great coffee place just one block down. The room was pretty big and shower even bigger. There is a fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks, there was also a water cooler next to the ice maker. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and seating areas very comfortable. Entire property has a mediterranean vibe and we liked it very much!

Really appreciate how attentive the staff are via email and text. Typically they would respond to my texts in under 2-3 minutes. They reached out when I made the reservation and again a few days leading up to my reservation providing door code and check in. Check in/out was incredibly simple and I was able to do so without ever going to the front desk. Most importantly the room felt extremely clean and clearly recently updated.

The shower was quite loud, but the pressure was good. Others mention the roughness of the carpet but honestly I didn't mind it even without socks. The pool was a little small.

This is my second time staying at the Mahala, I love it everytime for daytrips. It is at the main entrance of Palm Springs and about a 5 minute car ride to Downtown, so it is perfect. Check-in was a breeze, they make sure to email you the steps and times for check-in. Parking is in the back of the hotel. The room is so clean and comfy, there are complimentary drinks and snacks in your room and there are many seating areas outside of the room in the communal area. We enjoyed the jacuzzi at night, so quiet and peaceful. Checkout was also a breeze, can't wait to come back!

Well located cool place to stay - very close to Downtown Palm Springs. The room was modern & clean, very comfortable bed, a brilliant spacious shower and lots of complimentary snacks. We were here in February so no one was swimming or outside their rooms at night so it was very quiet.

The reception is staffed from 11am - 6pm so we didn't see a lot of Scott - that said, he did ring before we arrived after 6pm to make sure we had the entry code details.

Location was ideal for our needs short walk to nearby restaurants/bars plus Bill Reed's across the road was a bonus. Quiet, spacious, modern and clean place to stay, only spent 1 night but could definitely have stayed longer especially around the pool. Loved the snacks and Peets coffee pods provided in the room (being a Brit these were a lovely treat) - great place to end our 3 week east coast adventure. Def recommend if you are looking for somewhere in the area; 5* to Team Mahala.

Nothing we didn't like.

Lovely little retreat, well appointed and great for relaxing and sleeping. Our room was spacious, bed comfortable and shower hot and powerful. Complementary snacks and drinks were very welcome after a long day spent driving cross country. A dip in the pool and a chill out session in the hot tub made our stay that more better too. Although we arrived late and didn’t actually meet any of the staff, I appreciated clarity of the instructions that were provided for late check-in as well as WhatsApp messages to ensure we were all fine and comfortable.
