We were staying at this hotel many times and therefore, we knew what what we would experience which was great. Most of the staff are very helpful and welcoming and especially the managers. The rooms are great and the resort, beach and Talisa Spa are wonderful.

Firstly, I did expect more for our email communications and unfortunately, we did not receive the replies in time or even not any! I did request for a quiet room from the beginning and we were forced to change our room three times! Unfortunately, our experience at the first step for check-in with the staff was not very pleasant and there was just two managers who really helped us a lot. I believe the resort really needs more buggies for transportations of the guests and it is usually an issue to get a buggy or Abra in time.

Villa 19-01 was great however they class it as a ‘deluxe lagoon view’ however you can’t see the water. It was a 5-8min drive in a buggy / on an abra. The butlers were fantastic and the sundowners were a real treat after a day around the pool. Abras and buggies were fun and you only waited max 10mins for one at any time of the day.

The pool is in desperate need of repair - both our children injured themselves on broken tiles. We chose Jumeirah over other resorts due to the access to the Wild wadi water park so the whole family, particularly our 8 year old little girl were hugely disappointed to discover the park was closed during our stay, evethough the booking confirmation stated the park would be open from 2nd feb. Not only we’re we disappointed, we felt it was poor/false advertising as we had paid a lot of money for something we couldn’t use.

The facilities

Breakfast is chaos and way too crowded for a 5 star resort. Long queues at the cooking stations. The resort has enough food outlets so the breakfast should be divided into different zones to reduce the crowd in one spot.

The Butler Adrees from villa 26 made our Holiday. The food is amazing as always. Staff couldn't do more for you. The resort is so clean and almost have too many staff that are all so helpful.

The villa was quite far away and needed to get a buggy or boat from it but that is partially our fault as we booked an inland villa. Next time we would book a villa that was on the seafront to allow better transport around the resort

Beautiful and well maintained We also had a problem and needed a Doctor, they sent the Dr. Very fast and checked to see if we need anything and if everything was good.

They didn’t tell us that breakfast is until 11 on Saturday and Sunday. We arrived at 11 and although the restaurant was full of people and the buffet was still open, they refused to let us sit and sent us to the lobby for a complimentary breakfast a la cart. We highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to experience the true essence of Dubai in a luxurious and intimate setting.

I can’t describe our stay in words , it was magical. the hospitality, the staff and our butler ( Bea ) were amazing, they truly made everything easy for us.

I only wish the breakfast was better , and there is no water hose inside the bathroom :(

The customer experience was truly exceptional, in terms of the quality of the service, the quality of the facilities (the J Club and the swimming pools spring to mind), the diversity, accessibility and quality of the restaurants (special mention for La Promenade and Cala Vista), the cleanliness of the site, the rooms and bathrooms, and the little things that make all the difference (sun cream on the beach, cleaning of glasses, distribution of vitamin boosters in the gym, etc.) and of course the smiles, availability and professionalism of the staff (special mention to Abhi for house-keeping in room 611 and to Faith, our Butler...).

A very warm welcome with a very disintguished and may I say VIP check in process where you are served with choices of beverages and snacks (also can self serve). The Villa where we stayed is connected to the Jumeirah properties along the beach with access to all the facilities such as Kids Club, Wild Wadi Park, Souk Madinat Jumeriah and 40+ restaurants. Movement in the resort can be via buggy service or Abra (small electric boat) which moves along a man made river giving the sense of Venice. The service is well organized by controllers who can contact different drivers/ captains and arrange a ride for you. The staff are all very friendly and help guests to give them a full tour of the property and take pictures. The villa we selected came with a butler (also accessible via Whatsapp known as E-butler). This is simply a concierge service that helps make the stay a little more comfortable. We were very grateful to the butler in villa 5 for her above and beyond support in arranging glass of milk for our young ones. Also the birthday celebration was amazing with cake, fresh fruits, dates and chocolates, balloons and towel art. Evening snacks and drinks were part of the villa which was a lovely touch when we returned from Wild Wadi. The kids club was a treat for us, where you can leave kids under the supervision of the staff there. They had a mini version of most indoor kids playbarea that kept our young ones busy and in safe hands. We would have liked to do the kids pool and splash play but didn't have time. It's worth making time for. The checkout experience was easy and right at the villa.

This is a personal feedback and may not apply to other guests 1. The toilet seat and couple of other features could have been modern and still fit with the heritage theme. 2. The e-butler could be more useful if they actually execute the request vs. redirecting you to another number to call.

As always - the service, location and all the facilities are at the highest possible level. I believe Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf is the best hotel in Dubai. I would like to especially note the fantastic level of service and guest experience of mr Hammad who works in an evening/night shift at the buggy station of the main building / palace. He is super polite, can support a positive discussion. Hammad is a natural-born person for customer interactions.
