The hostel’s location is excellent, with public transport just around the corner. The atmosphere is friendly, and the lounge feels like a comfortable living room. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, and we slept really well. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, and Carlos was the highlight; a true host who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Next time we’re in Bilbao, we’ll definitely be back!

At night it could be a bit noisy, but that’s due to the surroundings and not something the hostel can control.

Great location in the old town, many hidden cafes & bars on every turn, Close to the Ribera tram stop at the large market which I found easy to use. The staff where friendly and very helpful, allowed me to shower & store my bag as I arrived well before check in. A gentleman from the hostel was out in the early hours in the morning trying to help get us taxis to the airport which there was a lack of due to the football final. Liked there was a fridge in the common area where you could purchase drinks including beer. There was a private shower & toilet in the 4 dorm and also lockers.The bed was low to floor but mattress was comfy and I got a decent night's sleep ,I've never stayed in a hostel before but would be happy to stay here again.

Due to the football the women's dormitory was mixed which was explained after booking and I was offered a free cancellation.

This hostel far exceeded my expectations. It was quiet and friendly. I chose to extend my stay. The bed was comfortable, and other guests were considerate, so I slept very well. It is very useful to have kitchen facilities (fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, mini oven). They provide free tea and coffee all day, and breakfast is included. I found the communal area a very pleasant place to sit in the evenings. Lower bunk could not sit up to read, but that didn't bother me. I stayed off peak, so the hostel was not fully occupied. I think at busy times it could be noisier and queues for the showers.

Location is great, old town situated but yet on the quiet street, just on next one are all the bars. The hostel is really old school like it used to be - great terrace, common room, kitchen, TV room. Free breakfast with fresh fruits and coffee available all the day - great. I like that they didn't utilize the whole space only for sleeping. I had a 4 beds room with private bathroom - perfect choice, never too crowded, comfortable beds. You have towel for free! They have storage room and good Wi-Fi. The only thing you keep in mind - bring your locker if you want to lock yours :)

Location was right in the heart of old town Bilbao, a few minutes walk from metro station and tram stop. Staff was very friendly and gave me directions on what to do around the city when asked. Breakfast was included with my reservation, coffee, tea, toast+jam, fruits and cereal. There's also a fridge where you can store your own food, a microwave and a small oven. No cooking top.

Not a big issue for me, neighborhood was a bit noisy at night during the weekend as there are many bars and pubs around. Something to be expected for a location like that.

Beautiful hostel in the old part of Bilbao. Shared a 4 bed female room with en-suite bathroom. Bed and pillow were very comfortable and we had our own charging point and bed light. Common area was really nice too and breakfast was included cereal bread butter jam fruit and biscuits. Tea and coffee was available all day and there was a nice outside balcony on the 5th floor. Area was quiet at night even though it was centrally located. Online checkin was easy and staff helpful. Towels and lockers are provided but you need to bring a lock. Arrived early and was able to leave my bags at hostel until which let me go and explore beautiful Bilbao for the day

There is nothing really I did not like but for the privacy and respect of other roommates it would be nice if there were curtains on the bunk beds

I liked the personal light, and electricity of each and every bed. That it was mentioned everywhere people should maintain quiet. That there was a small fridge for our own food, that there was a microwave available, possibility to wash dishes, drink water and have breakfast. The showers were private and I loved that

That the toilets had small room for the legs when sitting. Per floor were available just 2 toilets (sometimes it can be a little busy) and that the distance between lower bed and upper bed was too small (you would knock your head everywhere, and also your body to the stairs in the right.

I liked everything about this hostel, the hospitality was superb, it is a very cosy place, and the grand entrance with its high ceilings makes a very welcoming area. The location was excellent in the old town and Mercado de la Ribera with its many tapas bars, to taste the excellent cuisine of this Basque Capital, which is to die for

The seating room was separated from the main area, but I guess it is a narrow building, and they prioritised the kitchen downstairs, fair enough!

The location is great, right near the Ribiera market and the tram stop that can take you to the Guggenheim area. It’s easy to walk there as well as any where in the old town. It was cool to have vending machine items like beer and water in the lobby and a free breakfast is probably nice for most people - i liked going to ribiera market instead. Also, the staff are so friendly and helpful!

Something fell behind our bunk beds so we all helped to move it and there were layers and layers of dust. I didn’t feel like things in the rooms really get cleaned thoroughly very often. I also wish the bunk beds weren’t directly on the floor (a bit difficult to get up from) and there are no curtains for privacy like some other hostels have these days. The lockers were a bit small so we all kept things outside of them. But for the price, it’s a great value.

LOVED the free coffee/tea all day long - lifesaving as a remote worker. The facilities were excellent. I appreciated that there were extra bathrooms in the hallway aside from the one located within the room. The beds were comfortable, room was nice and warm, and the common area was cozy.

The plugs on the bed were to close to the wall and so I couldn't plug in my travel adapter :/ This could be an issue for others as well as most travel adapters tend to be pretty bulky.
