This OMEO hotel was a real pleasure during my stay at the end of May. Jason and the staff were very helpful and friendly, and my room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel's location was great, close to the village and all the key spots. On-site amenities were flawless, lacking nothing (extra blankets appreciated too). I would definitely stay there again if I ever find myself in Big Bear area. The value for money was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay so thank you guys for everything. Highly recommend!

Probably nothing. My suite hasn't been renovated yet, but it's still in pristine shape.

great location! we walked the 200 metres to the Town Village with all the stores and restaurants that you’ll love. we went to Big Bear to ski and sightsee and the location is brilliant and almost next door to a great ski rental store with rates 25% cheaper than at the snow summit rental stores. Omeo Suites offers really nice accommodations with comfy beds and hot showers. the check in room is also a kitchen area you can access to make coffee and tea and use their ovens and cooking facilities and they’ll even give you a bag of popcorn if you ask. The check in staff were wonderful and nothing was too difficult to ask for. Best of all the price was amazing in comparison to other places in Big Bear. our Australian dollar went a long way staying at Omeo Suites.

our first night we had people staying in the room above and they were getting ready to leave at 3am and the noise was a bit overkill. The managers made sure our following night was better by moving new bookings to rooms further away from our room to guarantee our second night offered peace and quiet.

Jason and his staff made this stay absolutely amazing. When the storm hit we did not have an additional night booked. Jason was able to move rooms around allowing us to book day of and stay in the same room for the same rate. When it dumped rain the next day and our gear was soaked, Jason kindly dried all of our gear while providing rainy day recommendations. Based on staff alone I would recommend Omeo to everyone. It is also in a perfect location - very close to food, bowling alley/activities are literally across the street, and Bear/Snow Summit are only a few minutes away. Would highly recommend Omeo for your Big Bear getaway! 10/10!

I wouldnt change anything. It is a standard room with amazing staff/accommodations. Omeo was a great experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Big Bear.

First and foremost, I liked the location which is pretty close to the Big Bear Mountain ski resorts. Even though it was during the Washington's Birthday weekend, the rates were pretty affordable and reasonable by a Big Bear standard. The room we stayed exceeded our expectation. It had everything we needed during our stay. We were just too busy for skiing to check out the lounge and other facilities, but they looked pretty good. When we checked in after night skiing, Jason greeted us with warm hospitality and gave us some useful local knowledge. Unlike the "average" front desk people, he did really like to chat with his guests, which made us feel extremely comfortable. In the neighborhood, you also have an access to everything you would need during your stay. I will definitely come back to this place for skiing during winter and hiking/trekking for the rest of the year. Thanks a lot!

Beware of a little bit of noise from those passing vehicles, especially at night, as this place sits right next to the main street, Big Bear Blvd. The noise issue is not exclusive for this property, though. You can't really avoid it as long as you stay alongside Highway 18. It didn't really bother me once I fell asleep after all.

Jason was absolutely awesome. Super accommodating and helpful. He got us in a little early which helped out and got us out of the weather. The location was nice and close to everything. The room was warm and pretty clean, the fireplace we enjoyed.

The bed was squeaky and I move a lot due to past back surgery so we didn't sleep very well. The TV went out shortly after the snow came in( Jason tried to fix it , but no luck, and I get it, thats on DirecTV) but that was a bummer as we wanted to watch the football game while enjoying dinner. Overall we enjoyed it though, hopefully you keep updating the rooms. Also, I wish there was more of cover/over hang at the door outside. We couldnt help but track water and snow inside.

I really liked that the place was small, yet comfortable and affordable. We were looking to stay just overnight, so we didn't require a lot of space. The room was very warm and cozy. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We got there early and our room happened to be ready, so we were able to check in early, which was very convenient to us. The main office had complimentary waters and snacks, a fireplace and a few games to play. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to others or come back to stay again myself.

Something was wrong with the shower mixing valve. Since we didn't stay long, we just had to deal with it. The staff wrote down some notes about the problem so it would be fixed.

I liked the hotel, everything was clean, everything was comfortable, the heating, the TV, the programming, the refrigerator, the microwave, the coffee, the beds in the bathtub, it really is a good hotel Omeo

Comfortable beds, fire tv with apps, heat, microwave and keurig. Great location walking distance to the Village area with restaurants. Right across from the bowling barn.

No fridge, only decaf coffee pods, found hair on the inside blanket on the bed. Bathroom needs update, there was a loose glass shelf above the toilet and small holes in the wall.

Price and location. Price is really competitive. Location is great, walking distance to the village, 5min drive to snow summit, and 15min drive to bear mountain.

Facilities are terrible. No stable hot water for shower. No noise isolation at all. I can hear everything outside and adjacent rooms.

We travelled to Big Bear just for a weekend getaway with my family. We initially chose this hotel because it was cheaper than all other options. I read from previous reviews that it was being renovated. When we got there, it looked indeed renovated. We were assigned a room with 2 queen beds but we later asked to switch to a single king size bed which they accommodated. We were really happy! The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable.

It seems that there is a gap in the main door so while standing by the door, I noticed a draft of the wind from outside since it so happened that there was a high wind advisory at Big Bear during our stay. I think this is an easy fix if they want to. All is needed is that door draft that one puts at the bottom of the door. Not necessary but might help with electricity bills. Despite this, the temperature was nice and perfect for us. It also seemed like there was a smoke smell from outside and because of this gap in the door we smelled it in our room.
