I am very please with the VLI. the Inn is excellent place to stay. The property setting is really nice. I love there an outdoor table and chair with a view of the lake. Staff members are just amazing. Location is excellent. Close to the bus stops, restaurants and shops. Room is great there a gas range fire place and decent amount of cable channels. I love there is a refrigerator and microwave available to use. The room got a lot of space to walk around as well as the bathroom. I will be a repeat to stay at the Inn.

Maybe to get a different lamp since the touch lamp is tricky. Easy to turn on but hard to turn off when touching many times. Only way to turn off the light quick is to unplug the lamp and plug it back in. The Sink is tricky too. to get hot water you have to use the right side faucet handle instead of the left side which is normally use. I figured it out after wondering why cold water for a long time and I decided to try the right side handle faucet.

Perfect for what I needed (a short stay to go skiing)! Great location between the Village and the slopes. Easy parking and ground level (it's all ground level, so no one above you) add to convenience. Spacious room with large bathroom, microwave, and a larger frig than is typical. I booked early, so got a great price too! And, the owner/manager was very nice.

For me personally, the bed and pillows were a little too soft. Recommend they replace older bedspread with cozier comforter.

We arrived about 2 hours early and called and Stacy answered, and told us that the room was ready and she had the room fireplace on it was warm waiting for us. Room was very clean and had coffee, microwave, & refrigerator ready to use. We met Stacy at the front desk, she was very friendly and kind. Our stay was very comfortable and a great location. When we arrived the sidewalks were being cleared from all the snow, so no worries walking to our room with our luggage. We will be going back!!!

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. There was a thermostatically controlled gas fire which was great as the conditions were cold. Parking was free and outside room. There were some chairs and tables in the grounds which would have been useful in better weather. There were several restaurants within walking distance.

The location of the hotel was very good. It was close to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and we liked the fact that there was a refrigerator and microwave oven. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Although there were blinds on the windows that provided privacy, there really needed to be curtains to keep out the light. There was too much light coming into the room which made it a little difficult to sleep adequately.

The beds were soft, which I liked. Good size mini-fridge. Outside tables available for a picnic. It was a very short walk to the lake. Jessica, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful.

Too bad there was no air conditioning. It was unusually hot in Big Bear this weekend. We opened a window, which helped. There was a fan available, we just didn't use it. No ice machine on premises.

The staff was very helpful. When I needed extra bath and hand towels, the staff kindly provided these items. The room was very clean. Plus, the location was near Sonora Cantina, an excellent restaurant, as well as The Village. I was able to walk in the morning and evening at nearby locations.

I’m a PCT thru-hiker and had a great stay at the Vintage Lakeside Inn. The owners are wonderful and incredibly accommodating and helpful. They even gave me a ride back to the PCT trailhead after my stay, free of charge. The room had everything I needed, clean, comfortable bed, bath and shower, fridge, and a fireplace heater in the room. Feeling super grateful for my stay and for the owners of this place.

The family suite was amazing because it came with a mini kitchen & mini living room c the fireplace... Just amazing to be honest we all loved it... Staff was actually nice & friendly...

The only thing we didn't like or my hubby was the TV wasn't working very well it'll loose its signal than comes back after 1 min... but other than that everything else was awesome... Bathroom kitchen room fits 2 queen beds living room c fireplace, it was the best...

We booked the spa room, and it was very clean. The water was hot. However, the knob for the hot water was a little bit unscrewed, but it still worked. The jets worked as well. The layout of the room made it feel more like a home than a motel. The bed was comfortable.

My biggest issue is that there is NO deadbolt on the door. It seems some of the rooms have them and some don't. The knob locks, of course, but there's no secondary lock.
