The Location was nice it was clean . The room was nicely decorated and the bed was actually comfortable. It was stocked with snacks and drinks you could purchase. Unfortunately if you bring your own drinks and put them in the fridge... People can confuse them for the ones you brought.. Like my guy did 🫢

The Internet website showed it had a pool. When we got there, there was a sign that said it was closed for renovations. In the room there was a paper that said it was only available to certain residents. They should state online that the pool isn't available yet. That is the only reason I answered that it didn't meet my expectations . I was expecting a pool.

The property is great, it is just a few minutes of walk from the Village. This is a rather small hotel which is excellent. Lots of complimentary parking places. There is a small inside pool that I did not try but was open. There is a coffee machine, microwave and a fridge, plus a table and 2 chairs, and plastic cups.

When you stay a long time like I did, having a pair of plate / knife / spoon would have been great.

The room was wonderful. The staff was friendly. Location was perfect.

Nothing was bad enough to not come back or complain about. The only thing I would change, which is just to point out, is just being the only thing I noticed was the location of the toilet paper roll. It fell off too easily because of its holder. The other thing was the thin walls because I heard kids who were yelling and running up and down the stairs. This, too, is what I feel you can't control. Kids will be kids.

Exceptional location within walking distance to the main street. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the pet-friendly policy was a big plus. The pool was perfect for passing time during the winter storm. Having a Tesla charger on-site was very convenient.

Shower water was impossible to regulate: it was either too hot or too cold.

Loved the decor and updates throughout the hotel.The location was a nice short walk to the village. Water bottle refill and Keurig coffee was nice to have! Bed was firm but comfy. ac was great. loved having the mini fridge and microwave.

The door next to our room to go out of the hotel didn't shut easily and had to be slammed to close which was loud. People above us were loud as well.

Location, price and staff

The text messages received before check in. They are in a rude tone telling you to not check in before 4 o clock or else you'll pay 50 usd. When we got there about 20 minutes before time we were met by a lovely lady with a big smile telling us that is was no problem at all. Also the blankets are very thick, really designed for the winter months but a bit too hot during the summer.

The games were great for kids in their lobby. We loved the room. Lady with the long straight blonde hair at desk was super helpful. Walking distance to main street. Dog friendly with dog biscuits.

That the hot tub wasn’t in working condition for our entire stay. The pool was quite cold. An ice machine would be a great addition. It was available at an extra cost.

The hotel was less than 2 full blocks away from 'The Village' AKA downtown which has lots of shops, restaurants, movie theater, etc. It is across the street from the bowling alley (bowling barn) and the lake. Our room also had a view of the lake and mountains which was very much appreciated. Mrs. Julee was very hospitable and welcoming and made checking in and out incredibly easy.

There was nothing the hotel could do about this, but there was a lot of noise early in the morning from what sounded like heavy equipment being operated.

The hotel was very comfortable and cozy. The location was awesome you can literally walk to the village were all the nice restaurants and stores are. We also walked to the kayak rentals which was fun and easy. Overall the place was great and dont miss out on the nice pool and jacuzzi they have. The sraff were bery nice and helpful as well!

The location was great with easy access to the meeting I was attending and to the Village at Big Bear. The room was quaint and it was nice staying at a place that was not your typical chain hotel. I enjoyed the white noise machine in the room as well.

Wi-fi was weak at times, but I am aware that in the mountains wi-fi can be an issue everywhere.
