The hotel was wonderful. We chose this hotel because my wife GRADUATED MSU a long time ago, and she wanted to visit the campus again with us to share her feelings. It is her back to school trip. My teenage daughter said it was the best hotel in the city area. The hotel looks antique and cozy. She took several photos. We had one small episode to share. My 10 years old boy left his favorite penguin doll in the hotel room. He is my boy, who acts like other boys of those ages. And we catched that 3 hours later of the checkout. At that time, we just finished the tour of the campus and hit the road. So, we had to return to the hotel but we couldn't find it even though we spent almost 30 minutes. We were out of time because we had to take long long trip to home, and we couldn't wait any more. So we were dependent on hotel guys. They finally found it, and they are sending it to us for free. We are very thanks to them. If you want to recall your school memories, it may be a good choice to stay at the graduate. I heard that there are more.

We have stayed at the Graduate many times and it is always a pleasant experience. The Valet service and Front Desk staff stood out to us this time-it was graduation weekend and they did a great job especially for how busy it was.

The only complaint we had this time was that housekeeping did not clean our room. We had our do not disturb off the door but all they did was drop off clean towels. Did not make bed or clean room. Disappointed because we had some guests come back to our room after graduation.

Love the themed Michigan/MSU decor! Rooftop bar has awesome views of MSU campus. Drinks were great. Coffee/Cafe was nice.

The valet area. There is no where to park upon arrival especially during game day. Lined up down the street waiting for valet. They need a better designated parking spots otherwise you’re sitting on the street holding up traffic. Credit to the young men as they did the best they could given the amount of people checking in, coming and going.

It was very clean. Amenities in the room were great. Beds/pillows are very comfortable (I prefer harder madresses, so it worked for me very well). The room was spatious. Altough breakfast was not included, instant coffee (and the kettle) was provided (some tea would have been nice too). There's also fridge in the room. There's a cafe at the ground floor of the hotel that provides breakfast options. The view was great (over campus).

Windows did not open to get fresh air (apparently it's related to overall ventilation and AC of the building, but would be nice to get fresh air as some people cannot stand the AC).

We had an excellent stay. The hotel is very convenient to campus, restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, quiet, and had a nice view of campus. Great shower.

The valet-only parking was a little odd and inconvenient for this kind of hotel, but we had no big complaints as the system for retrieval worked efficiently.

We SO enjoyed our stay at the Graduate! We actually looked up other locations and can’t wait to visit others. The aesthetic was very pleasing, and fun to notice the details and small things that you can’t experience at a large corporate hotel chain. Beyond that, we brought our two dogs and they really made us feel welcome and our dogs felt comfortable there. Our room was right near the elevator which was the only main issue, so they did tend to bark here and there whenever they head footfalls or chatting as folks came to and from the elevator, so a room further down the hall might have benefited everyone. We were pleased by the location, pleasantly surprised that we came during East Lansing’s Pride event which was a blast, and so many cute parks, spots on campus, and other sights to see in walking distance. Our only real gripe was no free parking options. Other than that we really had a fabulous stay.

The theming and views were great. Location was also great. We were visiting Michigan State University and it was directly across the street. Coffee shop downstairs and Rooftop bar was convenient and the food and drinks were really good.

Wish they had a little more selection for food in the hotel, however it's not a deal breaker, since there are so many restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The none stop experiences They did not clean the room once with clean towels and wash clothes. The shower never stopped dripping and there was no vent in the bathroom. No free black coffee and the instant in the room is not coffee.
