Perfect location for visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia! Reception was super helpful, loaning us a flashlight for our nighttime stargazing and letting us know where we could get items for some impromptu fishing. Brownies or blondes greet you on arrival and there is grab and go breakfast, including water, juice, coffee, tea, etc plus yogurt and baked goods. We had a Queen Suite room for our family of four, which was two bedrooms that open onto each other plus an en-suite bathroom. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. Nightstands and lamps in both rooms, a seating area in one and the mini fridge, microwave and a trunk in the other. Both rooms had dressers and TVs.

We were a little worried when we realized our room was right across from reception on the ground floor but happily, there were zero issues with noise or anything else.

We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed the little fig hotel. The staff is fantastic. So friendly and helpful! Thanks you Kina, Sarah and Skye! Best staff ever! The rooms are comfortable, clean and very homey. There are pastries for breakfast every morning. Plus there is coffee, juice, water and snacks available anytime of day. The hotel is in town but on the edge which is a great plus as you don’t have to deal with downtown traffic and can walk to everything. If we are ever in Bar Harbor again we will definitely want to stay here.

The Little Fig is such a cute hotel! It was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Bar Harbor with our main activity being visiting Acadia National Park. We loved the unlimited free water and ice available 24/7 in the lobby as well as the granola bars and other snacks perfect for hiking. The fresh, grab and go pastries in the morning was also such a convenience. The staff was so kind and helpful and we would absolutely stay here again!

The water pressure in the shower was less than ideal, but it didn’t ruin our stay.

A lovely hotel with extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very nicely presented and clean. We visited the national Park, so the location was also perfect.

The price included breakfast, which consisted of a "just add hot water" bowl of porridge, some pastries and coffee and orange juice, which was lovely and met our needs, but you had to eat it in the reception, or take it all back to your room or on the go. Although its a different approach and it worked for us, but if you had a family I can see it being difficult.

This was a rare treat--a getaway to celebrate the end of my spouse's cancer treatment. When I mistakenly booked a third-floor room and asked to change to something with less stairs to climb, the staff was very understanding and accommodating. Everyone we dealt with during our two-night stay was kind, friendly, and helpful. The bed was ridiculously comfortable--maybe the best bed I've ever slept on. The complimentary snacks and breakfast were also nice--and when we needed a bit more protein, we picked up some ham and local cheese at the natural food store right next door, and turned our croissants into breakfast sandwiches! If we return again, Little Fig Hotel will certainly be first on our list of choices.

The fan for the a/c unit in our room was a little noisy--honestly a very small complaint. We loved this place.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was great. Not too close to the noise but close enough to walk and enjoy everything. Acadia was less than 5 minutes away. The staff were all amazing and willing to assist in any way that we needed. The access to snacks was awesome!

The breakfast is very minimal, which isn't a big deal but something to be aware of. I thought the price was a bit high for what we received, but it was clean and comfortable.

After a first uneasy night, the hotel manager went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and to ensure we feel comfortable. Thank you very much! We even extended our stay for one night. The hotel provides a grab & go breakfast in the morning as well as high-quality snacks, coffee, tea, fruits, water, and juice bottles throughout the day. The hotel is very close to downtown, which means you can leave your car at the hotel parking lot and explore Bar Harbor by feet.

There is nothing really to complain about. Just we missed some more hooks in the room to hang our clothes. Instead of providing plastic water bottles you could have a refill station.

Front staff were very friendly and helpful; room was beautiful and spacious; location was very convenient to walking into town and also to the sand bar; we loved the large windows in the rooms

no on-site laundry- for the price of the room, this was disappointing. We were on a 12 day trip and needed to do laundry during our stay. No elevator- all luggage must be carried up 1-2 flights of stairs

The staff was exceptional! Suzie and Paula were absolutely amazing and attentive to our questions and needs during our stay. They both gave us great suggestions for restaurants and day excursions around Bar Harbor and also in Portland. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived til the time we checked out. The hotel was beautiful, room was very nice, complimentary snacks and drinks were very much appreciated and enjoyed and the location was in easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and harbor. Would definitely book this hotel again if we go back to Maine in the future!

Private first floor accomodations, near harbor,food, and shopping. Near local bus transit. Come and go on your schedule. Free continential breakfast and snacks and coffee available 24/7. Homemade treats in lobby. Private baths with tub and ahowers.. Helpful staff knowledgable of area and its eateries and shopping and sites.

Off season, not enough available taxi setvices. My own health issues hindered walking too far.
