Very nice room for the price. Don’t be put off by “motel”; very clean rooms, close to the downtown action, but still quiet. The breakfast was actually a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Even had eggs and sausage. Definitely enough choice to satisfy us. Pool was nice touch, clean, warm enough. Overall, very satisfied with stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Only thing I would say is the room felt a little warm during the day, even with AC on. We were out of the room most of the day and it was never anything that kept us from sleeping or napping. Just would have liked it a little colder.

The location of this motel was in downtown Bar Harbor, on the main walking street. It was close to restaurants, shopping, and Acadia National Park. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, large and had great water pressure. There was an amazing breakfast buffet in the mornings that remained well stocked at all times. Large selection of cold meats, cheeses, breads, cereal and fruit. Also offered hot items such as eggs and sausage. There was a swimming pool across the parking lot away from the rooms which is heated in the fall. It was open from 9amt to 9pm. Beach towels were provided. Free, easy parking on the premises. I would stay again when I return to Bar Harbor and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in town.

Our first night, we arrived very late and had to park further from our rooms in order to bring luggage into the rooms. Rooms were on the second floor, without an elevator. Neither of these issues were problematic for our group.

Three things are a must to me in the accommodation I use....clean, quiet and a large, comfortable bed. This place had all three and then some. Wonderful, fully equipped, large bathroom, a good size tv, a comfy area and plenty storage for yr belongings and luggage. Also a car park with plenty spaces. Staff were wonderfully welcoming at the front desk, informative and eager to accomodate, and the farewell cookie for yr journey was just a nice touch. The girls cleaning the rooms were so friendly and smiley and the guys doing the breakfast couldn't help you enough. Breakfast choice was really impressive and tasty. Breakfast area was also cleaned to a first class standard. Location was perfect..close enough to walk to everything and far enough away to not be bothered by noise. I can t recommend this place highly enough, I d stay again in a heartbeat. Well done to all concerned and thanks for yr hospitality!

I was a bit skeptical because this is a "motel" and the price was so much lower than other properties at the same time. I am SOOOO glad I booked it. First the staff is incredible. So welcoming and happy. They have activities every day. The room was spotless and the bathroom was huge. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash is Bath and Body Works Stress Relief!!! One of my favorite scents ever! Beds wer comfy, AC worked great. The breakfast was amazing - bagels and muffins, sausage, eggs, fruit - SO MUCH food. And the location is just perfect. We parked and walked the entire time never having to mess with any other parking. Check out was super easy and they were just as friendly offering us a cookie for the road. I will absolutely stay here again.

Location is fantastic, just steps from restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor and less than 10min drive to Acadia NP entrance. Breakfast was tasty. Room was clean and comfortable. The shampoo and conditioner they offered was out of this world. Usually most hotels water down their shampoo/conditioner so I usually just use my own because sometimes I also have allergic reaction to certain hair products. But I used theirs the entire stay and my hair looked and felt awesome. Front desk staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. One front desk employee even gave me a beautiful wrapped box of chocolates as my son and I returned to the hotel after dinner on Mothers Day. Very thoughtful and kind.

This motel was a treat! It is situated in a great area. The motel was comfortable and clean. The clerks who checked us in and out were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was THE best breakfast I have ever had at either a motel or hotel AND it was included in the reasonable price of our room. Our breakfast room attendant was friendly and did a great job refilling everything. The motel clerk said it was a European breakfast. Well, America, pay attention to how a breakfast is really done! I have nothing bad to say about our stay here.

Perfect location for our stay in Bar Harbor. We were able to park the car in the hotel parking lot and walk to the restaurants and shops. The water is just a short lovely walk too. Breakfast was more than I expected. Sausage, eggs, fruit and yogurt, plus bagels, avocado toast, juice, tea, coffee. Great way to start your day. The national park is just a 10 minute drive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Bar Harbor.

There really wasn’t anything not to like.

Location is amazing - right down from central Bar Harbor and the water, and minutes from entrance to Acadia. Lovely breakfast each morning which was delicious. Staff was incredibly helpful, and the hotel had fun events each day (smores, trivia, etc.) We didn't use the pool, but lots of families seemed to enjoy it. Location was quiet and had off-street parking which was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay at the Villager.

Room was a little humid, but I think mainly a result of the warm weather we were having!

The location in downtown Bar Harbor is excellent. I liked that you can walk to all the restaurants and shops. Plus, we were close to a park so we could sit by the water and enjoy the view and the wildlife. The breakfast was excellent with healthy choices and a good selection. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was quiet at night.

The rooms are older,but the bathroom was large and fully updated. The beds were also very comfortable. They do not skimp on essentials.

Very clean! Staff was great! Breakfast was wonderful! This motel provides all the little extras you don’t get anywhere else! Example a wonderful breakfast coffee and drinks till 9pm. A gift bag with fun treats! Shampoo conditioner and body wash in full size bottles for the week. A tv with a hundred channels including HBO showtime! All the comforts of home you could ask for. The location is great,in town you don’t have to move your car! Staff is great always greeted with a smile and ready to help!
