Everything! It was just 10 mins walking from the train station, next to a little creek and the view was breathtaking! If the weather permitted you van see the Matterhorn! Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Great hotel, I cant believe it is only 3 stars. It is right next to the bridge with great views of Matterhorn. This could also be seen from the comfortable lounge area. The wellness area exceeded my expectations, it had 4 different sauna rooms, a chillout area, experience showers, bucket shower and ice fountain. The breakfast was a mix of continental and American waffles station. It was close to the train station and main street. My single room was generous in size with a balcony and good views. I would recommend staying here and if I returned to Zermatt, I would choose this hotel again.

Loved hotel Bristol; location is perfect - inbetween all lift areas; ski bus stop 1 minute away, but you can walk to the lift (about 10 min); main street 5-7 minutes away; breakfast is superb - variety of local cheeses and meats, fresh juices, fresh baked bread and pastry etc. Large ski room with ski boots drier; Nice lounge area on the main floor; we had a room with a good size terrace and Mattehorn view - spectacular; rooms are on a small side though (Hey, it;s Europe), but very clean and well equipped; they have a wellness center with dry and wet sauna, cold bucket and ice maker (for the body); also, you can book a sauna outside in the yard; downstairs small business center with two computers, fax, copier; if I come back to Zermatt, Hotel Bristol is my best choice

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were in a Matterhorn view room and our view was completely unobstructed and straight-on. I loved sitting on the balcony each morning with a cup of coffee enjoying the view (the room had a kettle and powdered coffee packets). Our room was filled with light and a really good size for two people. I liked that it had a room safe and a fridge – convenient for storing leftovers and snacks. This was one of only two hotels we stayed at that didn’t provide a plug-in fan for the room but it gets cool enough in the mountains at night that it wasn’t really needed – we just kept the door cracked every night. This hotel is in a great location in Zermatt. It is a bit removed from the chaos of the main shopping street but only by a few minutes. It is on the other side of the river, which makes it quieter and also a little closer to the gondola station for the Matterhorn. I think it took us about 10 minutes to walk there from the train station, though there were also shuttles running frequently all over town if you didn’t want to walk (Zermatt is car free except for these – watch out so you don’t get hit!). I’d reached out to Hotel Bristol with a question about hiking poles ahead of our trip and they were very quick to respond and point me in the proper direction about where I could rent a pair (and at a discount, as a guest of the hotel). The friendliness continued when we arrived early, before check-in time. The receptionist was happy to store our bags and have them brought up to our room when it was ready, while we were out exploring. The other great thing about this hotel is the breakfast. It is included in the room rate and it is plentiful. Not only do they have the standard fruit, yogurt, cereal, and pastries. There is also a hot section where you can cook your own eggs and waffles.

Nothing really

I was able to get this location at a fair price by booking very early. The hotel is in a decent location for most practical purposes - it's about halfway between the train station and the lift to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. It's right next door to one of the most popular photo locations. They offer shuttle services though I didn't need them. The rooms were quite comfortable - among the best on the trip. I really liked that could crack multiple windows during the summer. The breakfast was good and it's in close proximity to an excellent bakery as well. Wall outlet close to the bed.

Typical European badly layed out bathroom. Having the shelf space by the mirror is my preference. Water pressure was far too high for the depth of the sink. Checkin only had one person working multiple jobs so there was a bit of a wait.

I love the location of the property. It was very close to everything- the bus stop, train station, Main Street, great restaurants. I also really liked the staff, they were always very friendly and willing to help. We also enjoyed the fact that we could store our ski equipment downstairs right by the door. That was very convenient.

The breakfast is very underwhelming . The hot option is EXTREMELY limited. For the 6 days that we were there, the hot option was only scrambled eggs with either baked beans or dry sausage. I would have appreciated some bacon or mushrooms or some other days. They also had the same fruit salad everyday. The one day we left for skiing around midday and when we came back at night, our room had still not gotten cleaned.

The location was easy to find. All of the staff were happy and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, and they were all very knowledgeable of the area and facilitates. The room was clean, beds very comfortable and it was just the right temperature. Nice touch in the room was the TV being tuned to your language with a welcome message. Breakfast was lovely, with a great variety, being able to cook hot, fresh eggs was an added bonus to us. On the evening only Bar Snacks were served at the bar..... these were delicious and were far from 'snacks'

Having to leave...... Seriously, there is nothing I can think to say negative about this hotel

The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included and had good variety. The rooms were a good size and design and had fridge and kettle. The location was excellent. The hotel even made up a takeaway breakfast bag on our departure because we needed to leave before breakfast time.

The only thing that I could suggest was that the option to get dinner from the hotel was available on more days as other options around the hotel are limited and very expensive.

Second stay at the Bristol. The view of the Matterhorn from our room was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. Staff we helpful. Food selection and quality was great. Room size was iffy. Could have been a bit larger, especially the bathroom. Wish hotels in Europe would have AC. We were there during a heat wave. They did give us a fan which helped a little bit.

No Air conditioning. Had to find someone to get a drink at the bar.

The breakfast provided was WOW! Special shoutout to Ms Karolina who went above & beyond by packing breakfast bags for my family as we had to catch an early train to Geneve Airport. The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of Zermatt. Hotel is just a stone throw to everywhere we wanted to go. Room was super spacious. Long story short - Hotel Bristol is a home away from home ❤️

I tried checking out at 6.30am BUT no one was manning the reception desk. There’s no shuttle till 8am too. I had to drag my huge luggages all the way to the train station. Please ensure at least shuttle & 1 staff is on standby for the early birds like me.
