Lovely breakfast from menu. Hot dishes are cooked to order and are done beautifully. It's a bit remote up a lane, but that is to be expected as it is a farm :) The approach drive to the farmyard is tarmac so don't worry about muddly tracks! The rooms are spotlessly clean and there is great attention to detail with coffee and different teas, biscuits and fresh flowers. The garden is lovely and its great to sit out on the terrace. You can just hear the quacking of the geese and the clucking of the hens, making you look forward to the fresh eggs for breakfast!

Lovely B&B in a beautiful setting, five minutes drive away from the beautiful town and seafront of Sidmouth. This time it was our base to go out for long walks and fossil hunting in Charmouth. Good breakfast, great bed. I can see why many customers rate this place with a ten.

On arrival we were the only guests, but we learned that regular customers would come the next days. So we were placed in the last room on the corridor. The regular CV can’t get this room onto themperature, but an electric heater stood ready to solve this. The shower is hard to mix to the right themperature and what comes out as a result is not impressive.

The location was ideal. Situated just outside, but within easy reach of Sidmouth. The farmhouse is in large grounds where you can sit and relax in the the quiet setting. The large room was very clean and comfortable with lovely views across the coutryside. The breakfast was amazing, and cooked to perfection. Sue and John were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Plenty of space to park your car as well. Definitely worth another visit.

There's nothing we can say that we didn't like.

The location of this farmhouse was beautiful, tranquil, and had “character”. The peace of this area enabled a good nights sleep, and the next day would start well with a superb breakfast. The owners were extremely hospitable and attentive to our needs. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the location could only be reached by a mile or so of narrow country lanes, which occasionally resulted in a variety of things coming towards you, such as other cars, delivery vans, horse riders, motor bikes, etc. However, this is a rural setting, and has to be expected, and there are a few passing points. This is just a small observation.

The location, although remote is very beautiful. The grounds are lovely, with a large garden area. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The whole house was clean. The room was a good size. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom excellent. There was a mini fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea/coffee. There is a good breakfast menu.

There are some very narrow, bendy country lanes to get to the b&b, which can be quite tricky for those not used to them.

The farmhouse is situated in a very peaceful location with a lovely garden. Our breakfast was plentiful with nothing too much trouble for Sue who was a perfect hostess. Didn’t meet her husband but met Smudge the dog, the ducks & chickens! Highly recommended!

Everything was excellent!

A beautiful setting in lovely rolling hills farmland. An attractive character property with well proportioned rooms and lovely views. Comfortable and spacious bedroom and guest sitting room. It was pleasing to have comfortable chairs to relax in the bedroom and plenty of space. We enjoyed seeing the ancient farm buildings to the rear with echoes of a once busy working Devon farm. A very fine house and excellent b and b accommodation.

Our hosts were very friendly helpful and courteous, and made our 3 night stay very comfortable. The breakfasts were glorious, all served in a very professional manner. Our room (bedroom 1) was spacious, comfortable and very quiet (the mini fridge to keep the fresh milk cool, was a nice touch). The location was spot-on for us, making it ideal for touring about. The overall feel of the Farmhouse made us feel very relaxed - So quiet, and we loved the countryside location. We had an evening meal at The Blue Ball Inn, which was really very nice (you'll need to book). We also had an evening meal at The Hare & Hounds, which was also very nice but it was very, very busy (we called in on a Sunday, and you'll definitely need to book).

Nothing, it was all good with everything suiting our needs.

Well presented property in lovely countryside. While breakfast was the only meal provided it was good and filling with "full English" for those wanting it. The proprietor was friendly, helpful and accommodated my own need to have an early breakfast in time for my race.

There was nothing that I didn't like. One small point that I noted a lack of brochures on local amenities and sightseeing options that might prove helpful to those new to the area who have not already done their own research. My trip was out of season and more details may well be available for guests during the main holiday season.

Breakfast was first class. Excellent choice and service. The owners were lovely people and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. All facilities were excellent. Room very comfortable. The extra touches e.g. a small fridge in our room with fresh milk every day for tea and coffee making. We would highly recommend Buckley Farm for a stay near Sidmouth.
