All of the staff throughout my stay were excellent! The lady in Reception allowed me to use my room at 1.30pm to get changed out of my work clothes as it was a very hot day. Car park space was reserved for me. Breakfast was excellent, liked the terrace out the front overlooking the sea. Excellent location with only five minute walk to all shops, pubs and restaurants.

Struggling here, terrace wasn't cleared of cups or glasses when customers had left. Didn't like the one soap fits all in a bottle or no water, I know they are trying to help the environment. Plus some of the fire doors need a little TLC but I am being picky with all of these points.

Great location on the seafront. Very nice residents' lounge and lifts to all floors. There is some parking available (free) but this needs to be reserved in advance. But we were able to reserve a parking space and that is a bonus in this town with limited public parking. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant where the food and service were excellent. Staff are all charming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was very small and not good value for the price paid. The hotel was full this week so there was no opportunity to move. Rooms vary in size, so I recommend checking that the room is a suitable size when you book.

Beautiful location on the seafront. There are plenty of outside tables on a terrace for drinks and relaxing. Large lounge areas with free coffee. Well stocked bar serving nice wines and crisps or nuts. Delicious breakfast with a great cooked menu. Eggs Florentine was superb, thank you 😊 🙏 Some free parking spaces, if any, are available, and you need to ask for one to be reserved on your arrival or pay £8.80 for 24 hours at Manor Rd Car Park. Clean bedroom and bathroom with newly upgraded showers and sanitary ware. Friendly and kind staff, which made my stay more enjoyable. Perfect hotel for the solo traveler and an abundance of returning regulars.

My booking for two nights through Booking.com advertised free parking on site. After securing the single room, I was contacted by the hotel and told that I would be moved to another room for the second night. Also that I couldn't be guaranteed a parking space. The move was to a larger room but meant I was without my own room for 1.5 hours while cleaning the new room. It was an inconvenience, but the staff were very hospitable and managed to reserve a parking space for my second day. I was just happy to have such a great location and comfortable accommodation for two nights during the busy Folk Festival. Thank you, Kingswood Hotel!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, it felt like nothing was too much to ask. We went for my husbands birthday and our first wedding anniversary and we were given a free upgrade when we arrived. The room was lovely, really comfy bed, nice soap in the bathroom. The balcony was perfect to sit and take in the view. Breakfast was delicious, all good quality food, and the staff were also very friendly and hospitable at breakfast. We didn’t have to book a time slot which we liked as we wanted to see how we felt in the morning. We would have loved to have been able to stay longer!!

Would have been a nice touch to have a fridge in the bedroom for fresh milk for the hot drinks!

The position, your very helpful, nice staff. ‘Nice’ people are difficult to come by in this day and age. Friendliness is often not very apparent but it is in the Kingswood.

I’m afraid breakfast suffers from serving too many people so it’s a bit hit and miss. Using generic plastic white and brown bread for toast is disappointing and not necessary and no fish/omelette/avocado options was surprising. No lime for a g&t (minor detail Our room was a little noisey in the night and early morning but to be fair we did book through booking.com so the price was reasonable and we weren’t there for the view!

The room was small but well decorated, the view made up for this as the sea was just across the road. The location was also good being on the front,cant say about parking as I arrived by train/bus. Breakfast was good, I had the full English on both mornings,big helpings plus buffet.

The only thing was that on the second evening a friend joined me for the evening meal, the price was approx £25 each for main course and drink, the food was good but the helpings where a bit small. We thought we where a bit rushed, the meal arrived about two minutes after ordering,so pre-cooked, tthe bill arived wihin seconds of the plates being removed, we where about the only ones left in the dining room but it was not that late,about 8.30. But it did not ruin the meal,so overall ok.

A lovely hotel in a great location and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding and there were some thoughtful touches which made it a very nice stay. I really liked my room after moving and the shower was great.

The bed had a strange hump in the mattress. There was no shaver socket for my toothbrush and a shortage of plug sockets. I would like to have a mini fridge in the room.

I had a single room with en suite shower which was very good and although small was more than adequate for me. It was clean and comfortable and quiet (apart from the seagulls!). The breakfast was very good and the staff very accommodating.

Minor things. There was a dog barking in the next door room, but I informed reception and they dealt with the problem very quickly and rang me back to let me know. Sunday afternoon I wanted to order a drink from the bar but with only one barman on and some visitors that wanted tea and coffee necessitating the barman to keep going to the kitchen, I ended up going to a bar down the road.

We stayed in The Apartment which was lovely. Very clean with all the equipment you would need to be self catering, although we did have breakfast in the hotel. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Only slight niggle was that you couldn’t open the skylights in the two smaller bedrooms as some baby seagulls had managed to get under the netting and would have fallen into the rooms! It was therefore very warm at night time.

Friendly staff, Spacious room, clean hotel, location to beach and shops, easy check in and out and the friendly atmosphere from staff and other guest.

Cooked breakfast bacon was salty and sausage was beef (I like pork) and the bath was not cleaned the whole time we were there (was used on day one and left with the dirt ring for the rest of our stay even though beds were made, bin emptied and towels folded). But I'm sure if I had asked both of these would have been addressed, I just didn't want to make a fuss.
