The room was very clean and modern, the bed comfortable. The staff was answering our questions almost immediately via chat and even came by in order to deal with the matter. The manager was in general very helpful and even allowed us to move rooms, since my company is very sensitive to noise and asked for a quieter room (the issue was noch caused by the hotel). The manager was kind enough to let us move to a bigger room without extra charge since the smaller rooms were all taken. I can't judge the breakfast, since I didn't use it but there was a coffee machine and all and a nice lounge to eat in. Besides that we were also able to reach the city by foot in about 15 minutes. I can really reccomend this hotel.

There was no elevator which can be inconvenient with the luggage since the corridors aren't very large as well. Nevertheless when we arrived, we ran into the manager and he kindly offered to help with the luggage. If one plans to stay a longer time some sort of wardrobe would be nice, I guess.

The location is very nice. I did most of my trips in the city just walking. Which worked perfectly because everything was close. The room itself is very nice and spacious It might lack a refrigerator but just go into town for some food & drinks.

I know it is one of the key features of the concept but I do miss a central reception or personal interaction. Yes, if you have any questions you just send a message and they reply or even come to your door. Not having a 'key' and just a code is also a little weird but also nice because you just can not forget or lose it.

The room rate included breakfast but the breakfast experience was quite awkward: the staff didn’t know how to make coffee, breakfast included some bread and sausage but no toppings or eggs. There were no clean cups as well. The hotel description says there is parking available however there was no further info where this parking can be found. The hotel didn’t respond my question about it either.

The hotel is located in a very old, but well kept and charming building. The rooms have undergone renovation recently, and they looked quite modern (aside from a few cracks in the wall). Our room was spatious, and we didn't have to carry a key around since there is a code lock system both for the front door and the room. There is a grocery store right across the street, and the city centre is also nearby (about a 10 minute walk to the Gravensteen).

The door to our room was hard to close, but that is understandable in such a building.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is good, at walking distance from the city center.

There is no reception or staff at the hotel, and all communication is by email. That is fine, except for the fact that I received ten emails during or 2-day stay with the entrance codes and other information. Also, they changed our room number 1 hour before we checked in, which caused some confusion.

The staff was very responsive, this was highly appreciated. It was warm inside and cosy despite the rainy and cold weather outside. The host turned the heating on straight upon our request.

1. The fishing message from the hotel before arrival. 1 day before arrival I received the message to enter my payment card’s data into the link. It was fake. 2. The check in before 15:00. Despite the fact that it was agreed that we will be checked in before 15:00, the door PIN code was working only starting 15:00. We had to wait at the door for some 30min.

Nice clean place in safe district with clean rooms. We had been quite surprised (in the good way) by the interior of our room. Hotel is self check in, breakfast is basic but alright, kind and nice staff, wifi worked well. Its very close to the city centre, there is food shop just across the street. The best things were that heating had been working well (we traveled in november) and size of the bed. When i travel again to Ghent i would pick up again this place. We had been really happy there.

Location was excellent, only 10 minute walk to all main attractions. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Netflix & apple tv were great to have. Room was bright and warm.

Too many flights of stairs. No staff at reception made it a little unwelcoming. Rooms were not cleaned and bed not made during our stay. The toilet needs to be sound-proofed as it is basically in the living area. The shower and sink are also in the living area. There was enough space to make a bathroom to have all three together in one room, bit of a strange set-up. You have to dry yourself in the living room when you step out of the shower! Small sink in the 'kitchen' but nothing to wash dishes with. A small fridge could be provided. There is a blanket/duvet under the sink with what looks like a blood-stain on it. No handrail on the stairs up to the loft/bed area, very dangerous at night in the dark in an unfamiliar room. Armchairs were not comfortable, a small sofa would be better

I suggested to the property that although they did supply a coffee maker a simple kettle would be helpful as I had no instructions for the simple coffee maker and ruined two hot drinks, a kettle could have meant I could make tea or hot chocolate during my stay.

It would have been good to be able to leave my bag for a few hours before check in and explore the city before checking in

the breakfast was delicious, fresh mini bread, croissants, jams, the hotel itself is really stylish, the manager and stuff are so kind and helpful, the room was tidy and + for the coffee and tea in the room, towels are incredibly big which is great, they are providing shower gel and shampoo, bed was very comfy, the check in is really easy and comfortable, hotel also feels so cozy and safe

our room was different from the one on the pictures, I think it should be stated somewhere that this is not the picture on the exact room, I am a receptionist in the hotel myself so I am aware of more things in the industry but still think this is misleading, I was travelling with my friend and our shower was opened staright into the room so for the privacy we needed to wait for each other outside the room in the hallway, a little complicated solution, the area for the breakfast was really small (just 2 tables) and it was different form the one on the picture too but maybe it was a renovation so thats not a problem
