We were very disappointed that the high and unnecessary fees for coffee, tea and shuttle service (which was not used at all during our 3 days stay) was not disclosed upfront. We brought our own amenities and yet were charged $70 for services not used. Any reputable hotel will let their patrons know of all costs upfront. It put a sour tast in our moth ans we will neither recommend the hotel to anyone nor stay here again.

I ate dinner in the restaurant the first night--great food, excellent service, wonderful ambiance, very positive all the way through. I really liked the rolling display of photos in the main lounge. Wonderful faces, wonderful details, grounding feel of respect and relational connection to the hotel's native rooting. Really a terrific display. Great colors and architecture throughout the building, wonderful window views. The quiet spaces near the elevators are well planned. All the wood, all the motherly design of furniture and art delight the eye and calm the spirit. The bar tenders were attentive and helpful-- at evening's close all I wanted was a cup of hot tea, and each evening one of them found me just what I needed. Your morning coffee is terrific. The coffee on the floor near the elevators was a true delight. The quiet in the halls, the deep calm of the room and your staff was restorative. Staying with you all was a great help to me--I was in SF for a very hard week of emotional and actual support of a family member in great difficulty. Not only were your essays competitive but the experience at the hotel gave me rest and comfort when I needed it. So I thank all of you, from the hotel director to the people cleaning the rooms, to the dining staff and the receptionists. Thank you.

No indication of where one might get evening tea to drink in the room. I enjoyed interacting with the bar tender for the purpose, but I fear I annoyed the reception desk folk asking where I might get tea in the late evening.

I really liked the location and the room was good enough. The property has many features which are nice, restaurant, lounge, etc... the pool was closed so we did not have access.

The parking at the property is too tight. The parking spaces are painted too narrow. It is bad. Housekeeping was not consistent. First two days had no housekeeping. I asked for our trash to be removed, and it was. Then the third day housekeeping came in and made our beds and took out trash but did not replace consumables (shampoo, lotion, etc). It was hard to know when they would do housekeeping and when they would not.

There was food set out in the morning that appeared to be a continental breakfast that I assumed to be complimentary. So, I took two eggs and some coffee. Then someone came by and charged the breakfast to my room. Had I realized I would be paying $15 for two hardboiled eggs and coffee, I would have ordered breakfast off of the menu. Wish someone had made this clear. Other than that, very lovely to be there.

The property was very well maintained an clean.Really like the shuttle service.

I booked my stay through booking.com for the 1st night.I decided to stay another night and went to the front desk to reserve it.The young man said that my room was booked and all they had was a King room for considerably over $225 a night.I said no thanks.I went to my room and looked on my phone and suddenly they had a room available for $137I booked it an went back to the desk and showed him my reservation.He said that was in another building or something and I would have to check out an check in later.Thy woun up moving my luggage that was directly across the hall from the first room.Everything was fine.

The room was large and pretty nice. The hotel is well decorated. It has a homey feel. The front desk let me check in early. That was great seeing that I had to leave at 4am to catch a flight.

The lighting in the bathroom was bad. There were aspects of the room that were cheaply done. There was no coffee maker. The guy that checked me out at 4 am did not seem to know what he was doing. I have still not received a refund for the 85$ amount charged to my card on check in. I understand that part of this is a 21$ fee that is non refundable. I will call to get it straight. I am not sure why I was charged a deposit on what I would spend in the restaurant/ bar. I didn't use either.

The decor of this hotel was Native American. Very colorful and peaceful setting. We stayed in the Junior King Suite. It was clean, comfortable and roomy. Close to the elevator, and a morning coffee was set up in the lobby. Free parking was a bonus. The Happy Hour, 4-6 p.m., was excellent. We enjoyed the beer, wine, and cocktail drinks. Happy Hour included chicken nachos, enchiladas, club sandwiches, and other favorable items. The shuttle to the downtown area was perfect for getting around town.

I think a complimentary continental breakfast would have been a plus.

The hotel has an excellent location close to the Railyard and also offers a free shuttle bus to downtown Santa Fe. It is tastefully decorated, and the fireplace close to the reception area gives off a particularly cozy vibe. Our room was quiet, with a comfortable bed and an updated bathroom. Hotel staff is friendly, and the hotel offers free coffee and tea on every floor in the morning.

It would be great if there were a possibility to choose a room option with breakfast included. The wellness area (outdoor pool and hot tub) was functional but quite limited, and the room furniture is a bit dated.

The Amaya restaurant was really good; as was the happy hour drinks and food! We ate there 4 times for Breakfast and Supper. The atmosphere in bar/dining area was very relaxed and low key. We enjoyed the ambience and music after busy day! The British cab and bus shuttle, as well as the drivers, were wonderful additions to getting to places nearby! We needed some medicine and the driver got my husband to drug store and went in with him to help find what he needed.

The room furniture is outdated and room is not well lit. We paid for a Santa Fe King Suite and I'm not sure we got it as it was supposed to be bigger than Picuris King Suite. Again not sure but living area and bedroom were quite small. The bedroom reminded me of size of hotel rooms in Europe; about 18" between bed and wall. My understanding was there was to be a balcony on upper floors. We did not have one on 2nd floor just a window looking out on the roof. After changing suites once, we just didn't want the hassle of another change. It is dog friendly which is not my thing. Most people's dogs were huge and behaved but there was one dog who owner didn't control well and it leapt up on waiter passing by and licked the plate. Yuk!!!

It was a lovely hotel and had a very authentic, adobe feel. It snowed while we were there and we did not expect snow at all, nevermind in November. They were kind enough to give us an ice scraper for our car. We loved being able to hang out on the balcony and have a separate living room for our use. Absolutely loved that they have a complimentary coffee and tea bar on every floor. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the food looked really good and the atmosphere was very nice. The hotel was the perfect place to cozy up for a couple of nights during a snowstorm! Since you asked for things we didn't like, there were just a couple of tiny suggestions for improvement: We arrived late on the first night and it a cold outside. We had to ring the doorbell a few times to finally be let in. We wished the guy plowing the parking lot could have helped us broom the foot and a half of snow off of our rental car - and we would have happily paid him. Most of us visiting had rental cars and were not equipped to deal with snow.

Everything was fabulous!
