It was lovely that we could sit outside our room and enjoy the fresh air and peace and quiet.......we were there with a group of 20 friends and family two lodge rooms, 3 pull through trailers, and 1 cabin. The pool was lovely and we used it twice while we were there.

The mini fridge and microwave should not be below hanging clothes and the fan in the bathroom should not be connected to the light. The fan was very loud and should be put on as needed. No cell phone communication. We were there with 20 and it was difficult to coordinate due to no cell phone service. You should consider renting walkie talkies to large groups like ours. We rented a golf cart that made getting around easier.

Location was easy to access and BEAUTIFUL Facility was exceptionally well kept Staff was obnoxiously friendly and helpful Restaurant and ice cream parlor were clean and food was tasty and not overly expensive

Bed mattress was not comfortable to me, but was fine for hubby and daughter Iron content in water was “interesting”

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast room was fine - nothing special but it had fresh fruit and some items that met our needs. The room was very nice, balcony, and the setting was gorgeous. There were so many things to do we did not get to take advantage of but looked very fun. We did enjoy the hot tub briefly

If we had more time there. We did not really comprehend how much there was to do when we booked it. We also were on a long trip and so had to keep moving forward, but it seemed like a fun place for a longer stay

It’s a really nice place you can just relax if you want, or there are things you can do, like pickle ball, basketball, a nice pool. Rent a bike, or APV. Trail rides.

The lighting in the rooms is terrible, we both like to read and the lamps in the rooms don’t put out adequate lighting to read. We went out on the balcony to read during the day.

The location was amazing!!! Having a restaurant, stores and bar on site was simply the best!

Only thing that could change is the hot tub situation. The hot tub was always filled with small children using it as a pool. I can understand kids wanting to be in it but parents should be required to be in there with their children. At one point there were 26 kids in it causing my husband and I to have to leave.

Nice room. Very clean. Decent continental breakfast.

Would have been nice to know that the lodge was gearing up to close within the week. No access to pool or hot tub as they had already been drained. Cute little shops on site were already closed for the season. Would have stayed in town if had known there was no where to eat at property. The bathroom fan and light were operated with the same switch. The fan was VERY loud.

Loved all the amenities for the kids! Pancake breakfast was so fun too!

Thought there could b more bathrooms in the public areas. When one is closed for cleaning then u have a long walk to find another one. The golf cart rental could be better as far as the number of guest allowed on a cart. A family of 6 with 4 of them being small kids are not going to rent two carts to get around. Shouldn’t count kids under 3 years of age

Nice clean pool/hot tub, pickle ball & basketball courts, location (close to Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, & Big Chief Crazy Horse), nice to have free passes to National Presidential Wax Museum and Holy Terror Mini Golf in Keystone, clean rooms and nice patio for sitting and overlooking the property, friendly staff, coffee & creamer available all day

Dim lighting in room, TV issues (maintenance resolved though), breakfast (cereal, bagels, English muffins, fruit, yogurt) wasn’t a hot continental breakfast for the amount of the stay I expected more, however we didn’t starve😊, expensive food and extra amenities (horseback riding was $55/person for an hr trail ride making it not affordable for a family to go), restaurant closed early, weight room was minimal, skimpy on the bedding (thin comforter)

The location is great and the pool was a nice temperature for mid September.

I had booked a room with a balcony and requested a first floor. We were on the third floor and did not have a balcony although the lodge appeared to have plenty of rooms available. Also, it was not shared that rooms would not be cleaned daily and we were to put towels/trash in the hallway and pick up clean towels at the front desk. It also would have nice to know that many of the attractions/amenities close up Labor Day weekend.

Room was nice, beds were comfortable. WIFI was spotty but most of the time worked (even if a little slow).

The water was brown looking. I used bottled water but still had to take a shower in the "brown water".
