Proximity to Mount Rushmore. If you enjoy shopping in tourist spots this is right off the main road. Views were decent. Accomplished our goal.

They wouldn’t address the choice points issue. Didn’t need the points, but wanted my account associated with the stay even if booking third party. Renovations were done incrementally. A bit dated. Humidity in our room was super high even after having the windows open. Would’ve left them open overnight, but we were on the ground floor and there was foot traffic and road traffic ongoing.

The lobby was beautifully decorated. The room was very spacious. We asked for extra towels & they were handed to us upon arrival. The parking was great. We needed a disability parking & it was @ the front of the building. Great parking spaces. They had survellance. Very safe. The breakfast was awesome. It was the BEST breakfast we had on our whole trip. It was absolutely delicious. They had real eggs, canadian bacon, biscuits & gravy. The coffee was really good too. On our way out I picked up some fruit and some sealed orange juice was offered by the staff. Very nice of her to do that. This was a beautiful place to stay. The staff was very friendly. I am so grateful for the great experience.

The front desk staff was very friendly and informative when we arrived! We found the hot tub and pool to be wonderful after a long weekend of traveling. We were pleasantly impressed with the breakfast we were served in the morning. Overall would definitely stay here again!

The room itself was a bit musty and dark. We knew what the feel of the hotel would be when we booked so we weren’t expecting anything very modern. Our biggest issue was the lack of lighting in the room, but that wasn’t the end of the world.

The ambiance and decor are amazing. The rustic feel is authentic. Our room for our needs, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room size was just right for us. They were able to accommodate our request for a ground floor room as we have young hyperactive kids and we didn't want to impose on other guests with their kids noises and stumping feet had we been on the second floor or higher. The reception staff are amazing as well. They checked us in smoothly. They went above and beyond to give us a military discount. They made sure we were taken care of. We want to give a shout out to Brittany, John and their GM Cassie (who even mailed me the receipt for the discount!). They set a high bar for those who work in this industry! The breakfast had a great selection, we were stuffed. They had a nice breakfast set up. Extra tables and chairs were in the lobby should they be needed. But they did not detract from the decor, they were tucked in corners-very cozy. It was walking distance to the sights and places to see in their town. The town itself had a lot to offer. The hotel also let us leave out car, after we checked out already so we could ride the sightseeing train up and down the next town over. They had many amenities as well. We didn't have the time to take Ananya of all of them but the gas an indoor pool and jacuzzi, laundry facilities, vending machines, and others. The staff are there if you need anything at all and they make sure you have what you need right away. What more could you ask for? This hotel is amazing. I'm glad we picked this place!

Everything was fine, the location, the room that was big and clean and the excellent breakfast with lots of choice. We really enjoyed our stay at this place.

The bathtub was very slippery and there was nothing to hang on to but a handle outside the tub. I mentioned it to the staff in charge who suggested to put a towel. Something should be done about it. Most hotels have a rubber mat and so they should. It is a pity because the bathroom looked brand new.

Loved the location! Central to many sites in/around the Black Hills & Custer State Park. The hotel is beautiful inside - looked like a mountain lodge. Comfortable bed. Restaurants are a short walk from the hotel & serve delicious bison burgers, for those that are interested. Definitely would stay there again!

Coffee in the lobby was often cold. Only one elevator, but surprisingly that wasn't a problem.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn. Our room was clean, beds were very comfortable, we had hard time waking up. Breakfast was good. Location of the Inn is very good, you can walk to downtown, where all the little shops and food places are. We even walked all the way to the wax museum, which was really interesting, there's also mini golf right next to. The check in desk is open 24 hrs.

I have stayed at many hotels that provide a continental breakfast service. The breakfast provided was absolutely wonderful: varied choices, hot, and tasty. June, the kitchen manager was on top of it all. The rapport that she established with her customers via her service was exceptional. I hope that management realizes that folks that return to Comfort Inn will no doubt do so, largely on account of June and her dedication to quality! Thanks June!

It was a little dated, elevator was slow, top dryer did not work, when I told the front desk, they said they knew, didn’t offer to give me additional quarters but let me give them cash for change and told me to use the bottom dryer. But room was clean and it was very close to town. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not good - for the cost of the room, it could have been better

Breakfast was good, plenty of it and convenient before sightseeing. Nice room. Helpful staff. Near restaurants and shopping. Located not far from Mount Rushmore.

A bit of an issue at check-in but it was resolved. Staff was apologetic about the issue and made sure we were taken care of. That’s all you can ask for in such a case and we are more than satisfied. THANKS SO MUCH !
