My husband (who eats meat) loved the breakfast options, through a little more variety would have been great. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and the highlight of our stay. Room was big and TV options plenty when you want to come back from a day of explore and just chill out. The location is also superb. Mount Rushmore is 15 mins or less of a drive, but you are also about an hour or 2 from places like Custer, Badlands, etc and the drives were all pretty straightforward and easy to do.

The room as a whole likely needs an upgrade and was quite dark with the curtains drawn. We had no possibility of natural light and had to use the room lights instead. The shower never got HOT after a cold day of being out and exploring. Lastly, the hot breakfast were not vegan or vegetarian friendly so it was cold options or a biscuit. Would be great to have/see more of a variety.. even some home fries or potato something would have helped.

Great location with easy short walk to Keystone, Grapes and Grind (great coffee house!), and great proximity to local attractions, of which there are many. Special shout-out for the Crazy Horse Memorial!, as well as the Black Hills and Custer State Park. Suggest you visit Mt Rushmore at night for the outdoor movie and lighting ceremony. Spacious room, comfortable beds, good shower and good water pressure. Clean room and very friendly staff. Breakfast included hot and cold offerings. Free coffee and an iced water cooler were 'on tap' all day. Didn't use the pool of spa, but they looked great. This seems like it would be a great family hotel.

The breakfast was awesome, but staff was having a hard time keeping everything stocked. A great selection of biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, link sausage, apples and bananas, 3 different breads for toast, mini muffins (chocolate chip only), oatmeal, choice of cold cereal, yogurt, milk and assorted juices.

The only drawback was no pancake or waffle machine, which grandkids were looking forward to and only bread for toast (no bagels or English muffins). There were adults in the swim area that were drinking alcohol in the hot tub and swimming pool. A bottle was broke in the pool and no one seemed to care.

Staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet, and I was able to do a little bit of laundry. We were on the second floor and there were chairs placed outside the rooms where you could sit and watch people on the zip line a block or so away. It's near the 1880 train depot which is a fairly short, fun trip. Plenty of shopping nearby with great deals on t-shirts and gifts. The hot tub and pool were clean. Breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc.

This was a super cute hotel. We were not sure what to expect when we saw the outside but were pleasantly surprised with the inside. The pool room was great, and the breakfast was pretty good. Our suite was huge and very clean. It came complete with a kitchenette, dining table, and living room.

We wanted this suite for our 5 person family because there was enough beds, however, the bunk bed was so unstable we opted not to put our children on it. There was a couch we utilized instead so it wasn't the end of the world.

I didn't like that I did not ask for housekeeping, but they showed up anyway and walked in while my mom was on the bathroom toilet. And they're not supposed to come in unless I set them and schedule them. I was not happy about that because I was not in the room at the time

They ran out of everything and didn't have any fresh fruit. Orange were dated and old. The staff were nice, but the food was empty most of the time I went down there.

Free parking, breakfast included in the rate. Location to entertainment and food and drink. Pool and Gym on site not used but looked good from what we could see. Internal access to some rooms available. Queen bed suite excellent size.

Small breakfast room for number of guests. Soft mattress and soft pillows. TV in sitting area could be bigger due to the size of the mantle it was on. If you were sitting in the armchair, you did not have a good view of the screen

Located minutes away from Mr. Rushmore, in the heart of Keystone, SD> The King Suite was very spacious with 2 full bathrooms and 2 bunk beds for my kids. It also had a nice sitting area. The breakfast had a decent variety with both warm and cold food. Warm food included eggs, biscuits, gravy and sausage. Cold food included yogurt, cereal options, baked goods like mini muffins.

It was a very well maintained hotel. The room sizes were large. The breakfast included was very good! The front desk staff was over-the-top. They had a terminal malfunction that caused our credit cards to show as issues. They still allowed us into our rooms for the night, and when we checked out the next morning, their response to the problem and their service to us was outstanding! They were very skilled in problem solving!

It was close to Rushmore and a short walk to everything in hill city. Room was comfortable

Breakfast was the same all 3 mornings we were there powdered eggs canned sausage gravy and biscuits no waffles maker some variations would be nice we had a whirlpool suite but tub looked dingy like it needed a good deep clean so we didn’t use the rest of the room was clean
