My husband (who eats meat) loved the breakfast options, through a little more variety would have been great. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and the highlight of our stay. Room was big and TV options plenty when you want to come back from a day of explore and just chill out. The location is also superb. Mount Rushmore is 15 mins or less of a drive, but you are also about an hour or 2 from places like Custer, Badlands, etc and the drives were all pretty straightforward and easy to do.

The room as a whole likely needs an upgrade and was quite dark with the curtains drawn. We had no possibility of natural light and had to use the room lights instead. The shower never got HOT after a cold day of being out and exploring. Lastly, the hot breakfast were not vegan or vegetarian friendly so it was cold options or a biscuit. Would be great to have/see more of a variety.. even some home fries or potato something would have helped.

Staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet, and I was able to do a little bit of laundry. We were on the second floor and there were chairs placed outside the rooms where you could sit and watch people on the zip line a block or so away. It's near the 1880 train depot which is a fairly short, fun trip. Plenty of shopping nearby with great deals on t-shirts and gifts. The hot tub and pool were clean. Breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc.

This was a super cute hotel. We were not sure what to expect when we saw the outside but were pleasantly surprised with the inside. The pool room was great, and the breakfast was pretty good. Our suite was huge and very clean. It came complete with a kitchenette, dining table, and living room.

We wanted this suite for our 5 person family because there was enough beds, however, the bunk bed was so unstable we opted not to put our children on it. There was a couch we utilized instead so it wasn't the end of the world.

I didn't like that I did not ask for housekeeping, but they showed up anyway and walked in while my mom was on the bathroom toilet. And they're not supposed to come in unless I set them and schedule them. I was not happy about that because I was not in the room at the time

They ran out of everything and didn't have any fresh fruit. Orange were dated and old. The staff were nice, but the food was empty most of the time I went down there.

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Was traveling with our 3 oldest grands (all teens). Got the room with 2 queens and bunk beds was very large with plenty of space.

Couldn’t get the tv in living room to work. It was direct tv and all channels showed not available. Staff came dow and got a few channels working stated it was the box and manager would have to call direct tv for reset.

The view from my room was very nice. The hotel was close enough to walk to the town’s attractions and a three mile drive to Mount Rushmore. The breakfast was very good and there was ‘round the clock coffee.

There was a zip line thing across the street. There was a lot of screaming while people rode it. It was just in the daytime, but it was a bit annoying.

Room was awesome. Loved having the separate bedroom so that we could sit and relax in the living area instead of on a bed. Very comfortable! I enjoyed working on the puzzle that you had outside the breakfast room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I wish the breakfast had eggs every day as an option and more bakery type items. Also, the layout was kind of all over the place. Silverware should have been over by the toaster area as several people were looking all over for it in that area. They also need to do heavier plates for the items that use syrup or gravy. Also, garbage more visible. Food items that were offered were good just could use a few more.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were very professional! The room was clean and in order. The continental breakfast was incredible! Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravel, cereal and milk, muffins and fruit! The staff was incredible!!! Centrally located which makes it easy to visit each surrounding area!

Everything was fantastic!

Staff was super friendly & helpful. The room which was listed as a budget room was large & very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely pick this hotel to stay at again.

The only downside was the elevator happened to be out of service. Not a big deal for us but could have been a problem for more elderly guests.

The property was older but very well kept. It had a nice charm and was in a great location.

The staff at the front desk was not super friendly, and it seemed there was something off. The morning of our departure my husband went to the front desk to get some change to leave the cleaning staff a small tip. The front desk person started acting very strange and desperately wanted to get into our room before my husband when he learned about the tip. The head housekeeper, or so the front desk guy called her, was in an open room just off the front desk and could overhear the whole thing but she did not acknowledge anything happening around her even when the front desk guy pointed her out. There was something not right going on of which I do not understand. It was very strange and left us with an uneasy feeling.
