Fantastic location for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We couldn't believe how quiet it was, given the fact that it was the week of the rally. Gretchen the lady who checked us in, must have a bit of British blood in her, the banter was just fantastic, she made the parting of 1600 US dollars almost painless. The room had everything that you needed for a good night's kip. The hotel's location is just perfect, you can literally walk out of the front door, and you're on the main street, where there are lots of places to eat, and look at all the bikes parked up. I love Keystone as it's got bags of character, and it's right where all the attractions are. We were there for 11 nights and we couldn't fault it. When we left, I mentioned to Gretchen that we were heading to Sioux Falls, she advised us not to miss the falls at Sioux Falls, and we didn't. So Gretchen, if you're reading this, thanks for the recommendation, we loved it.

The internet was rather slow to say the least, but we didn't come here for the internet. Just something to be mindful of, if super fast internet is important to you.

Great location in the middle of the town and close to Mount Rushmore and a good point to start exploring the surrounding attractions. Clean and large rooms, parking available on site. A special mention for the ladies at the front desk. We had a problem with the car rental and all of them were so kind and helpful. We will never forget such kindness and will recommend the structure to everyone. Thank you again.

The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The host was friendly and helpful, which made my experience even better. Definitely a good choice for anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

The only small thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t filtered water or bottled water provided. They mentioned I could use the coffee machine water if I cared about filtration, but it would have been nicer to have it ready.

The location for this hotel is probably one of the best in Keystone. I could walk right into the heart of the town within fifty feet. The room were older rooms, but taken care of. The cleanliness was a 95%. A few missed spots on the walls with a UV light. There was no breakfast. I would stay at this place again due to its location alone. Niceeee!!!

Location was perfect. Only 6 minutes from Mount Rushmore.

They canceled doing any kind of breakfast two days before we left to go there. That was one main reason why I booked it was for the continental breakfast. Absolutely no cleaning of the room the two days we were there. I noticed they were not cleaning rooms until someone checked out. You just don't do that if you want good ratings. I might consider staying there again if all that was fixed. Maybe put a microwave in the rooms also.

Everyone was so nice, the location was unbelievable. Loved it. Loved walking around the little town.

I didn’t really see a downside besides the stairs. Not a terrible problem but I am old. So if you need the first floor call earlier than we did. (I messed up the reservation so we walked in without one, and got a room, which was amazing)

Comfortable beds, clean room, and bathroom. Great location, in walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Musty smell in the room, noisy air conditioner.

We arrived late, after the office closed, the front desk clerk called to check on us. He left the keys where we could self check in, this was so much better than arriving to a closed office! Location to Rushmore is great.

Outside in the middle of updates to flooring. Room took a while to cool down as the air was off when we first got into the room.

Clean, large room, well located for our activities in the black hills. Perfect for visiting Mount Rushmore and a lovely town with great atmosphere and places to eat.

The receptionist was very friendly and answered our questions and gave us tips on the area. We had breakfast at the Backporch restaurant as recommended, and it was delicious. The steam engine train ride was also right down the street.
