Location was great, room was really lovely- very clean, large and with a very practical little ‘kitchen’ (kettle, milk, tea and coffee, and fridge). Owner was delightful- full of positive energy, very friendly and obviously a ‘host’, meaning it it clear she loves what she is doing. Breakfast was great- variable, ample and delicious. Overall, a really lovely place.

The staff member who checked us in was a little the opposite of the owner- far from friendly until, after showing us around the whole property we introduced ourselves and he warmed slightly. We had to buzz to get in several times and when he arrived in a car he just walked straight past us- we didn’t know he was staff. It was a quite strange. There was a lot of noise at night from the common area, but, disappointingly, I think it was from staff rather than guests. If so, I don’t think that’s really acceptable. We struggled to sleep because of it.

- Caroline is such a kind person and the perfect host - she is going above and beyond for her guests (great tips for restaurants, activities etc.; very friendly and attentive; and special thanks again for "saving" our beaver - super delicious breakfast (very tasty, made upon individual request, plenty of fresh products and fruits) - very clean and welcoming - joint "living room" is well equipped with dart, pool table, board games, toys, and so much more - great team spirit, very appreciative and cheerful atmosphere among host and staff

- smell of diesel in our bathroom during/after load shedding (fingers crossed that load shedding times are over soon)

The location was perfect for us, it was near town and main restaurants, and near central beach and so many other beautiful lookout points. It has a homely and warm feel to it, all the staff are friendly and the owner Caroline creates the magic in the place. She is hands on and ensures her guests are comfortable and feel at home. She shares places to visits, arranges transport, makes the breakfasts, sorts out the TV stations and is hands on.

There are various sizes of rooms when you book for a long stay make sure you book a self-catering or bigger room as the smaller ones are for shorter stays. It is not a hotel so dont book if you expect it to be run like one. I

Comfortable Guesthouse, spacious room with kitchenette where is everything you can need for self catering. Room was clean, comfortable bed for sleep. Reception staff was very nice, welcoming and showed all the facilities and gave recommendations where to dine around. Breakfast was delicious- variety of fruits, cereals, different types of eggs, pancakes. Unfortunately it was heavy raining so we couldn’t use pool and have a walk around.

Everything was great

This was a last-minute booking. I was sceptical because of the price. But it was well worth it. The rooms were great. They were clean, and the beds were super comfy. I was travelling with kids, and the games room was a pleasant surprise. There were different options for breakfast, and we all tried something different. We were well-rested and ready for the drive home. Wonderful host. Highly recommended.

No issues

Staff were fantastic, French toast for breakfast 👍. Laundry service very helpful and great value. Very good recommendations given for restaurants & things to visit. Feel guilty giving it 8 but South Africa has given us great accommodation across the board so far. I wish England had this quality/value for money.

Location great for popping to town but lacks kerb appeal.

A great little spot in Plet, easy to walk to all restaurants and cafés. The rooms were nice, beautifully decorated and clean. Breakfast deserves a mention; plentiful and served with a smile by the owner. There is a locked gate from the garden, for easy walk into town. No need to use the main entrance.

Quite noisy from the other rooms at breakfast time, but we were up anyways. No hot water first night due to a tripped circuit breaker, but offered hot showers in an adjacent room, so no drama. Well handled!

I loved the decor and loved the fact that as a business woman I was able to see whilst doing my make up and hair. I had access to plugs near a mirror with good light which is hard to find in a lot of places. Loved my bathroom which also had very good light. Bed was super comfortable for a good nights sleep and enjoyed my coffee in the morning. The breakfast was great and staff very friendly as well. Loved playing with the resident cat as well! What a cutie! Great stay and if I pass through the area again will definitely book here again.

There was a a realy good buffet breakafast . Great location, close to amenities and close approximately 5 minute drive to Central beach. Most friendly and helpful staff ever. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable.I was very pleased with my stay

There was not enough parking for our cars. I had to parked on the road on my first night. So the parking is first come, first serve basis. The area seemed to be safe though as there were other cars parked on the road on the neighbourhood.

It was just an overnight stop for us but perfectly suited our needs. Lovely warm welcome from John. Light bright modern room , comfy bed , nice bathroom and we could walk to a restaurant in town. Wall panels kept the room cozy on a cold winters night. Plunger coffee provided. Great value for money even though we left early and didn't have the breakfast.
