Room was lovely and quiet, great bath, room was all in order with good facilities. Great that there was an elevator, desk staff 24/7 who were very nice. Kept my bags for me whilst I waited for my train back to the north. Breakfast was great, just a little claustrophobic being in the basement.

The only thing I didn’t like was the brash, typically rude, Parisian woman working on the breakfast. She scared the life out of me when asking for my room number with her x100 volume voice! Then proceeded to tell me NOT TO PUT MY PLATE WHERE THE BREAD IS CUT! So rude! Don’t let this woman be front of house. Not an asset to the hotel at all.

Location, staff was nice

Made me pay extra to be on a lower floor, I had a lot of luggage and they placed me on a floor where the elevator did not reach. I requested to be moved lower but had to pay extra for this. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

I loved the staff on the front desk especially Beatrix I think. All spoke good english and gave good advice on the metros and other local attractions. Price was fair value. The vibe and ambience was great! Loved the cold water and bottles to put it in and the free pastries in the lobby. Location was good, close to Gare du Nord and Gare d'est. Within a 20 min walk of the Pompidou Centre and Notre Dame and 35 min at most from Sacre Core. There was a nice wee street bar just mins from the hotel. Room was small but nice and quiet

Room could have been a shade bigger but really nothing, I loved the place

This is the second time we stay there. The staff is super friendly and the Italian soda and coffee in the lobby 24/7 are lovely touches. The rooms are cosy and some of them have balconies, which, well, obviously I don’t need to add anything: balconies in Paris. You’re super close to Gare de l’Est and the canal.

The water in the shower doesn’t maintain its temperature and there could be more hooks for towels in triple rooms, but that’s only a small blemish because everything else is really awesome.

Nice location. Good for short stay. Good service , friendly staff. Clean and tidy.

Room is too small for couple.

The style of the room was pretty! We were popped into the top room (attic room), which just gave it so much charm, with smaller windows in the ceiling as skylights, but this gave a beautiful view of the skyline of Paris as if from a movie. Bed was comfy. The bathroom was very functional and clean. Staff were always happy to help. But quiet but helpful. Free coffee was a bonus and comp water from reception. Pretty close to the main station, Charles De Gaulle. Would happily stay here again and already plan on.

Only thing was the location ever so slightly. Little further down then originally thought from the station but it was pretty close to metro links.

The staff is very friendly, and the location is great, being close to the station where you can catch the bus or metro to all the city's amenities. The room and bathroom were very small, but they were more than enough and clean as well.

It was cold inside the bathroom because the window didn’t seem to be airtight, and a lot of cold air came through, making it uncomfortable to take a shower. The room heating system wasn’t working properly as well. However, we really appreciated the receptionist, who, late at night, brought us an extra heater. It was a great solution, and the room became warm and comfortable. He also offered us free breakfast for the inconvenience.

The breakfast was plentiful and varied with fruit and yogurt as well as bread, pastries, pancakes eggs, ham and sausage and more. The staff were all friendly, professional and welcoming. There is a lift which is great for luggage but you can also work out by climbing the stairs which is great for a gentle cardio work out. It is a 15 minute walk to or from the Gare du Nord and even quicker to the Gare de L'Est. The breakfast room was being decorated (after the end of each service) so we were able to see the progress made each day and admire the workmanship.

The coffee was a bit thin.

It was tiny (standard for Paris I think) but good and clean. Staff were friendly. Location is okay, not far from 2 metro stations (take care near Chateau D’eau station, we felt unsafe there) and the restaurant across the road is divine. Getting construction done at the moment which we didn’t know about but we didn’t hear a single thing!

The hotel had a very bad smell as soon as you walked in the doors. Thankfully we couldn’t smell it at all in our room but as soon as we opened our door we could.

The location was perfect for me. Walking distance to Nord and Est train stations, Montmartre and Louvre but convenient for public transit. Longest ride was to the Eiffel which was still good. Great restaurants across the street and around the corner. The canal is a short walk away and a lovely place to go for a walk or wander. Staff are super friendly and helpful and there is an elevator. Single room is small but has all that's needed and the bed is comfortable. I had to take the dog on short walks late at night and I felt quite safe.

No sound proofing that I experienced. I was woken up by loud next door neighbours regularly. Would have been quiet otherwise.
