As always we had a warm welcome, clean room and excellent breakfast. The hosts are a wonderful couple and although the gentleman that normally cooks has some health issues, his partner still ensured we had a wonderful breakfast cooked to perfection. He even went out of his way to make me a lovely hot chocolate from his personal kitchen as they didn't have any in the pub.
there is nothing we dislike about staying at The Kings Arms. this was our 3rd stay and will not be the last

Mike, one of the landlords, was also the chef. We had one evening meal and four superb breakfasts, all of which were excellent. All the staff were very friendly. All in all, it couldn't have been better.
Nothing. It all suited us perfectly. If I'm nit- picking, I could say our room was on the snug side, something Mike actually said to me himself! However, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and we were very happy with what we got.

The whole experience from arriving at the property to leaving was exceptional. I travel often, but have never had the service I received here. Everyone I came in contact with was welcoming, friendly and ready to help in any way they could. The accommodation was, as it says in the advertising, a typical rural English pub - but was also so much more, exceptionally well-cared for - bags of atmosphere and very comfortable. Meals were exceptional. Located in the centre of a lovely village, nestling in the heart of rural England. I most certainly will stay here again if I am in the area - and would not hesitate to recommend the Kings Arms to anyone.
Can honestly say there was nothing I didn’t like - not often able to use that phrase.

It was a great village pub.. We had been at Burleigh Horse Trials every day, and just wanted to come back , have a couple of drinks and dinner. The pub was ideal for this
Typical pub food, and perhaps a couple of options other than chips would have been brilliant. Please can you sort out the bathroom door and the shower.

Easy to find. Excellent food, well priced. The fisherman’s pie I had for supper was one of the best I’ve ever tasted!
Set a 7.15 breakfast as had to get away before 8 but didn’t get food until 7.45 so had to bolt my breakfast and run. I realise it was a staff sickness issue but this wasn’t mentioned until very late on. Room was very hot (due to the weather) but only a tiny bit at the top of the window could be opened. Maybe a fan could be put in during hot weather.

A great stay in a very lovely location. The room was nice if small, but the bed was extremely comfortable. Thoughtful extra touches like access to fresh milk. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The pub itself is a very nice village pub. Plenty of parking available onsite and it felt very secure and well managed.

A lovely pub in a pretty village with a lovely large green space at the back to relax with a drink in the evening. We received a warm welcome from the lovely host who cooked us a tasty veggie breakfast both days we were there. We felt at home because of the friendly service. We appreciated the tasteful decor and the comfortable beds in our rooms.
I am allergic to dust and experienced an allergic reaction in my room,, probably from the feather pillows. With hindsight I should have mentioned this to our host, who, I'm sure, would have supplied me with hyper allergenic pillows. The inside of my bedside cupboard was also a little dusty.

Mark was very accommodating as we were running very late we couldn’t arrive before 9.30pm and he personally greeted us with a cold J20 very refreshing on such a hot sunny day we had been through. What a lovely cooked English breakfast we had as well in the morning prepared by Mark again superb
Clean tidy very comfortable

Beautiful English pub with a comfy bed and quiet room considering its location. The included delicious breakfast was freshly made and the service was wonderful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, as were the locals. The wifi was excellent. Belvoir Castle nearby was worth a visit.
Unfortunately the view was not very pleasant, considering the beautiful countryside.

The accommodation was spotless, the location was peaceful and the hosts were delightful. The bed was incredibly comfortable, so much so that I slept through way past breakfast time!! Special mention for the bath towels which were extra large!!! The Kings Arms will be my first choice of accommodation when visiting the area again.
Nothing to dislike.
