Loved the location of this hostel. Didn’t have an issue parking either. Staff was super friendly and everything was clean and well taken care of. Check in is super smooth and you’re provided with free towel and linen. Bear spray for rent or buy as well. Shared living area has great views and very comfy feel.

AC didn’t work so was a bit hot. There was nothing in the bathrooms to dry off hands instead of blow dryer. Oh and they lock the kitchen which is very inconvenient if you need to leave early or late because you can’t take your food. I understand they don’t want you to use it but not being able to access is a bit odd to me.

This was the first time that I've stayed in a hostel - and it was quite the experience! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were also very clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. Although I didn't use it, the kitchen area seemed very well equipped and stocked. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the shops and Enterprise car hire! It also really helped having shops right near the hostel, and you can park your car right outside for free.

Honestly, there wasn't an awful lot I didn't like! I guess being a hostel, a lot of people pass through there for any length of time, and on occasion, there may also be some unsavoury characters. There may have been one or two that made me feel uneasy, but on the whole, everyone seemed nice.

VERY clean with regular cleaning everyday. The front desk people are kind and helpful with knowledge of the area. Its very spacious, especially the main public area. Location is great. Many walking distance restaurants and stores, and bus stop to banff is just outside. 6 showers and 6 toilets were available, so I didn’t run into any wait times. Linens and towels are provided for free. (Being your own toiletries)

I wish the kitchen didn’t close overnight. It would be nice to be able to access my snacks/drinks in the fridge when i wake up early or arrive late. Also note there is no freezer. I also found the pillows to be a bit uncomfortable and firm, but thats just me being picky. Overall a great and recommended affordable stay!

Great location. Small lockers available for shoes at entrance (must bring your own lock.) Bins are available to place groceries on shelves in kitchen. Small lockers available in kitchen (must bring your own lock.) Kitchen has large refrigerator area for your groceries. Large storage cabinet next to bed (must bring your own lock.) Underground parking felt safe and very secure.

Washer and dryer cost at minimum $3 each cycle. Pillow could have been better/fluffier. More hooks would be appreciated.

The hostel is very well designed and well managed. One of the best. My only discomfort was the air becoming stuffy in the dormitory. Due to someone closing the only window during the night. A minimum amount of default ventilation should be guaranteed in dormitories containing several occupants.

The hostel is well located, with parking available (vehicle registration required at the front desk). It offers a range of rooms, including private suites designed for guests with accessibility needs. The shared spaces are spacious, clean, and well-organized. Kitchens are fully equipped, though fridge space can be limited during busy seasons. All bedding and towels provided are clean and neatly arranged. A standout feature is the bed design in shared dorms: each one includes a shelf, personal power outlets, a reading light, and a curtain that adds privacy and blocks light — a small detail that makes a significant difference. Pro tip for shared rooms: Bring earplugs and a sleep mask to ensure a restful night.

My stay at this hostel in Canmore was absolutely perfect. From the moment I arrived, the receptionists were super friendly and helpful – they made me feel right at home. They also gave me great tips on nearby hikes and local spots to eat (definitely ask them if you're not sure where to start!). The bed was really comfortable – perfect after a full day of outdoor adventures. But the best part? The views. I had a room with a window facing the mountains and waking up to that scenery each morning was just breathtaking. If you can, try to get a room with mountain views – it adds something really special to the experience. The hostel was clean, cozy, and had a relaxed vibe that made it easy to meet other travelers. Plus, it’s in a great location – close to the town center and with easy access to amazing trails. I’d absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Canmore. It’s a great base whether you're into hiking, skiing, or just relaxing and soaking in the views. Highly recommend!

The staff were all really helpful, from allowing me to check in early to local recommendations and answering all of my questions. The room was really clean, with a fantastic view of the mountains. The bunk beds were solid with a little reading light and charging ports, plenty of room in the lockers and I really liked the curtains around each bed. The kitchen was big with industrial sized fridges, plenty of hobs to cook on and plenty of utensils also very clean. Overall this is a big, bright and friendly hostel located in a great place.

Maybe a freezer for frozen food.

Location is the best part, and what a price! I couldn’t ask for anything more than that. I mean, Banff area is too costly and even Canmore is no less, but property at this rate is so good, and they clean the washroom and room every day. Staff always has a smile on their, and nobody mentions but you can get Bear Spray, Hair Dryer on rent for very cheap price. In addition, kitchen is fully equipped, ask what not, there is a fridge and you can keep your stuff in that. So convenient.

Kitchen closed at 1030 pm, some people didn’t like it. I am an early bird, so I was fine.

Very clean! Nice sheets and beautiful well equipped kitchen. Mountain View’s all around. Extremely clean beds , showers and kitchen. Nice spacious rooms with lots of space for luggage. The guests were polite and quiet. Everyone follows the rules and respects each other.

Staff could have been more helpful. We tried to get the WiFi going for almost 40 minutes, asking for the front desk for help and they seemed disinterested. The showers and restrooms are co-ed which I find a little uncomfortable.
