Loved the location of this hostel. Didn’t have an issue parking either. Staff was super friendly and everything was clean and well taken care of. Check in is super smooth and you’re provided with free towel and linen. Bear spray for rent or buy as well. Shared living area has great views and very comfy feel.
AC didn’t work so was a bit hot. There was nothing in the bathrooms to dry off hands instead of blow dryer. Oh and they lock the kitchen which is very inconvenient if you need to leave early or late because you can’t take your food. I understand they don’t want you to use it but not being able to access is a bit odd to me.

The hostel had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials: pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, microwave, oven, air fryer, kettle, and more. Free parking was conveniently available right at the doorstep, with plenty of food options nearby and a supermarket just a 5-minute drive away for anything else you might need. The bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable, and I could easily sit up without bumping my head on the upper bunk. Each bed came with its own curtain, which offered great privacy and made it feel like having a personal pod - even in a dorm with 7 other people. The in-room lockers were also impressively spacious, perfect for storing luggage or valuables - just remember to bring your own lock. The showers and toilets were spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay, and the laundry room was a bonus with 2 washers and 2 dryers (laundry pods available for purchase at the counter). For those heading to the National Parks, you can also purchase bear spray over the counter at a very reasonable price, cheaper than most retail stores. Overall, a fantastic stay in Canmore, and I’d highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!
The curtains around each bed were a great touch and gave me plenty of privacy, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that they seemed to set off my allergies a little, maybe from some dust buildup over time. If you’re sensitive to dust or have stronger allergies, a private room might be a more comfortable option than a bunk in the dorms.

The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Canmore, close to shops, restaurants, and the stunning mountain trails. The hostel has a friendly, laid-back vibe, perfect for meeting fellow travellers. The rooms and dorms were clean and comfortable, and having shared kitchen facilities made it easy to prepare meals on a budget. Free Wi-Fi and on-site parking were convenient extras. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want an affordable stay in a central location.
If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Overall, it’s a great option for budget travellers who don’t mind a livelier atmosphere.

This was the first time that I've stayed in a hostel - and it was quite the experience! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were also very clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. Although I didn't use it, the kitchen area seemed very well equipped and stocked. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the shops and Enterprise car hire! It also really helped having shops right near the hostel, and you can park your car right outside for free.
Honestly, there wasn't an awful lot I didn't like! I guess being a hostel, a lot of people pass through there for any length of time, and on occasion, there may also be some unsavoury characters. There may have been one or two that made me feel uneasy, but on the whole, everyone seemed nice.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! It was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with local recommendations. They were constantly cleaning and keeping all areas spotless. There was plenty of space in the room for baggage, with lockers, hooks, and storage under the beds. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and spacious, and laundry facilities were available for guests to use. The location was perfect for me as I was attending a conference — right across the street from the Coast Conference Center, within walking distance to downtown, and conveniently located for bus pick-up and drop-off. Free parking was also a huge plus. They even offer rentals like bear spray, which was super convenient. During my stay, most guests went to bed and woke up early, and everyone was generally very respectful of the shared spaces. I would 1000% stay here again!
The only small inconvenience was that the kitchen closed at 10:30 p.m., which made late-night meals a bit tricky.

VERY clean with regular cleaning everyday. The front desk people are kind and helpful with knowledge of the area. Its very spacious, especially the main public area. Location is great. Many walking distance restaurants and stores, and bus stop to banff is just outside. 6 showers and 6 toilets were available, so I didn’t run into any wait times. Linens and towels are provided for free. (Being your own toiletries)
I wish the kitchen didn’t close overnight. It would be nice to be able to access my snacks/drinks in the fridge when i wake up early or arrive late. Also note there is no freezer. I also found the pillows to be a bit uncomfortable and firm, but thats just me being picky. Overall a great and recommended affordable stay!

I loved everything! Super clean, bunk beds were spacious and so were the lockers assigned to each bunk. Great that a towel and linen were provided. Super friendly and helpful staff (especially the girl from Chile on reception) 😊 Nice and quiet common room with an incredibly comfortable sofa and amazing view. The kitchen was also very spacious and extremely clean. I never needed to queue to use a shower/toilet. Washing machine and dryer available. For $6 you’ll have your clothes washed and dried in 1,5hours. Amazing hostel overall and I wish all hostels were like this one!
I liked absolutely everything. The best hostel I’ve stayed at!

Great location. Small lockers available for shoes at entrance (must bring your own lock.) Bins are available to place groceries on shelves in kitchen. Small lockers available in kitchen (must bring your own lock.) Kitchen has large refrigerator area for your groceries. Large storage cabinet next to bed (must bring your own lock.) Underground parking felt safe and very secure.
Washer and dryer cost at minimum $3 each cycle. Pillow could have been better/fluffier. More hooks would be appreciated.

The hostel is well located, with parking available (vehicle registration required at the front desk). It offers a range of rooms, including private suites designed for guests with accessibility needs. The shared spaces are spacious, clean, and well-organized. Kitchens are fully equipped, though fridge space can be limited during busy seasons. All bedding and towels provided are clean and neatly arranged. A standout feature is the bed design in shared dorms: each one includes a shelf, personal power outlets, a reading light, and a curtain that adds privacy and blocks light — a small detail that makes a significant difference. Pro tip for shared rooms: Bring earplugs and a sleep mask to ensure a restful night.

The hostel is very well designed and well managed. One of the best. My only discomfort was the air becoming stuffy in the dormitory. Due to someone closing the only window during the night. A minimum amount of default ventilation should be guaranteed in dormitories containing several occupants.
