The charming hotel had a wholesome, homely feel to it. We liked the convenience of the back entrance to the first floor from where our car was parked. Although it is a charming old building, everything was functioning perfectly well. Good breakfast!! Easy walk of a few minutes to the restaurants in the village. Really fabulously located between Lake Como and Lake Lugano, both gorgeous!!

Next to a bit of a noisy road, but not too bad.

Great location for walking and hiking in the hills around the Italian Lakes. The hotel is a great little family run affair. We had a family room for three that worked well and was plenty large enough. Flexibility on check-in and great breakfasts. Short walk down to the small town square and many dining and drinking options. A totally different (positive) experience from anything lakeside.

Breakfast was simple but adequate. We went for a nice country walk of about 1m before it and the views were great. Room was large and airy, nothing to complain about there really. A short walk down to the main town where we got very good pizzas. Staff polite and helpful, breakfast menu is in English.

Towels are getting a bit past it.

It was nice to stay in a family type hotel instead of an impersonal chain place. It was attractive, clean, with a good breakfast, good water pressure and hot water. The small town was charming, and the mountain views impressive. But the outstanding quality was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, he seemed to be the manager, who did everything he could for us, from coming to get us in the parking lot, to finding a wheelchair, to getting us pizza when I was too tired to go out for it. I cant thank him or praise him enough.

The double bed was a bit uncomfy: the single bed was fine.

Lovely place to stay for a night if you're on the road. The hotel is spacious and well located. The staff really nice and you have good recommendations about the area. The room as quiet clean and safe.

It's still a bit old school and not so comfy but it's understandable according to the place where there's not a lot of tourists outside of the pick seasons

The location, 15 min drive away from Argegno where we got the ferry and explored more of Lake Como. Location really quiet, 5 mins walk to the small town, where there is a Carrefour, a few restaurants and a gelaterie. Powerful shower. Continental breakfast only in the morning but variety of options to choose from.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable, mattress was soft so fine if you or your back like that. Noisy extractor. No facilities to make coffee in your room.

The little town was really cute and everyone was friendly! We loved restaurants (especially this green one on the square)! The staff was very chill and the garden was cute! The views are insanely beautiful too!

The breakfast should be a buffet and not order because it feels awkward if you want something extra.

Excellent place to stay, it isn’t near to Como but the way up to the hotel is amazing and it’s very close to Lake Lugano and the north of Lake Como. Lovely staff and very good breakfast!

Everyday we arrived late and was a bit difficult to park the car inside because the hotel was full. It would be great if the places to park the car were organized, more cars would enter

The drive to the hotel was already a wonderful experience. The roads are narrow and curvy but your efforts are rewarded with the beautiful views. The hotel itself is absolutely charming and quaint. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Very colorful and you just feel right at home as if you were visiting your aunt in Italy. A wonderful sweet smell of orange croissants greeted us as we came down from our room for breakfast. We were waited on at our table for breakfast and were brought a delicious meal. The dining area is very nicely decorated and because of the large windows lets in a lot of light inside. The gate to the parking area is narrow but we fit through and we found a parking spot.

Very friendly owner, spoke English,so great for us useless brits, Very helpful, hotel old but loads of character, views to die for!

Bed in room 122, needs slats fixing, fell through on to floor!, wife found it hilarious! Fixed for night! But needs a look at, other than that! Great stay! 😁👍
