This is one of the best hotel experiences I have had. Fabio and his family was great and personalized the stay for us. As soon as we arrived Fabio followed us up by showing us a good parking nearby and helping us carry our things. The room we had was on the top floor with a great view of the Como Lake, truly one the best views I have seen. The bathroom that was shared with one other couple was clean and it was really no issue having to share. Fabio and the others made us breakfast every morning to our liking. Everything was fresh and very good. Overall I would very much recommend this place to everyone that are travelling with car.

There is little public transport available. A bus that goes every hour at the road by the lake.

The staff is wonderful. Very attentive, gave our son some toys to play with. The view from the room is exceptional. The room is spacious.

It's a very minor comment but some toiletries would be nice. We didn't bring any shampoos/shower gels etc with us because we are so used to BNBs always having them, so this was an unpleasant surprise to discover there is only handsoap available. Also, it's just a comment for visitors, but beware that there is no parking at the property. It's not by the fault of the owners of course, so just an FYI point.

The view is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Fábio is a nice host who was great at helping us find a good place to park the car, he even helped us carry our heavy luggage. Our room was spacious and our balcony had a beautiful view of the lake. The villa is in a beautiful location with a beautiful garden. Breakfast was good. I can recommend this place if you like peace and quiet.

Villa Albonico is in a perfect location in Laglio and Fabio is a very kind host!

Be aware the stairs going up to the Villa are many so be prepared. Luggage does not roll on the steps are sidewalks very well so try to pack light. Otherwise, it is a classic older Villa with definite charm😊

What a wonderful stay!! The view is magnificent and the vibe there is very relaxt. Pablo is a sympathetic host, who helped us great with finding a good spot to park the car, he even helped us carrying our heavy luggage. Our place was very spacious, and our balcony is really one of the finest spots i've ever had. Here you don't need much when you have good companionship, a good bottle of wine and some antipasta. There are some places around you can visit and the butchery up the hill (5 min walk, called Macelleria Donegana) is wonderfull, it has great meat, cheeses and wine. It is nice to have your own kitchen because there are only a few of restaurants closeby. The breakfast was really nice abd more then enough. I could highly recommend this place if you love the idyllic getaway vibe.

Softer beds could increase the comfort for us.

The breakfast was delicious and the location is exceptional! It was great to walk by foot and the staff had great recommendations where to go for drinks and dinner. The beautiful garden was also a great bonus, the children could play safely while we enjoyed our coffee.

Everything was great

Breathtaking views and service that went above and beyond. Every need was attended to, including those we didn’t know about, like getting to the boat on time and navigating parking. Breakfast was great, and we loved the swing and the vintage items in the apartment. Bathroom was also lovely-pictures of the entire property don’t do it Justice.

Beds and pillows were not super comfortable, and be prepared for no AC. That said, enjoying the open windows and doors and bringing in the lake was an experience. Also didn’t know that you cannot drive to the property, which added to its charm.

The location is not easy to find, but the management was very good in getting us to the right area and location. The breakfast was great and free. You will not find find a better place to stay at Lake Como. The price was great, but you are very limited on places to eat from this location because if you leave your parking spot you may not get it back that night.

Nearby restaurants are not really nearby. Parking is 1/3 of a mile from the actual B&B, but the owner helps with luggage.

The only thing was that there wasn't a lot of public transport around the venue, but Fabio helped us with bus times and even finding a taxi!

Lots of stairs to access property which was fine for us but if you have mobility problems may not be the right fit.
