Very comfortable and easy distance from town. Apartment layout very functional, good value for money paid.

A little shabby, needed a little maintenance work to bring it up to standard: toilet seat needs replacement, wardrobe doors had to be reset on tracks and should run smoother, shower door needs adjustment and pivot hinge cleaning, pool tiles need attention. Crockery all mismatched. All functional but could be improved.

Nina , was exceptionally accommodating. We were so well looked after by her . The property and room were even better than expected . The pictures did not do the rooms justice for how spacious and fabulous they were. Really good service, facilities & nicely finished decor . Perfect for a group travelling to Port Douglas and short walk to centre and beach.

The heated pool was chilly.

We arrived on a Sunday so reception was closed but they had left us the key so check in was easy. You also get an allocated car parking spot. The apartment was a really good size, had a washing machine and dryer which was handy. We loved the pool area.

The location was a bit too far (walking) into port Douglas when we wanted to go for a meal and drink. Driving distance not an issue at all.

The place was great, comfy beds, kitchen, laundry, pool.. The only thing that was bad was that the air-conditioning didn't work in our unit. We told the person in charge and she said she tried to get it repaired. The next morning she said sorry but saying sorry didn't give us a good night sleep. The other half where our friends stayed was cool.

Huge welcome from Craig who was very accommodating and gave us lots of information. Pictures on website were a true reflection of rooms which were very spacious and well appointed. Gardens were meticulously maintained. Pool was lovely and relaxing in a very pretty setting. There was a small bbq for use also. Covered carpark was also a bonus and we were supplied with a key to open gate which also provided security. We had the executive two bedroom suite which was excellent value and easily accommodated 4 adults. The rooms were very well separated so we were able to be quite private but come together for meals etc. Huge fridge, dishwasher, with ample crockery and utensils provided and washer and dryer in separate bathroom. Home away from home really.

The only downside for us was in the larger area of the suite the aircon was evaporative and really didn't have any effect in the humidity so we got ready in the smaller room which had lovely cool air from a recycled unit. The decor felt slightly dated, particularly in bathrooms but clean nevertheless. It was quite a lengthy walk to the main street (about 30 mins) but the Port Douglas Taxi service was very economical..and cool 😎

The size and facilities of the apartment were great. We had a car and there are free spaces to use. The pool area was really nice to spend some time relaxing too! A good stay for us!

It was a great apartment, however, So far all apartments in Australia that we’ve stayed in, we find the cutlery/plates/pans/oven not clean enough. Cupboards having musty smells. The expectation of guests cleaning before leaving is ok, but probably isn’t enough, and needs a second clean from the services….as we have to clean everything ourselves before using. The cutlery drawers need wiping out etc.

I enjoyed using the pool and easy to access car park for our hired car. Bedroom and TV area was good and comfortable. Great aircon to keep the room cool in the humidity. Nice big windows for natural light. Staff member at front desk was very helpful and kind in anything we needed. Stove, kettle, toaster and microwave great for cooking in the room.

Would have liked more cooking and cleaning utensils for the kitchen as we were keen on cooking at the room some days/nights. Since we stayed for a week, it would have been nice to be given more towels and toilet paper without asking.

The pool setting and general ambience is exceptionally good. The temperature of the pool was always pleasantly constant and not cold and the pool was excellent for doing laps. The Weber BBQ was always useful , clean and well-maintained. Craig (The Manager/Owner?) was exceptionally helpful and friendly in answering all questions, recommending events and restaurants even on the phone before we arrived and during our stay. The secure parking was welcome, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped with cutlery and crockery. We wanted for nothing.

We could have come out of the school holidays so that we had more opportunity for lap swimming (exercise). We had to pick our times carefully which was not always possible. We also had to stock the kitchen when we arrived with condiments, laundry liquid and dishwashing powder tablets. A recommendation is to leave some of the useful things that previous guests buy for subsequent guests to use and supplement (if possible).

The pool, the layout, location and it was very quiet

Everything was fab but a pair of scissors and some some sharper knives for cooking would be helpful for future guests

Staff and building manager was so friendly and helpful. Great vibe.. Pool was great fun and entertained the children for hours. Apartment was a great size and a perfect location.

Due to building work and some cyclone damage the apartment felt a bit dusty and needed a good clean.
