The staff are friendly and helpful. To be clear, this isn’t your typical ‘hotel’. They are simply rooms above a restaurant, however, you get what you pay for & considering this is based in a good location, it is very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a place to stay which includes more of a ‘hotel’ vibe then this isn’t the place for you. If you just want a place to sleep and store your things while you are out and about then this is the place for you. The only issue for us is that the shower wasn’t great, you couldn’t get the temperature right, it was quite hot but other than that, you can’t really complain!

The location was very good, however you must use the tube system to get around during high tourist season in the summer, uber won't go to your location. The neighborhood is a bit sus but it is not too bad once you settle in. Also going to the gatwick airport is very easy from here. Its a place to sleep in and good for just the basics. This is good for solo travelers as you can just drop off your stuff and leave. I would recommend for one to have a day planned as going back and forth is not suitable and to book only if you are familiar with the tube. The owners were very knowledgable as well and will give you solid advice on what is happening.

I did not like that there was no ac, they can get much better reviews if they fixed it and make more money off that, prices were fair and it was a bit difficult to locate as it is inside a restaurant.

Our Room was really nice. Quite big for my standards, pictures are definitely accurate. It was properly cleaned, some shelves weren't dusted but the sheets and bathroom appliances were excellent. People working there were probably the best part, right after the excellent localisation! They were really nice and helpful and accommodated us whenever we needed help. As I said, localisation is also very good. Since you're so close to the centre, you can actually use buses, which saves a lot of money. But other stations are also close, so you'll always find some way to get around since you're not dependent on only one form of transportation. Overall, highly recommend!

Some shelves weren't dusted, and one drawer was sticky; We had a tv in our room with Netflix, but it didn't really work as it kept on closing the app for some reason Walls there are pretty thin so it's easy to hear when other people are walking up the stair or are noisy in their rooms We've been warned by our driver that you should be extra careful when going out at night, but personally we didn't experience anything dangerous. Maybe more drunk people on a Friday night, but it seems pretty standard

Such a warm welcome from the restaurant manager who greeted us and guided us to the room including explaining the door pin code system and helping carry one of our heavy airline suitcases up the stairs. The room and bathroom were beautiful and clean plus there were tea and coffee facilities. Herbal tea options would also have been appreciated. Accessing ones room via a pin code and checkout was actually very efficient.

1. The building door at the street level that required a pin code always seemed left open and did not easily or obviously lock 2. The radiator in the bedroom had no adjustable thermostat (so we were stuck with am extremely high radiator all night and had to have the windows fully open) 3. Greater clarity on late check-in system and/or that after 11pm one cannot except any in-person reception support (constructive suggestion: put up a helpful poster above each bedroom door pin system explaining how to activate the lit-up code panel)

We loved that it met all of our needs in terms of location and furniture.

We didn’t have service so when we first checked in we had no idea where we were and there is no actual check in person there so we had to get on an international plan and figure out how to get a hold and get information on check in. A similar couple had that issue the next day. A sign outside the hotel or at least check in information prior to stay would be helpful.

The entrance and way to the room looked a bit sketchy, so me and my girlfriend were expecting the worse However, room was way better than expected, as I was skeptical after looking at past reviews. But the room was actually very nice and comfortable. Good ventilation, everything was very clean and looked like a very new room. One of the best places for the price me and my girlfriend been in. Would come here again and recommend to others.

Only one issue that was concerning, is that the toilet in the window didn't have a blind or shutters, it wasn't a deal breaker as it was the third floor, but hopefully this can be fixed easily.

The hosts Naz and Ishtiaq were excellent. Their hospitality during my one week stay was beyond expectation. They were very co-operative, exceptional and accommodative. They have their inhouse restaurant named Thai Spice 🌶 and the food was a perfect companion for the minus degree weather. The ambience and the location is so lively and amazing. Right from the time I stepped in and I checked out, I was treated very special. Highly recommended and would definitely suggest to my friends.

the property was nice overall, the room was a bit small, but comfortable. when we arrived at the property the room was mistakenly ready for just one guest (we were two) so the staff was immediately ready to give us more towels and mugs. they also own the thai restaurant “thai spice” just across the street, it’s very good, try it!

Great friendly staff. Room was very comfortable and cosy but a few small details missing that would make a difference, such as better lighting in the bathroom so my girlfriend could do her makeup, some teaspoons so that you could use the tea and coffee facilities. Would definitely recommend and stay again however!
