Amazing hotel! The beach is literally across the street, you can walk to it easily. They really thought of all the little details! Plates, silverware, microwave, very nice toiletries, delicious free breakfast from a local bakery.. I could go on forever! We will definitely be back 😁

The property was amazing. Central to what we wanted to do (beach, shopping, other beaches, art museum), clean, quiet, had a lovely pool, and the staff were all incredibly nice and accommodating. The breakfast was more than enough (plenty of protein avail in some yogurt and peanut butter) with some really yummy bagels and sweet treats, also all the water you can drink (free drinking water dispenser is a brilliant idea). The room was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. And the Pilot House across the street had the best hot dogs! The margaritas there weren’t bad either. Plus a shoutout to L’Olive and Dockside restaurants each about 14 min drive away. Marvelous other restaurants and shopping even closer on W Venice Ave.

The only tiny thing is the shower head wasn’t great. Could use a slight upgrade. But it was still really quite fine.

Absolutely perfect for beach lovers. Our room was a great size for 3 of us. Had a lovely fully equipped kitchen and we opted for a room with a balcony which was perfect for us. House keeping every day. Free continental breakfast and snacks available. They also give you beach chairs etc to use and return at the end of the day!

The plumbing wasn’t great in the main bathroom. We did ask for the sink to be fixed and they did it straight away. However the toilet ran on and off all the time. It didn’t spoil our stay at all just an observation.

First the beds were comfortable and not sagging in the middle. The kitchenette was nice to have. We did use the coffee mugs and dishwasher. The location was superb, close to everything. The beach wasn't overly crowed. There were many mounds of turtle eggs surrounded by caution tape to keep people and animals off these protected turtle eggs. Having the use of an umbrella, chairs and towels made it easier on vacation. I left a pair of Crocs at the hotel. The staff found them and is shipping them to my home. That's Great!

Dee at reception was super friendly and helpful. We walked to the beach right across the street while we waited for our room to be ready. The proximity to the beach is great. The room was bright, well appointed. We had a lovely kitchenette and even a dishwasher. The swimming pool was heated, very clean and the hot tub was a wonderful relief after a long day of driving. This is indeed a charming place with a scale that is a welcome "inn" coziness. The continental breakfast was also yummy and fun selection of healthy items.

There was nothing I didn't like

Locations steps away from the beach, Breakfast was complimentary fresh local bakery with excellent coffee, yogurt, snack and more. Staff was friendly, helpful and the place is spotless. Parking is also complimentary. We are retired service vets and were treated with much respect and will definitely be going back... Local seafood restaurants nearby and a sunset pier location for meals less than a mile up the beach. Quiet and friendly town.

That we couldn't stay longer. We had other travel plans made.

Clean, well-maintained, very friendly staff, and great amenities. The beach is literally right across the street, and the staff were happy to loan us equipment so we could enjoy the beach and look for shark teeth. They loaned us a beach umbrella and a sifter.

We were on the second floor, and my mom and I have difficulty with stairs due to medical issues. The staff at the front desk tried to find us an available room on the first floor, but they were booked and nothing was available. I appreciated him checking.

Staff were very friendly, best location and we were upgraded to a larger room upon request! The kids received a stuffed shark at check-in which is such a nice touch. A huge applaus to the housekeeping and grounds staff who keep this place looking clean and orderly inside and out. On top of that they offer a nice greeting and always respond kindly to little questions. We loved being so close to the beach and hopping in the pool when we needed some down time.

The tap water had an odd smell. I wouldn't even use it for making coffee. Luckily they provide a water bottle refilling station.

All staff members were amazing. From the first welcome to checking out. They were super friendly and very helpful. The location is great. On our first morning, after having breakfast, we took a quick detour to the beach instead of walking back directly to our room, because it is literally a 1-minute walk. We immediately found a bunch of shark teeth on the shore line, which made our day. They also let you take sharktooth sifters and other beach equipment, free of charge, for as long as you stay there.

If I'm being picky, the breakfast is prepared by a local baker, which is very nice, but it is mostly sweet treats like cakes and donuts. We wanted something savory and ended up eating the bagel with cream cheese every morning, because there wasn't a lot of choice in that regard (e.g. ham, cheese, bacon, eggs, etc.). The interior is great and clean, but maybe a little dated.

AC died first night and had to move all our belongings and go to a room with 2 double beds (this was a romantic getaway), upstairs after we were all ready to NOT do that. Next morning we moved all our stuff back to original room after they fixed AC. They could not reimburse us due to we booked through you, not them. So apparently YOU are the ones who sold me and guaranteed the room and we would get what we paid for. If there is anything you can do about that, thanks. IF not, hmmm.
