Cute little old fashion motel. This place could be a GEM if managed better. Older couple. Son and grandsons. They need to clean up the outside a bit, hire professionals for cleaning and repairs, use a laundry service. This place could be a 10/10 motel. Excellent location, very reasonably priced. Friendly owners.

This little motel was hard to leave for me. The price vs what i got was unmatched. The room was very nice for what i was expecting. Had a lil patio on the back side, completely fenced in, was really nice to sit out back and relax, but really came in handy for spreading all our wet beach stuff out to dry, was never touched. The room has a wooden ceiling, which for me was nice, bc the light entering the room hit the brown and didn't glow like a white ceiling in the morning. Other reviews mentioned noise, while i can see how that could be a problem, we were fortunate to have two old people on either side, so it was library quiet for us. Great sleep. Crazy close to downtown, so i could walk to the Daquari Deck and other places. Didn't try walking to the beach, but I'm sure you could.

My ONLY complaint is, and this may only apply to me, but there are no real blankets in the room, only thin sheets, like really thin. This may not be an issue for you, but i personally use the blankets to put in between my legs while on my side, so i had to go to Walmart and buy an actual blanket. Small personal gripe but, don't expect a hotel comforter blanket here. If you are a sheet sleeper, this may not matter, or just buy a $15 blanket for the rest of the trip like I did.

Very honest review here! This vintage motel is quaint and a neat place to stay if you are on a budget or not needing anything “fancy”. Our room was clean, beds comfy, fridge kept our leftovers and drinks cold! Pool area was clean and had several tables, chairs, and chaises available. Pool itself has a nice step down area where smaller kids can play. Staff was very polite and hardworking. If you want a decent and very moderately priced motel, this is it. Also, if you are flying down to stay at one of the expensive resorts and your flight comes in really late (who wants to spend $200- $400+ for the day when you are checking in at say, 8 or 9 pm!?) then this place is perfect for you. That’s exactly why I found this room and it worked out great. I will most def. be coming back here! For the price and close proximity to the beaches, this little motel can’t be beat.

Wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about it, to be honest. It was very close to the beaches and downtown Venice shops & boutiques.

The location was brilliant, literally a 5-6 minute walk to the main bars, restaurants & shops. The man on reception was pleasant enough. The room was a brilliant size and it was handy being able to park right outside our room. For what we paid (& we only stayed one night on our road trip) it was good value for money

The bathroom was a little 'tired' but very clean and the air conditioning kept tripping out as it was attached to an extension lead, but easy enough to switch back on and eventually, it stayed on

The inn is a vintage 1950's motel. The staff was amazingly kind and friendly. The location was perfect for us as we did everything on foot. Downtown Venice (restaurants and shops), Publix supermarket, Walgreens, etc. were all within walking distance -10-20 minutes. This is a family run business and we got to know members of the family very well. When we left they told us they were going to miss us. We believed that was very genuine.

We were placed in a small room at first but it became clear that for a 10 day stay we needed a bigger one. We were upgraded to the largest room at the inn and it was quite comfortable.

The shower didn't have hot water ... it got up to maybe room temperature but not warm (we weren't using the shower at "busy" times 2am, 10pm, 6am) The sheets had some pretty big stains, they were clean and smelled fresh but it's probably time to toss them

Its a little outdated but it has a quaint homey vibe. I love that. Its very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The town around it is clean and beautiful with lots of shops and the beach is very close. I enjoyed my stay and will use them again when I am in the area

The man who checked us in was pretty nice considering what I was going through and the way everyone else was treating me, at the time and the other guests at the property were as well.

The quality of the property. Looking back that's about it mainly. Also did not like the way the housekeeping cart was left outside my room prior to our scheduled checkout which made me anxious and felt rushed to leave the property.

We love that it feels like a vintage motel and little has changed. We stayed in a room that had been nicely remodeled.

The blankets need to be replaced. There were holes where the surface was wearing away. The back door that goes outside had a hole at the floor 2” diameter. It should be repaired or replaced.

For the price this is the best location. The owners are trying to make everything nice. It's not the fanciest place but it's clean, location is awesome to walk and drive to everything in Venice.

Some of the people that stay here were questionable. But the owners saw that and they were gone,quickly. I think they are doing a great job. I have stayed here many times. Vacation and looking for homes.
