I loved my stay at Inn at the beach Venice. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Very clean room. The bed was comfy, the bathroom spacious, the room has everything you need. The Inn has a local bakery bring us pastries, cereal, bagels, fruits, milk, juice, and coffee. The beach is across the street and has a small but mighty shop. Everything was so peaceful. In the morning you see the locals running/ walking, yoga at the beach. Within steps there are more shops. Everything closes by 5pm and there's nothing happening on Sundays. It's the perfect retreat if you are wanting peace and relaxation. I'll book again.

Amazing hotel! The beach is literally across the street, you can walk to it easily. They really thought of all the little details! Plates, silverware, microwave, very nice toiletries, delicious free breakfast from a local bakery.. I could go on forever! We will definitely be back 😁

Matt greeted us as if we were family and he put a nice bottle of wine in our room with little gifts to help make our 1st Year Anniversary experience special. Most of the staff have been working there for many years. The hotel is spotlessly cleaned every day. We were just around the corner from fabulous restaurants and live music. Memorable experience, for sure. We sifted for sharks teeth but did not find any so we purchased some at a local shell shop on the main drag.

Just a suggestion. TV.s could have been larger and Shower could be larger for the king suite. perhaps remodel bath to just a large shower with two heads and a bench. I would paint the walls a more neutral color now. Yellow is out.

The property was amazing. Central to what we wanted to do (beach, shopping, other beaches, art museum), clean, quiet, had a lovely pool, and the staff were all incredibly nice and accommodating. The breakfast was more than enough (plenty of protein avail in some yogurt and peanut butter) with some really yummy bagels and sweet treats, also all the water you can drink (free drinking water dispenser is a brilliant idea). The room was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. And the Pilot House across the street had the best hot dogs! The margaritas there weren’t bad either. Plus a shoutout to L’Olive and Dockside restaurants each about 14 min drive away. Marvelous other restaurants and shopping even closer on W Venice Ave.

The only tiny thing is the shower head wasn’t great. Could use a slight upgrade. But it was still really quite fine.

Very high end looking. Reasonable room rates. Very clean. Our suite had a kitchenette complete with a stovetop. We enjoyed the little things as well, like the bag of microwave popcorn, the coffee and the shampoos and soaps. The linens were soft and comfy. Our suite was a perfect size. Very beachy in the colors used and it the furniture style. My husband and I will definitely be staying for more get a ways here. Very quiet. Very, very close to Venice Beach. Only a short walk to the sand and water. The staff is very friendly and treated us like we were long time friends. The baked goods for the continental breakfast is supplied by a local bakery. And let me tell you, the items are superior. I cannot speak more highly of this hotel, as there are not enough positive words to describe the environment and the staff there. Truly professional and down to earth combination. Excited to book our next stay.

Absolutely perfect for beach lovers. Our room was a great size for 3 of us. Had a lovely fully equipped kitchen and we opted for a room with a balcony which was perfect for us. House keeping every day. Free continental breakfast and snacks available. They also give you beach chairs etc to use and return at the end of the day!

The plumbing wasn’t great in the main bathroom. We did ask for the sink to be fixed and they did it straight away. However the toilet ran on and off all the time. It didn’t spoil our stay at all just an observation.

Great value for the location, great location in general. Guest service was amazing (minus the woman who checked me out) - check-in, housekeeping, the maintenance gentleman who offered to help us with our bags. Complimentary parking, nice pool and area to rinse off after the beach, everything was wonderful.

The woman who “checked me out” didn’t ask what room, how the stay was, offer a receipt, offer something from the breakfast, nothing. Just said, “ok, you’re good.” Not hospitable at all. Older lady, don’t know her name.

First the beds were comfortable and not sagging in the middle. The kitchenette was nice to have. We did use the coffee mugs and dishwasher. The location was superb, close to everything. The beach wasn't overly crowed. There were many mounds of turtle eggs surrounded by caution tape to keep people and animals off these protected turtle eggs. Having the use of an umbrella, chairs and towels made it easier on vacation. I left a pair of Crocs at the hotel. The staff found them and is shipping them to my home. That's Great!

Dee at reception was super friendly and helpful. We walked to the beach right across the street while we waited for our room to be ready. The proximity to the beach is great. The room was bright, well appointed. We had a lovely kitchenette and even a dishwasher. The swimming pool was heated, very clean and the hot tub was a wonderful relief after a long day of driving. This is indeed a charming place with a scale that is a welcome "inn" coziness. The continental breakfast was also yummy and fun selection of healthy items.

There was nothing I didn't like

Locations steps away from the beach, Breakfast was complimentary fresh local bakery with excellent coffee, yogurt, snack and more. Staff was friendly, helpful and the place is spotless. Parking is also complimentary. We are retired service vets and were treated with much respect and will definitely be going back... Local seafood restaurants nearby and a sunset pier location for meals less than a mile up the beach. Quiet and friendly town.

That we couldn't stay longer. We had other travel plans made.
