It was comfortable and most importantly, clean. I enjoyed this hotel because I could sleep here without having an asthma attack. This hotel was clean, top to bottom, floors as well. Housekeeping was outstanding. (Most hotels are now welcoming dogs. As a result, the rooms, beds, etc., have residual dog hair and dander from a multitude of dogs. The floors at these places are also always very dirty.)

The one annoyance at this hotel is that the walls are paper thin. As a result, you hear neighbors, fighting, screaming during the night. Unfortunately, there were also many teenagers staying there, running unsupervised after10pm.

Breakfast and staff were phenomenal! Food was delicious, hot and the selection was good. Desk staff was great. Witnessed an “entitled” new guest give the desk clerk a hard time and she handled it so professionally, considerate and tried her best to accommodate a solution which they finally got thru the guests thick head😂. We were there to check on our condo which was destroyed during the hurricane(s) and thankful for a nice place that was close to get our work done.

Everything was great. Will stay again when we need to check on condo again. Beautiful facility.

This is our second time in a row we stayed at this hotel. We liked it so much the first time, that's why we booked again. The hotel is modern, super clean-all the facilities and the room. The lobby has a little station for coffee and tea. The front desk stuff is simply amazing, the lady who was in charge for breakfast - a really nice lady, she was keeping the whole breakfast area in order. The room was clean, spacious, the bathroom was clean and spacious as well. The stuff was going beyond and above to make guests comfortable and happy. It is a huge advantage that the hotel serves hot breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel. There is a short drive from the hotel to downtown Venice and Venice beach. I would say it is the best hotel in the area. Will defenetely stay again.

The breakfast could be a bit healthier, would be nice to have some fresh fruits and vegetables.

We loved everything about our stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites - Nokomis - Sarasota South. The facility and its location were great, and the staff were very polite, attentive, and professional. The manager, Adrian, was especially helpful when I had a problem with Booking.com. He made sure the proper information was sent to them so I could get a refund. The front desk lady, Frandy, was so caring and always asked how she could help make our stay an unforgettable one. Mary was very sweet and caring when preparing our breakfast. I also observed the staff celebrating one of their members' birthday, which I thought showed excellent teamwork and camaraderie. Our family is very excited and looking forward to our next vacation there. Thank you Team Holiday Inn Express.

The amazing window coverings, that allowed plenty of light in during the day, but maintained privacy, and thoroughly covered the window at night so no light showed through! Best I've ever seen.

The tub floor was slippery, so we put a towel down there. I recently had both knees replaced and my left hip, so, though I walk very well, I am still conscious of safety features. It would be a good idea to have a sizeable grab bar on the back wall of the wall there. But the shower was great!

Breakfast had a good selection and very clean area. My husband loves coffee and was thrilled to have the coffee pods in room and available in the lobby as well! But the true gem was Frandi!...that lady was the picture of professionalism and despite a male customer badgering her about his company and using a card for incendentials, she never lost her cool and showed grace and diplomacy. She deserves ALL the red wine...hope that corporate knows what an asset they have in her!

Location was perfect for us. Needed to go to a few places in Nokomis, southern Sarasota and Venice so was central. Easy and ample parking. Rooms very clean - did not bother to have it made even after 3 nights. Breakfast was good - different every other day with either cheese omelette or scrambled egss, sausage or bacon. Coffee was nice and strong. Staff very friendly.

Pancake machine out of order. No bar soap - only liquid dispenser. Breakfast could be a little earlier - 6AM instead of 6:30 would be good for early morning risers/travelers. Better pool towels - theirs were too thin and frayed.

The breakfast was pretty good, had a nice variety and nice that it came with the room. Added that extra value. Nice Breakfast area with large TV. Good seating area. Beds were very comfortable and nice clean rooms. Location is very convenient, right off route 41, before you go into Venice. Nice lobby area, to lounge around and rest. Nice little business center, to access a computer and printer. Nice small pool to cool down in and nice fitness center. Very very clean and all new.

The breakfast could stay open a bit longer. Closed at 9:30. There is Coffee available all day, thou.

Great breakfast choices, beautiful room, ultra clean, ultra new and in great shape. Great shower, loved having a decaf in my room too.

Price was really high but probably commensurate with what they offer. I should have expected to pay over 170 to stay in the area on short notice in vacation season. Room was cold to start with, 1st floor window just had shear curtain looking out onto pool. If more people went to the pool they might have been able to see in the room.

The hotel facilities and the room were very clean, pretty much very well updated. The stuff were amazing! The location was pretty good, close to Nokomis beach, a short drive to Venice Beach, where we preferred to go.

Breakfast options could be healthier, there was bread and sugary stuff, omelets and sausage from boxes, not freshly cooked. No fresh vegetables and fruits, except apples. Basic tea bags, no tea assortment at all.
