We loved our stay at the Venice Beach Villas! We had 2 little kids with us and they had a great time. It was a perfect little cottage feel. The pool was amazing. There were noodles and other pool and beach things we could borrow. 10 minute walk to Venice beach and less than that to little shops and restaurants. The property was well kept and there was parking steps from our door. We will certainly be back if we find ourselves in Venice again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had equipment for shark teeth hunting and even bikes available for use without additional charges. The location was very convenient to the beach and the cute downtown area of Venice Beach.

I can't say there was necessarily anything I didn't like. The bathroom was a bit small. Since I was alone, it didn't matter but I could see it being an issue if there were several people staying in the same villa I was in. Unfortunately, they were having issues with the cable when I was there. I honestly didn't watch TV while I was there so that was a non-issue for me.

Unit 10 was a well-stocked unit with everything we needed to enjoy a short beach getaway. We used the property’s bikes to get to the beach and the village shops and restaurants. The pool was sparkling clean and the perfect temperature. The staff were lovely. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay!

We usually stay at adult-only properties on Venice, so the ample children were a bit annoying, but we expected that. Just beware if you think it’s adult-only! Also, the pool lights shut off before midnight so don’t expect a late night dip.

Great location near downtown Venice. So many shops within walking distance. Having access to do laundry and plenty of things to borrow for the beach was very convenient. Found a lot of great shark teeth at the beaches. Room was well kept and clean when I arrived. Ken was great in coordinating everything for me for check in.

Nothing to dislike.

Very nice space with a kitchen and bedroom. The place is easy to get to and has a great location equip-distance from the beach, historic downtown and the cathedral. Pool was nice size, while the facility was not over crowded.

The rooms could use some up-dating. While they are clean, the decor and bathrooms are older than my grandma's... :) The parking in the courtyard is a bit of a pain...but it works out, and it is not enough to dissuade us from visiting again. Very good value for the money. Where else can you stay so reasonable and walk to see the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico in 10 mins....

Located in a quiet, tree-lined area, within an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. 40mins walk to Venice fishing pier. The large room had everything we needed, large fridge, microwave/oven. The pool was clean, and we had the added bonus of free bike hire, and access to laundry facilities (free detergent but coins needed for machines). We loved staying at Venice beach villas and would thoroughly recommend it.

I wish we'd stayed long

Great location. You can walk to the beach but we are a family of 4 so we would drive the 1 minute down the street and park closer since it was free parking at the beach. The beach also had a snack/drink stand. The resort was quiet and the pool was great. After a long day of swimming we would walk across the street and get dinner Ice cream coffee etc. Looking forward to returning next year.

Wish the room was a little bigger but we were hardly in it.

Cozy and clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet area, really relaxing. Location really good: 7 minute walk/3 minute drive to Venice beach, gorgeous beach with free public parking. The hotel has bikes, parasols, beach chairs and coolers which you can borrow for free. There are public tennis and basketball courts just one block from the hotel, and the hotel has basketballs, tennis rackets and tennis balls that you can borrow. Five minute walk from the hotel to the (small) city center. I highly recommend Venice beach villas.

We liked everything. But Venice is quiet and calm so maybe not the best place if you want city pulse and action.

Location perfect,friendly staff,had everything needed and more,free use of bikes chairs and cooler boxes for the beach,Ken was very welcoming gave advice on area and local beaches etc showed us around property we arrived very early but within an hour our room was ready.loved our time here and would highly recommend

wonderful location: right in the middle between a beach and main street retail activities. 10 min walk to a beach through a nice park area, and not more than 10 min to all the restaurants, ice cream shoots etc. also free equipment to use like bikes, chairs and umbrellas for the beach was a nice touch.

we thought that the bed mattress was really old, and the springs were not holding well. not very comfortable. checkout at 10 am with 50$ late fee , if checking out later and 25$ for every next hour seems a bit excessive and inflexible.. but they let us to leave our car after the checkout time at the property so we could still go to the beach for the morning.
