Arriving in Riomaggiore was like walking into a fairytale. SailorsRest was our favorite stay of our entire Italy vacation. The spectacular views of the beautiful sea and stunning sunsets were enjoyed from our room as well as from the private terrace where you can sit and relax away from the crowds. The outdoor garden was a wonderful place to soak our tired legs while admiring the view after a busy day. Staying here allowed us unlimited access to walk the Via dell’Amore in both directions. If we are ever in the area again we would book this place instantly! ❤️❤️

The room is very large and has everything you need, especially as there is a large private terrace overlooking the sea. The bathroom is large with a nice shower, bidet & window. The view from our private terrace was gorgeous, as advertised. Sleeping to the sound of gentle waves and waking up to the quiet of the cliff life on the Mediterranean Sea is priceless. The best is experiencing Riomaggiore once all the daily tourist’s boats are gone. Great service from Andrea and her team, there when needed but fully respectful of my privacy. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Riomaggiore or Cinque Terre.

We stayed in this beautiful apartment with a private sea-view terrace, and the views were absolutely breathtaking — the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a sunset aperitivo. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail. The bedroom was spacious and cozy, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom modern and perfectly maintained — everything felt fresh, welcoming, and well cared for. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is close to the village center and the walking paths, so it's convenient. The combination of comfort, location, and view made this a perfect base for exploring the Cinque Terre.

We loved this beautiful, modern and spotless room overlooking the harbor and town. The room is large enough with a large closet & everything you need, especially as there is a private large terrace overlooking the sea. The bathroom is large with a nice shower, bidet & window. The location was top-notch, just steps down to the beach. And with the perfect views of Riomaggiore spots for picture-taking. The sea-view from our private terrace was mind-blowing! Exactly as pictured in their Booking.com page. The owners, Michele and Andrea, were very kind, helpful and very accommodation to our needs. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. You cannot beat the view of row boats waiting to be taken out onto the water and the cute little Cinque Terre houses side by side. Highly recommend due to friendly host, location, and comfort.

It is hard to imagine a better location than this. Located right in the heart of the picture postcard Cinque Terre village of Riomaggiore, the rooms and terrace provide gorgeous views over the village and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The room was lovely and little extras like a free mini bar and bottle of Prosecco on arrival made us feel very welcome. We cannot recommend SailorsRest enough as the perfect small hotel for a relaxing hideaway which is at the same time just metres away from the hustle and bustle of the charming village of Riomaggiore.
