As we booked all inclusive so it shouldn’t be any paid option inside the resort but there are paid games inside.

Gentlemen offering various experience (massage, oils, watersports, photos, trips,...) by the pool were a bit annoying - every 10 minutes someone came and offered something

My recent stay at Serenity Fun City Hotel in Hurghada, Egypt, was an absolute delight. We had the pleasure of staying with our family of four at the Pools, Acqua, TAU restaurant, and family room, and it was an outstanding choice. The amenities and service were top-notch, making our stay truly unforgettable. Special thanks to Hossam Ali, the restaurant manager, Mohamed Khamis, and Mohamed Emad, along with Mohamed Ehab from reception, for their exceptional hospitality and dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. Our recent stay at this hotel was impacted by the large number of guests, largely due to partnerships with various entities. While the staff were doing their best to accommodate everyone's needs, they were visibly overwhelmed from check-in onwards. The constant bustle and long waits were noticeable, and it's clear that the hotel was operating at maximum capacity. To improve the guest experience, it might be beneficial for management to assess the hotel's capacity and consider strategies to manage large groups and partnerships more effectively. Despite the challenges, the staff's dedication and efforts to provide good service were appreciated.

It was perfect for families! With few amazing aqua park games that were not hard for kids with their parents, to the amusement park that was affordable too, everything was encouraging for families was small kids to have fun without a hassle. Also the place was not big so walking distance between the first to last point was walkable without big effort. I liked the family rooms too as they were separated by a door, and ground floor was better for me. The food was really good in terms of quality and variety. Also I would like to thank Mr. Ehab, the reception manager, as he was checking on our stay daily and thankfully offered us a late checkout! It was amazing from him.

Beach was rocky and it was not really nice for kids to enjoy. But there was a marina that allowed adults to do snorkeling to check the amazing coral reefs that were there. One point to improve, the waiters were not proactive anywhere in the hotel. If I am sitting on a table without any silverware, I’ve to ask. Never happened that a waiter came to ask if we wanted to drink something, I have to go and bring the drinks myself. I know it’s a self service, but in many other hotels the waiters are more proactive and usually check on the guests to see if they need anything.

Had a wonderful stay at and I would especially like to highlight the outstanding service provided by the reception staff—particularly Abdallah. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming and attentive. What truly stood out was Abdallah’s daily follow-up calls to ensure that everything was going well and that we were comfortable and happy with our stay. His genuine care and professionalism made a big difference and added a personal touch that we deeply appreciated. Thanks to his efforts, our experience was smooth, pleasant, and truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel—not just for its facilities and location—but for the excellent service from people like Abdallah who go above and beyond.

The staff are very kind and friendly, The room was very clean and quiet. There is a variety of swimming pool depths for kids or adults. The Aqua park is wonderful with plenty of types of games for different ages, life guard agent every where and really they are doing their job always on the spot. Food was excellent 👌 as 5 ⭐ hotel. And the special thing was the entertaining team day at the swimming pool and night with special shows they make a really dynamic atmosphere. Really I'm satisfied and all my family 🙏. .

Honestly we had a very good time! Most of the staff was lovely, friendly, helpful and hardworking. very spacious and clean room (Mohamed who was doing the housekeeping every day was such a lovely guy ❤️). Very tasty food, the aqua park was amazing 🤩🤩🤩, big pool, plenty of sun beds - we were able to get one at any time of the day. Unfortunately our daughter got sick on our 3rd day (both of us were fine,it was only her sadly) however, the clinic doctors and nurses were amazing (especially doctor Akram) and treated her so well that in 1 and a half days she was pretty much back to normal. Ihab the assistant front office manager was checking on us all the time asking if we need special food for her or anything at all, he is also a credit to the hotel, 10/10. Our daughter already wants to come back here despite the short illness and I think that says it all.

We know tipping is common practice in Egypt and whilst not mandatory is well appreciated and we don't mind giving it but 1 or 2 staff members were a bit pushy for tips which I disliked. Most of the staff deserved it and never asked or made any signs to give tips, they were just lovely hardworking people so we were giving them from the heart but I don't like it when someone asks for tips in order to get the service.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to Serenity Alpha Beach but still had access to Serenity Alma Heights. There were great pools, both salt and chlorine, that never felt too crowded. The pool slides were fun and there were plenty to choose from. Rooms were spacious and the balcony was a great addition. The food was excellent with a good variety at each meal. There were plenty of places to get bottled water and drinks whenever needed. The jetty that reached the coral at the beach made snorkelling so easy and accessible. There were plenty of chairs on the beach to sit on. Entertainment was good each evening, and the fun fair and games room were a fun treat. All the staff were so nice and accommodating.

There were power cuts each day, particularly in the evenings, which could sometimes be annoying (like being caught in the shower in the dark), but it was never very long. The wifi access was patchy.

Amazing family resort with an aquapark and a funfair integrated on top of the swimming pool and the beach. Alaheddine the new director is totally engaged in ensuring that every guest is envoying their stay with the support of Emad who went above and beyond our expectations, as the housekeeping manager. We also wanted to thank Mustafa the chef and his team, especially Montazar for taking care of our family.

Instead of allowing vendors to consistently try to sell their packages around the swimming pool and beach, the hotel should organise a quick introduction the day of the arrival to avoid feeling harassed. Some staff also still require a bit of training to ensure a consistent 5 star level.
