Clean, good food, stand alone rooms give you everything you need. Staff were very friendly.

The first night the music was incredibly loud gone midnight... the pub had been closed quite a while but whoever was in charge/cleaning up was drunk and blasting music which when you have to get up at 05:00 the next day is v irritating. Would post the video if there was an option as this wasn't just a little bit loud, it was hear from a mile away loud. Wouldn't dissuade me from staying again as fine the next day, rooms were clean etc but was very frustrating when you have to get up in under 5 hours time.

Stunning location this was my 4th visit in 6 months, my son came with me this time the weather wasn't great, expected for January though, still went up the hill and for a lovely walk, we had a meal in the Pendle Inn which was amazing my son had the trio of sausages with mash which he really enjoyed I had the hot roast beef sandwich which came with a huge portion of chips and salad, the beef was so tender everything was so hot, loved it, my son had the bedroom, I slept on the sofa bed downstairs.

The only downside for me was the tv didn't work, no signal and at this time of year it's dark early so can't stay out so late walking when it's chucking it down, it was ok the excuse for an early night lol

The Inn itself is beautiful in a picturesque village setting. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our accommodation was two side by side apartments with designated parking out front. The kitchen/lounge/dining area is comfortable. We would happily return.

The bathroom is basically a cupboard next to the kitchen but is functional. The bedroom upstairs has a slanting roof so you have to be careful not to bump your head, and there is a lack of space around the bed. The velux window is in need of a good clean, but the other window has a nice garden view.

I absolutely love the location of the Pendle Inn ( the name gives the location away) this is the place to find real peace and tranquility, and is situated at the foot of Pendle Hill in The village of Barley.if you wish to stay here please note that there is no phone signal, so please think its 1960, This area is idyllic for those who wish to partake in a spot of exploring by foot, and if you are a solo traveller like myself then you can fill your boots with beautiful food and ale, and is served all day at the Pendle Inn. If you are like me and love anything to do with Pendle Witch trials, then this is the place for you, it is 45 min drive to Newchurch from Pendle where you can immerse yourself in the history from 1612.. The staff are polite, curtious and well versed of all local ales, the food is good and honest, if you want quality then pay the extra, but if you dont then off you go to someone who is called Mac and has a farm. But I swear to all those who read this, when I say you will not be disappointed with a stay at Pendle Inn.

Cannot fault it whatsoever, I seriously can't think of one to write here, so to be perfectly clear, I can't so I won't.

My adult son and I stayed there. He took the bedroom upstairs while I slept on the fold out sofa bed in the living room since I'm smaller. I didn't have any trouble sleeping on the sofa bed and my son was quite comfortable upstairs. We appreciated the tea and coffee supplies in the kitchenette which was useful, along with the fridge. We ate some meals in the inn that were delicious.

Accommodation is pretty basic but at a very reasonable price. We were quite happy there. It was a great location for exploring Pendle.

Location is beautiful, pub is very welcoming, staff were helpful, accommodation was good

It is self catering, and you have all the utensils with which to cook, but there is no hob, no oven, and no pans. There is a microwave. But this does not really meet the threshold of self-catering for us. Also, there was one sachet of coffee and one sachet of caffeine free coffee and that was it for the coffee. So if the two of you like either form of coffee one of you will have to miss out. But i wouldn’t hesitate to go back because overall it was lovely

Fabulous find! I was travelling for work so just booked somewhere local for a reasonable price, and I was blown away by this little gem. Lovely cottage with a living room, kitchenette and bathroom downstairs and a lovely little bedroom upstairs with a huge bed! The staff in the pub were so welcoming and friendly and the food was outstanding, I eat in the pub both nights and honestly the food was gorgeous. I liked the place so much I have already booked again to come for a few days leisure later in the summer.

There wasn't a hairdryer, probably the only thing I can think of!

The Inn was fabulous and the food was out of this world. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended. The accommodation was more than adequate. Beds are really comfortable.

Cleaning in the accommodation left alot to be desired. The dust on the bottom TV shelf and under the DVD player was bad and it was the same under the table lamps in the bedroom. A little more attention to detail would have been appreciated. The television didn’t seem to work. The aerial wouldn’t plug in and there was a HDMI cable in the back of it but it didn’t go anywhere.

Accommodation is in motel style apartments to the rear of the pub so there's lots of space. Bedroom upstairs, bathroom, kitchenette and lounge area are downstairs. Microwave, sink and kettle, with some cutlery and crockery. Very quiet. Nice beds. White Company toiletries. The pub is authentic and lovely with open fire in March, serving huge, tasty dinners. I recommend Chicken Sinatra.

Cleaning in apartment is showing signs of missing bits eg some stains on walls and doors, extractor fan in bathroom filled with dust. Not terrible by any means, but they need to keep on top of this. Bad draught coming in from front door.
