To be honest, I loved everything: the location/area (Le Vieux Port-Le Plongeoir-Coconut Beach), the view from my window (facing south, so, the sea!), the view from the restaurant terrace, and also (i) the terrace + (ii) the restaurant (the menu + the food + the service), the room with high ceilings, a huge window, modern room renovations, the meeting room, the WiFi, and the cost-benefit/value for money. Seriously, it's been a while since I've been this satisfied (and the last time I was, it was at a 5-star hotel, so, with different prices and expectations). Thanks a million, I will definitely come back and recommend you guys!

Nothing, everything was awesome, really!

Excellent location, quietly situated along the coast about 10/15 mins walk from the old port. Beautiful views. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and cool. Good breakfast

Disappointed that we were unable to eat at the hotel restaurant. It was already fully booked for the two days we were there. Could have done with being told to book in advance. It was a shame as the hotel has a lovely terrace restaurant. Also we went to sit on the terrace in the afternoon for drinks and were told abruptly to move by the restaurant manager as the tables were laid for the evening?? what was that all about ?? still the old port had some lovely restaurants to eat at.

Location of property is perfect, in the calm part of the city, close to the Port and direct tram to the airport. Sea view from the room and restaurant is just breathtaking, you can’t get enough of it. Room is quite compact but you have everything you need and you can even see the sea from the shower. Breakfast was quite ok even though the same every day. Hotel has good restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner. It’s better to reserve it in advance especially in high season. Staff in the restaurant was very professional and attentive, food was very good too. They even sang me the song for my birthday and installed birthday candle on dessert. Generally speaking, very much satisfied with our stay and would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Unfortunately if you come to breakfast not at 6-30, you will eat cold eggs as they are kept just on regular plate in buffet. There was no effort to upgrade our room or give some small treat when I informed about my birthday while booking, even though hotel was practically empty. That was a bit disappointing.

This was our third stay, that confirms we like it. The location is excellent as are the staff, the breakfast and restaurant. Breakfast on the high level sea front verandah is one of life’s little luxuries, although the gulls are becoming ever bolder in stealing food from unattended plates. This does not seem to be a problem of an evening. Note, best to book an evening table in advance of your stay. We enjoyed our short stay and wish it could have been longer.

Our stay was disturbed by the fire alarm sounding at around 11.30 PM, we were one of the few couples who left our room to check all was well. We were assured there was not a fire and we returned to our room.

The view was spectacular. There’s a beautiful church attached and we enjoyed that as well as the beautiful courtyard in the center. The sea was right there and you were able to walk over have a swim and then come back to your room effortlessly. That beach was quite full, but this is to be expected at this time of year.

We weren’t able to eat dinner at the hotel because it was booked up the entire time that we were there. The breakfast was good, but could have been refilled more frequently.

The staff were very helpful with everything I needed. They worked very hard to help my daughter mail a package back to USA. The breakfast is very good and large. Wonderful Cappuccino Machine that you have access to any time of the day. Beautiful views of The Cote D'Azur from our window on the 4th floor. I would highly recommend this hotel. Also, this hotel was a former Monastery or Cathedral or both. It has a very beautiful church attached to it and patrons have complete access anytime to pray or light a candle or just take pictures.

I liked everything about this hotel.

The hotel's lobby offers amazing views, and a beach is within walking distance. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Everything about the hotel was impressive. At night, the soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore creates a calming and peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant is a great addition, with a wonderful atmosphere during both lunch and dinner. It's worth noting that there are some stairs at the entrance, which made it difficult to bring our luggage up last time. However, they have now added an elevator, making the hotel more accessible. Everything was on point.

Everything was perfect.

We really loved this hotel.. such a find. We chose this hotel first as it had lots of free parking, but secondly because it had spectacular views. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay here again when in Nice. The location is on the coast road so easy to get out to Monaco and that direction or drive to Antibes, Cannes and St Tropez in the other. It has spectacular views from the rooms. The restaurant looks out to sea from the terrace, but you DO NEED TO BOOK a table in advance of your stay as it is often fully booked so sadly we did not get to dine there in the evening. Breakfast is fresh and just what you need. No rows of stuff you wouldn't normally eat for breakfast, just good healthy and filling foods; cereal, fruit, breads, pastries, cheeses scrambled eggs and bacon etc - coffee machine and all can be eaten on the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The staff are courteous and friendly, the rooms very clean and they have absolutely everything you could need with plenty of charging points, and plug areas, separate loo and shower, tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. The shower has a glass corner so you can still see the sea from there but also has a switch so that you can mist over the glass and have privacy.. lovely addition. The lifts are fast and efficient, and there is a lift from the car park to the reception, otherwise you can use the steps which go to the front door. The chapel which belonged to the seminary is also still on site which although not used is kept well by the diocese and you can go and light a candle there.

nothing, except we didn't get to use the restaurant as we hadn't pre booked.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic, from the stunning view when we went up in the lift from the car park when we arrived to how friendly and attentive the staff were. Bedrooms and bathroom were probably the largest I’ve ever stayed in and were immaculately clean. Breakfast was excellent and great value for money at €15 and the car park was free.

Hard to fault anything other than some connectivity with TV using some apps e.g Netflix/Youtube may have been nice.

Front desk staff was amazing. We had a sea view room. Shutters opened to the sea. Nice room darkening heavy curtains. Great modern bathroom. Interesting feature that "clouded" the bathroom glass for privacy, or allowed you to look out at the sea while showering. Comfortable bed. Modern elevators. Good petite dejeuner. Overall, this place is truly exceptional. They also had a really nice car service (Mercedes-Benz) that took me to the train station. Great lobby area with nice leather furniture. Resplendent grounds.

A little further east of the action-packed part of Nice than I realized. But it gave a nice buffer to all that tourist mayhem. I think there was a governor on the air-conditioning that limited its effectiveness.
