I LOVE this location! I have now stayed at this hotel for the past three trips to the UK, and find no reason to go anywhere else when I’m in Oxford. It is clean, safe, and has all of the mod cons I depend upon (AC, en-suites, elevators to the upper floors, breakfast, etc.) Most importantly, it is within walking distance of all of the things I love about Oxford. Best of all, the staff absolutely spoil their guests with little touches of hospitality that make this location stand above the rest. Please keep up the outstanding work - it is appreciated!
I wish the property offered washcloths in their towel sets, but I was able to quickly remedy that by purchasing some at the nearby Westgate mall. I will remember to pack some for my next visit.

Beautiful room, perfect location, brilliant rooftop lounge good but expensive breakfast.
The food and drink here were very expensive. The morning breakfast staff were arguing about something and it made me a little bit uncomfortable. It was a man whom seemed to be the manager talking a lot and very sternly to a female employee at breakfast. He seemed to be reprimanding her in another language and it was uncomfortable for me to see her being talked to like that in front of everyone. Bad form on his part. She seemed like she wanted to respectfully defend herself but he kept walking away from her and then talking loudly and disrespectfully to her again and again when she was quiet. It was weird.

Upgraded room was very comfortable. Breakfast was substantial and well presented. The manager was welcoming, answered all our questions and was very helpful in directing us to places we wished to visit. All other staff were helpful and friendly
We were never shown the restaurant only the snack s at the bar and this was also the space for the breakfast, a bit restricted and not a welcoming space for eating When booking the Booking.com website stated parking on site which was a major reason topersuade us to book. Our first notification from the hotel confirmed the booking but immediately stated that there was NO parking at the hotel only the Park and Ride on the edge of town. We were mislead

Breakfast was OK but not special. Staff were friendly and efficient. I had asked for a room next to my daughter over from Norway. But I arrived before check in time. The room next to hers was not ready so I accepted an alternative..
The bar and dining room was more motorway cafeteria than up market hotel. Some of the chairs need pads on their legs to stop them screeching , like fingers on a blackboard, when moved.

Oxford has many bad hotels, many of them overpriced. This one is not cheap but correctly priced. I especially liked the fact that everything looked brand new, was spotlessly clean and that my standard room was quite spacious with a large comfotable bed. standard quality shower and the type of average but still more than OK breakfast buffet. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, really more so than at most hotels.
Nothing really. Like in most hotels below the 5 star level, the water jet of the shower is not as powerful as at home.

Your usual Mariott experience! Spotless room, spacious and airy! Quick check-in and check-out, friendly staff, kind and professional in the same time! Coffee & tea in the room, great for a good start in the morning! Beautiful roof terrace, great for catching a bit of morning sun! Nice lounge in the reception area, bar, mini-market and a microwave that comes in handy. Comfortable beds and absolutely lovely pillows (2 per person). Really convenient location, right in the centre and next to the river. It only has parking spaces for disabilities, but we found 24h paid parking at the Ice Rink, ~4 mins walk away. Only been here for a short pitstop, but clearly will be our first choice next time in Oxford!

Great staff on check in. Room good size, very clean, everything we needed. Beds comfy. Breakfast service good and friendly on day 2. Luggage store good facility. Easy walk to city centre.
Windows didn't open, my absolute nightmare. Soundproofing to corridor not great. Limited options for tea and coffee..no hot chocolate or biscuits. Breakfast service day 1 pretty poor, asked for table to be cleaned and reset but ended up moving tables as no one came, even though the guy I asked was standing doing nothing. Breakfast options bit limited for the price. Park and ride bus stopped more than 10 mins walk from hotel due to roadworks, and it was raining. I'm thinking another park and ride might have got us a bit closer, but hotel website still recommended Seacourt.

The location was very good - quiet and close to the city centre and convenient distance from the train station. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. A wide choice of fresh foods for breakfast was good.
The pillows were too soft and made sleep difficult. The inability to open any windows was a problem - the air was very dry in the rooms which affected my throat and breathing at night. I was told no windows could be opened because of the fire risk. Surely a little fresh air would benefit everyone?

Easy to walk to from the railway station. Located in a quiet area, but very close to the town centre. The staff were very pleasant.
The self-service breakfast area was very cramped. I had to ask for a teapot as none were provided - unbelievable for a 4-star hotel in England! A disagreement between two members of staff took place in full view & within earshot of customers eating breakfast - very unprofessional.

At breakfast, there was a good selection of pre-cooked and continental items, cheese, ham etc. available and a choice of eggs could be cooked fresh on request. There was wide range of cereals with fresh fruit, pastries, breads, cakes etc., also dairy and non-dairy milks. We were given an accessible room which was spacious, very comfortable, with a large ensuite toilet/washroom/wet-room shower - very well-appointed with top notch fittings and thoughtful additions. It was such a shame that the shower had fabric curtains which finished about 30cms above the floor and the slope to the central drainage wasn't adequate to cope with the volume of water being delivered by the (excellent!) shower. This meant that the water easily escaped from the expansive specific shower area under the curtains into the toilet/washbasin area and also towards the entrance door! There was more than enough room to have designed an easily accessible shower area with water retaining screens - such an oversight in otherwise perfect accommodation for people with disabilities.
The yoghurt was all low fat with only plain and one fruit choice available. The pre-cooked items were not hot, merely kept warm. The scrambled egg was very dry and tasteless - not set 'creamy' as it should be for breakfast - perhaps I should have asked for some to be cooked freshly ... The toaster did not turn out an adequately browned slice and we were requested by a notice, not to put the sliced bread through more than once!
