The location was in the middle of the small town with easy access to everything. The shuttle service to and from the train station was extremely helpful, a very steep climb to the hotel. I had requested a larger room and received a very nice Junior Suite. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sheer beauty of the area is worth the visit.

The hotel restaurant prices were outlandish. Unfortunately our visit was in low season and almost every restaurant in the village was closed, so very few choices. Also, for low season the room was extremely pricey.

The staff went out of their way to meet all our needs. For example, our kids eat only vegan food. The kitchen staff provided special, tasty vegan meals for them every evening, based on their food preferences. I love everything about this hotel - the location, the cleanliness, the excellent breakfast, the friendly and helpful staff, the spaciousness and coziness of our room and the gorgeous view from the balcony!

Very minor: the pillows could be a bit softer.

The modern rooms are 5 stars, comfortable, spacious, good storage and balcony. They have a garage and ski storage room downstairs. The dinner was a real gourmet one and the breakfast always excellent. The staff is very welcoming, attentive and available. The public swimming pool across the street suits all type of swimmers and the sport shop opposite the hotel is well stocked and staff is very helpful. The ski school and kids friendly skilift is just behind the hotel. With the free bus pass and ski card you are minutes away from all the slopes in the valley.

Hotel very spacious overall,lots of open spaces. Room well-appointed,large with all ameneties,even a balcony. Pontresina is a much better place to stay than St Moritz.Would recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone.

Location, excellent breakfast and restaurant, nice and big new rooms, very friendly staff

Room is quite cold during the night, especially with a quite thin cover (a duvet would be nice). the bed is hard and not convenient for everybody. Sauna hours are short (15.30-18h)

Over the years the hotel has consistently retained its level of quality of services, friendliness of staff, helpfulness of staff members, - shouldn't this be a 4 star establishment. The location is great, breakfast is excellent, access to facitlities, shopping, exploring the environment and our favourite Val Roseg is great. I stayed at the Schweizerhof since almost 20 years and am intrigued as to how they can keep up with excellent service. See you soon.

Centrally located in Pontresina near restaurants and shops; very rich breakfast selection; provided breakfast earlier on the day of a sports event.

They should have better advertised the early breakfast for the sports event; quite expensive but still ok compared to other hotels during the same period.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room could not have been better, with a wonderful view of the mountains, We walked from the train station, which was a bit of a trek up a hill. We visited in May and the area was really quiet. The lifts were all closed for the season and so were most of the restaurants and stores. We ending up eating dinner at the hotel, which was quiet good.

Everything was really perfect, from a Swiss citizen perspective. Fabulous. Great breakfast, very comfy, location +++

One of the waitresses on an evening was very in a rush a slightly rude but ended to be nice so we forgot. We will never understand why we have to pay CHF for tap water.

Good Location, Beautiful view from the room, good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Very friendly and efficiënt lady who served dinner/managed the restaurant! Parking in the garage of the hotel.

A shower in the bath tub with a curtain. If they change this for a normal shower then this hotel is a full 10!!!!
