We upgraded to a stand alone cabin as we were very disappointed with the room we'd booked. The cabin was modern, clean and airy with everything we could want to be self contained.

We had originally booked a room within the resort and we were very disappointed with it when we looked in. The room was very old, dated and dark, the blinds wouldn't even open to have some light. No facility's and along a long corridor, the rooms are more suited for FIFO people.

Great location and excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and professional. The bedroom was spacious with a generous sized fridge (only water in there to buy, no mini bar). The shower was very good, bed and pillows comfortable. . There was a table and chairs and tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

It was quite a long way from the car park to our room and we had to drag our suitcases over gravel.

Very friendly and reasonably priced. They offered a buffet style meal for under $29 that was fantastic. A variety to choose from and a bar. No need to get back into the car.

The TV u couldn't drive it. Pool table and dart board if u are having 4 guests to use maybe a bit of maintenance in that area. Clean off the wasp mud and replace the swollen dart boand with a new one.

Convenient location. Clean. Lovely big room.

No hairdryer. No soap supplied. Room was directly off the reception making it very noisy at times. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was not serviced during our stay with fresh towels or rubbish removal.

Very handy location if you're looking for a stay just off the highway, with easy, safe access off and back on the highway. Stayed in the cabins which are roomy, clean and modern with parking spot at your front door. Reception and staff all very welcoming, with a buffet breakfast and dinner on-site.

Reasonable buffet dinner, but think it was a little overpriced.

Location ideal as just breaking up our journey. Pleasantly surprised with cabin, had all items needed. Bed comfortable, shower Fabulous, Air-conditioned worked exceptionally well, lovely outdoor seating Area. Restaurant not open so cannot comment on food.

More info on opening/closed times of restaurant. Disappointed large near fuel station offered hardly any food items . Such as butter sugar etc.

Very good value for money for a shortstop and just off the freeway, you can't hear any traffic. There is a large petrol and service station with fast food nearby which makes it easy to hit the road in the morning or get some amenities. The rooms and facilities were clean/comfortable, giving aircon, large bathroom, nice white linen, soap, and hair wash. The restaurant is handy for breakfast/dinner, I didn't eat at the restaurant but many did and seemed very satisfied. There are a lot of male mining workers that stay here and as a single female traveler, I was a little worried about my safety during the night but I must be clear there wasn't any direct reason to be concerned, the miners all had dinner and went to bed and there was no late night noise or shenanigans. The manager was nice and reassured me and gave me a direct number to call should I have any unforeseen issues which put me at ease for my one-night stay. I would stay again if I was doing another road trip. I didn't have the time to go to Gladstone to stay and this was perfect for my needs.

A bedside lamp for reading would be great.

a refresh of the decor would be beneficial and I could not open the curtains to get some natural sunlight in

The location was great, very quiet and you can walk to McDonalds. The bed was comfortable and we slept so well. A good sized room. The staff member, Peter was very helpful. Parking was good.

No microwave in the room. We had issues with the wifi and couldn’t access it, a known issue.
