Very noisy. Especially in the morning from 8 am from other guests that opened their room and let their young children play out of their room and drive all the neighbour rooms insane. The hotel is a bit dated.

I had a truly exceptional experience! The hotel’s rooftop is undoubtedly a highlight, offering stunning, unobstructed views of the Acropolis. Having breakfast on the rooftop while overlooking this iconic landmark is an unforgettable way to start the day. The rooftop also transforms into a magical dining spot in the evening, with the Acropolis beautifully illuminated. The location of the hotel is fantastic—situated right in the heart of Athens, it’s within walking distance of all the major attractions, shops, and restaurants. Whether you want to explore Plaka, visit the Acropolis Museum, or shop in Monastiraki, everything is conveniently close by. The hotel also features both indoor and outdoor pools, giving guests plenty of options to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. Another standout feature was the incredible service!! Every staff member was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable—every area, from the lobby to the rooms, was spotless and well-maintained.

A lovely hotel. Traditionally elegant decor and furniture. Excrptional lication for their rooftop restaurant where a very good breakfast is served . The views if the Acropolis are just as shown on their website from the rooftop. Lovely swimming pool also with great views..Room spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed. Staff very obliging and housekeeping staff thorough.. Excellent air conditioning and room very quiet apart from odd street noise - we were at the front of the hotel. Short walks to a great selection restaurants and cafes. Tourist shopping and high street/ high-end shops only a few minutes away. 10 minute walk to hop on hop off and public transport options.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the city and close to everything—historic landmarks, restaurants, and public transport are all just a short walk away. The staff were exceptional—very friendly, cooperative, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their dedication truly made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The only downside was that the walls seemed quite thin, and you could hear what was going on in the neighboring rooms. This did affect the overall comfort at times, but otherwise, everything else was great.

My mum and I had the most wonderful stay at Electra Palace Athens! From the moment we arrived, we felt like princesses thanks to the incredibly warm and smiley customer service. The staff were always there to check on us, making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself was spotless, very comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant—absolutely unforgettable! Even though the swimming pool was under renovation, we had access to the pool at the sister hotel, Electra Metropolis, just a short 2-minute walk away, which was a perfect alternative. Overall, we are beyond happy with our stay and will cherish these memories for a long time. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so special!

The Electra Palace is the perfect location in Athens a short walk to the cafes and shops and Acropolis. We really enjoyed the stunning views from the 8th floor bar and restaurant.

Unfortunately it rained in Athens when we were there and this meant that the outside area of the restaurant could not be used and everyone had breakfast indoors. The queue for breakfast was enormous and we were asked therefore to sit at a table with another family. They were a delightful family, but I can help feel for the staff who did a great job of clearing tables quickly and efficiently to get through the queue. This should not be happening in my opinion and management are accountable and should take more initiative on these days … we all have access to accurate weather forecasts. There were areas I noticed in the hotel that could accommodate a ‘rainy day’ breakfasts maybe. Felt sorry for the staff more than anything.

The strongest point of this hotel is definitely its panoramic restaurant terrace with a view on Acropolis and the whole of Athens. Each morning at the breakfast you can enjoy this wonderful view from both inside and outside tables. The location of the hotel is also great in proximity to most of the tourist spots. The staff is polite and professional, room service is very reactive. The hotel is up to it’s 5 stars standard and I definitely recommend it!

First negative point: we were informed about the renovation works in the spa area only 3 days before arrival and we definitely wanted to use the inner swimming pool, as it is cold outside. However, they offered us to use the spa area in their sister hotel Electra Metropolis and it was very nice. The only problem was walking for the two minutes in 3 degrees Celsius (temperature in February when we were there) back to our hotel after the spa visit. Another small negative point (independent from the hotel) is the absence of any grocery shops next to the hotel. It is a 6 or 7 mins walking distance to the nearest shop

I recently stayed at Hotel Electra Athens and had an incredible experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Their warm and welcoming attitude truly stood out. The location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Athens, with easy access to major attractions, shops, and restaurants. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city. The cuisine was another highlight of my stay. The hotel offers a variety of delicious dishes, blending local Greek flavors with international options. Every meal was a delight, and the rooftop restaurant provided stunning views to complement the dining experience. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was elegant yet cozy, making it an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers. Whether relaxing in the beautifully designed common areas or enjoying the comfort of the rooms, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. I highly recommend Hotel Electra Athens to anyone visiting the city. It offers a perfect combination of friendly service, prime location, excellent food, and a welcoming ambiance.

Amazing staff who were all very helpful and friendly. They arranged airport transfers, a trip to the Islands and gave recommendations of restaurants before we arrived also. Brilliant location - simply couldn't have been better and having explored the city for a full week I remain convinced it is the very best location for Athens. Breakfast was superb also and the one evening meal we had in the hotel was exceptional (if a little pricey).

Being very critical - the room was a little dated & unlike the pictures we saw. The pool was a nice bonus although quite busy most of the time making it difficult to relax or swim at all.

Professional, friendly, and very responsive. I’d call them at 2 am asking for a lower pillow and it would be by my door in seconds. The receptionists were all so kind and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was amazing with freshly squeezed orange juice and a great variety of local specialties. We sat outside where we could see the acropolis and took many pictures. I have found my favorite hotel in Athens and I will be booking it again if I ever visit Athens again. The indoor pool was amazing for the kids. Warm and big. It had TV channels from all over the world. It was impressive frankly. The location was in the heart of Plaka. We just walked around everywhere from our hotel. Very convenient.

The pool water was salty! It was not a pleasant thing frankly. Some of the TV channels were blurry.
