Right on the lake. We were only there 2 nights but it was a beautiful spot. Hotel rooms were a bit sparse but nice. We did not pay extra for a view, but you can walk by the lake anytime and it was lovely. Pool was good amenity. Beds were good but could have been a bit more plush (they are very firm mattresses). Staff was very nice. Loved the firepit! The town was great! Small, easy access to everything and parking not a problem. Had some great meals and only takes 35 minutes to drive to the opposite end of the lake.

The coffee? It ended at 9am in the lobby and was not great. Extending to 10am recommended? More options would be nice within the hotel.

I did not eat on the premises, we ate at a coffee shop on the main business street in Canandaigua. We had coffee and fruited yogurt, both very good.

We were told on arrival that we'd have a wait of 1/2 to 1 hour to get in our room. I told the receptionists that I was going to give a review (which I do now and then) for Trip Advisor, and that I would note the wait. I got room keys within 2 minutes. My total wait was around 10 minutes, not an hour. I did send off a good review of the hotel to Trip Advisor, but it was not published, for some reason. Everything is very clean and new, and the location on the lake is outstanding! In our room, only one comment-the soaps were almost empty in the bathroom, and the dispensers were falling off of the tub wall.

The staff is friendly and tries to accomodate, and the room is comfortable

the room was not as clean as expected from a new hotel, and trying to book the hotel's restaurant was impossible. I was expecting to have some tables reserved for overnight guests. The reception staff is not aligned with benefits and payments between the shifts and our account had to be adjusted even though we went through everything during check-in.

Location was great, grounds were pretty

The restaurant food was horrible & over priced.. soup was cold & for $14.00 there was about 3 tablespoons full. Breakfast was terrible, I asked for over medium eggs & got over easy & runny. I told the waitress a young girl & she could care less.. front desk young man was not friendly at all.. very standoff attitude!

Big corner room, with balcony, Beautiful view of lake and park. Walking distance to park and at least 1 restaurant. Nice folks in hotel & restaurant. Breakfast $10, made for you not buffet. Dining room had full view of the lake. Off season rate was excellent.

We had a lovely room with a partial view of the lake. The hotel was situated within walking distance of several restaurants. The path along the lake was our late afternoon walking route. The view of the lake and the evening sunsets was stunning.

Everything was fine!

Would have liked a danish or muffin for a lighter breakfast & quicker turnaround to eat. Front desk people were most helpful too. Bar/restaurant & lobby areas were beautiful & view spectacular.

Kitchen getting food out. I waited 35 minutes for a yogurt parfait.

The location and the hotel itself were beautiful. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food and wine were excellent.

The air conditioner in the room was very loud, such that you couldn't have it on while trying to sleep.

Great location. Property was gorgeous and well maintained.

The only issue was that the AC in our room didn't seem to be working properly. It was either freezing or too warm especially at night when we hadn't adjusted the temperature setting.

Breakfast was quite good and we liked the idea of long period of brunch until 2 pm. .

Rooms could have better robes to attend pool/hot tub. Welcome could have been a bit warmer. Nothing particularly negative, but it felt lukewarm.
