The room we upgraded to a junior suite this was perfect. The included buffet breakfast was great and even after 9 days was always delicious and the variety was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive to all our needs. We especially loved the service from Hoang Thuy guest relations. She was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was great and cool.

There is a beach club across the street that plays full blast awful karaoke from. 17:30-22:00. So bad and loud you can’t sit on the balcony, even on the 25 the floor. I’m no soprano, but this sounds like a lunatic asylum. Easy fix would be for the hotel to book the function suite for a few $$$ each weekend and then cut the sound off. Pool area also small for the hotel size.

Very comfortable big rooms. Well maintained and clean. Free bottled water supplied daily.

Across from the hotel there is a venue, and some evenings the music was so loud. The speakers were too powerful for the small venue. But NOT the hotel’s fault.

location is good, just walk across the road to the beach, walk to small supermarkets within 5 mins. I was told it is a relatively quieter side of the beach which I like. The room is nice with balcony and can hv a great view of the beach with no blockage. I read from other reviews that it may be noise during night time, the truth is sometimes there is music at the beach and it will only last till 10pm at night. The hotel has no control of it cos the music is from the resturant at the beach, yet the hotel keeps monitor the noise and report to police if it is over time. I stayed there for two nights and one night there is music, however, it stopped before 10pm. Meanwhile, if you close the balcony, there will hv no sound. Staffs at the hotel or at the resturant are supper nice and they are very curious of how is our stay, cos they want to improve their service, can feel every staffs give their heart for their hotel to serve us better. Definitely i will go back to the same hotel next time.

Great breakfast with lots of choices, great staff, quick check in and check out, loved the rain shower and the very comfortable bed, good options on the TV, the location is amazing and the cake on the icing is definitely the balcony with the view (and sound!) of the sea.

Blasting noise and flashing lights from the adjacent karaoke bar... the deafening noise levels were just beyond tolerable... it sounded as if they were singing in my own hotel room. I've lived in Vietnam for a while and I know karaoke is like a national sport - but the sound levels that I experienced during my stay, in particular one night, made me reconsider the amount of money I had spent on my room. Honestly, the sheer volume was disrespectful to the many guests of this beautiful hotel. Don't count on taking naps or going to bed early or enjoying the beautiful peace of the balcony during concert hours.

We loved our stay at Sel de Mer. The rooms were very modern and spacious, all of the staff were incredibly helpful, and the facilities of the hotel were great. We made good use of the pool and spa which was lovely! The hotel is situated slightly out of the hustle and bustle but still close to food options. It also has a lovely rooftop bar where you can see the lights of Da Nang at night. Would highly recommend this hotel!!

Everything. The staff are so accommodating you get made to feel like royalty nothing is too much for them. The rooms are so so clean the pool is incredible and the sauna and steam room too. The roof top bar is beautiful and had live music on one of the nights. Location is right next to the beach. They gave us a free room upgrade for the whole of our stay because there was a noise issue the first night which wasn't even their fault...it was from karaoke which is actually quite far away and a resident who can't be told to be quiet until 10pm. I am a very light and early sleeper so I struggled with this but in the new room it was peaceful and quiet. The staff immediately changed our rooms and upgraded us to a suite. The suite was exceptional. Huge and I highly recommend the upgrade if on the fence even though our first room was beautiful. The buffet breakfast is amazing too a great selection of healthy food that's cooked for you. I had a fresh omelette with salad and a yoghurt with fruit every day my partner went for traditional Vietnamese brekkie which he loved - they even have fresh sourdough and rye bread. I love this hotel it's been my favourite in Vietnam.

I think the breakfasts could go on till later. I don't usually eat until 11am so perhaps until 12. Especially on the weekends.

We had an incredible stay at Sel de Mer! I was previously staying at another property in Da Nang that did not meet our standards. We booked our room late at night to check in the following day. We left our previous property as soon as possible and checked in to Sel de Mer. The front desk staff let us check in our bags and go to the pool. We were able to get into our rooms early, and they left us a nice arrangement in our room for our honeymoon. The AC was AWESOME. It worked exceptionally well, which is needed in Da Nang. The beds were so incredibly comfortable. The showers worked great, and the soaps smelled really good. We got a city view room, which was amazing to look out at everyday. The breakfast buffet is excellent. There are great options, and it was very tidy, well-stocked, and organized. The pool and gym are gorgeous and overlook the water. The gym also had a great variety of equipment.

I will say that the location is a bit far from some local bars and restaurants. But that makes the property feel a bit more quiet and private. Getting a Grab is easy, so this was no no problem for us.

We liked everything: location, rooms, restaurants, pool, fitness etc. Hotel located just in few metres from one the the best beaches. There are many seafood restaurants and small markets nearby. The whole staff starting from managers to cleaners and waiters was very helpful. During check- in welcome drink and plate with fresh fruits were provided. Everyday room was cleaned, sometimes even twice a day:) Breakfast boxes were ready at early check-out even without our request. Breakfast selection and quality was very good. Restaurant food was also delicious and at affordable price.

The breakfast was great, something to suit everyone, and the ocean views from the room were amazing, the staff were so friendly and helpful too, and our room was spotless.
