Great location with free parking. Only a few blocks to Main Street Bar Harbor and several more blocks to the waterfront. Great value for the location. It’s a basic motel property, although clean and it felt very safe.

Our room was on the first floor, so we could hear other guests walking and talking in front of our room. We could also hear the cars starting and driving around the lot. The walls are very thin so if you’re a light sleeper, you will hear your neighbors on both sides as well as the guests staying directly above your room. Next time, I would prefer a room on the second floor. And yes, I would definitely stay at the property again due to the great location and price.

The location is great. It's only a few blocks from the main drag and waterfront. It's also only a few blocks from the grocery store and the other main drag away from the waterfront. The women at the front desk during the day are absolutely wonderful. The one that I worked with most (Susie, I think - sorry I lost your card!) was incredibly helpful. Upon arrival she pulled out one of the free maps and marked it up with recommendations. Finally, our room was much nicer than what you might expect from a "motel." It was very clean and the bathroom was well updated. I definitely recommend.

There really wasn't anything that stood out.

The location was great as it was within easy walking distance to everything going on at Bar Harbor. The room with the king bed that we got was great as it was spacious, very clean, and all the furniture seemed brand new, even though that part of the motel has been open for about 4 years. Suzy, at the receptionist desk, was phenomenal as she was super friendly and helpful. She made us feel right at home and made our stay very comfortable. Probably the most friendly receptionist that I have ever encountered at any motel or a hotel.

The property itself was great although the price was a little steep.

Staff was very friendly and helpful allowing us to leave out luggage in a back room until the room was ready since we arrived early. Check in was very easy and fast. We were also able to leave our luggage in the back room when we left since we were leaving for home after the checkout time of 11am. The room was very clean and toiletries were supplied as well as a hair dryer. Beds are very comfortable as agreed by the couple traveling with us and staying in another room. This hotel is a short 5 min walk to the center of town. Very good location.

It was a holiday weekend (July 4th) so the pricing was high ($455/night) and certainly higher than a motel room should be but I reserved late and the location was good.

Staff was great and super friendly, room service was amazing and very detailed. Location is super convenient, right in the center of Bar Harbor, lots of dining options. I'd recommend the Thirsty Whale, the Blaze, and Geddy's.

All hotels are a little noisy, but I could definitely hear the neighbors TV, or when people walked in front of the room on the 2nd floor walk around. The neighbors quieted down at a good time, but noticed it more in the mornings, since I'm a night owl.

Excellent value and location! The staff, especially Susie & Danette were friendly. There was always coffee in the office and free candy.

Our room was beautiful (recently remodeled), however, we were disappointed that there was not a small table in the room, which would have been useful as we stayed five nights and we brought with us food such as cereal and sandwiches. Also, there was not a microwave.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Lots of free parking available on-site. Excellent location just a short 5-minute walk to town so you don't have to drive and search for parking in town. Beautiful, quiet location; friendly, helpful staff; comfortable, clean rooms; smart TV so you can stream your favorite shows after a day of activities. Short drive to Acadia National Park. We loved Bar Harbor and will be back - and we'll be staying at the Anchorage Motel.

We loved our stay and didn't have any complaints.

We loved our superior king room! It was very clean with good facilities! The bathroom was clean, big and modern, with a good shower. There was plenty of room to hang your clothes and store your bags and 2 comfortable arm chairs. The best thing about the room was undoubtedly the bed! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept it and made it difficult to get up and out in the morning! The location of the motel is the next best thing! It was perfect! A 2 minute walk into the centre of Bar Harbour where you have loads of restaurants, bars and shops to explore! Parking in Bar Harbour is pretty tough and busy, so being able to leave your car at the motel and then be a short walk into Bar Harbour is perfect! We also had some fantastic food in Bar Harbour (Project Social, Merchant and Frye, Mckays, Salsa Verde) and Bar Harbour is a fantastic spot to explore Acadia from!

The only issue was the noise from the air conditioning unit and fridge. If you are a light sleeper this may cause you some issues. However we just unplugged the fridge over night (and it was still cold enough in the morning!).

Location was an easy walk to downtown. It was super clean. The bed was comfy; I slept well. Liked the chairs on the lawn to drink my morning coffee and enjoy the blueberry muffin, both of which were very good.

The TV was very slow. That didn’t bother me because I didn’t watch much, but when I did, it was frequently “buffering” and when the station came on, it would freeze for a few seconds… or more. Not a big deal for me. And you could tell there were shortcuts in the trim, e.g. the molding in the bathroom- corners didn’t touch. But it was very clean so that didn’t matter.

We had no idea where we would be relative to the main part of Bar Harbor but we couldn't have chosen a better location. We were in walking distance to restaurants and shops and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Susie at the front desk was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. When we checked in and requested ground floor rooms if possible, she went right to work trying to accommodate our wishes.

Rooms were a little pricey but understandable since it was summer season in a busy tourist area.
