situated on the side of the lake . we had the top floor suite , and it was brilliant . the views were amazing . the bar restaurant seating area is great . and it’s not that expensive either . breakfast is usual continental style . but a good selection . we eat twice in the restaurant and both times the food was very good

Shared balcony with all the other rooms. Cleaners didn't use warning signs or verbally warn us that they had just mopped the stairs and floors, which was very dangerous and slippery. Breakfast was not good value for money. Very limited choice of what to eat.

The view is worth every penny and I would say the price is anyways very affordable. The food at the Ristorante is exquisite (especially the pizze, since they are a pizzeria in the first place), the lunch menu is extremely recommendable, as it provides you with so many delicious dishes included in the already very low price. The closest supermarket is in Lavena Ponte Tresa and can be reached either by bus (there is a bus stop exactly in front of the hotel) or just by foot, since it's just about 2.5 km which can be walked in 30'. It's super close to Switzerland, there's even Swiss network still available...

When going back to Ponte Tresa (carrying luggage) we wanted to take an Uber but we couldn't get any, so we asked for them to call us a taxi or just the number of a taxi service. We didn't get any details of a specific taxi company, we got the phone number of a guy who apparently offered his unofficial services for transit by car. He was very kind and reliable, he brought us to our destination so no critique in this regard, but it would surely be of help to keep his number at the reception so as to inform the guests of this possibility (if not to also get the details of some taxi companies). As I said however, this is not a critique, it's just a suggestion. We had nothing to complain about :)

Nice view, big room and good restaurant. Very kind staff, the lady at the reception helped us to pay the motorway fee online.

Maintenance could be done more regularly. This hotel is next to a scenic route, where loads of loud motorcycles are passing, this can disturb your experience.

The size and the view from the room were spectacular. The food in the restaurant was very good. The proximity to Switzerland and all the main sightseeing around.

The bathroom is very outdated. Same breakfast for the 3 days we've been there and without vegetables...

Great restaurant and friendly people at the reception

There was water leaking out of the ac, this has been happining for a while looking at the stains on the floor. When i said this to the receptionist she told the cleaning staff who replied yes we know. The was also fungun on the froof above the shower

The staff were incredibly helpful!!! the restaurant food is absolutely exceptional and the breakfast was everything I could want and more. the lake view from our bed was the most memorable wake up. would recommend this 100x over

It was a lovely, scenic and historic premise, the breakfast was lovely. Staff was polite and helpful, our room was facing the lake so it was very beautiful. Only hoping that it have an iron for me to iron my clothes

The staff was very friendly, we came with the dog and they were friendly with him. We got a nice room and the location was perfect for what we wanted to see. Additionally, the pizzeria was very good, we ordered 2 pizzas to our room (no additional charges). I will recommend this place 100%

Great value for money! The staff were very helpful and even upgraded for free our room to include a view of the lake. The hotel is in fact a hotel restaurant and you must try it cause it is very good. The breakfast was also good enough for a small extra fee. I totally recommend it for one or more nights stay.
