Friendly staff at check in, easy directions to the room. Plenty of parking with room to get out of the car and manoeuvre. Room was big enough for three adult without being on top of each other or too large, good bathroom facilities and comfy beds. A few minor issues noted in our stay were happily accepted and the staff were going to check them out. 15 miute walk to main street meant we could leave the car at the accommodation and enjoy the night.

A little bit of road noise from the local speed demons - didn't bother us but may be considered if you are a light sleeper.

Requested and was allocated a quite room - 109. Clean Comfortable Convenient - Peel Street a pleasant walk away Some minors in the bathroom:- - toilet seat needs to be re-affixed - cistern runs - sink tap loose and maybe leaking - regulating temperature in the shower is challenging The restaurant was closed. And in the dark be careful as no transition between the carpet & tile floor .... ouch.

No ceiling fan !

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff in the office were so lovely, it would encourage me to return. I left some items there and I have been told they will forward them on, no problem. Tamworth is a lovely place to visit, and I am sure we will return. Also, we were close to the Gipps St sporting fields. We were in Tamworth for a PSSA Soccer championship, and we could easily walk to the fields.

Nothing, it was all we needed and more.

Ashby House is a beautiful building with lovely wrought iron detail on the balconies, and well appointed rooms. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a large upstairs family room, so as a couple, we had plenty of room to spread out and relax in. Having afternoon drinks on the balcony outside our room was very pleasant. The pool area located at the back offered a quiet and relaxing spot to unwind and take a dip. Our room had two TVs, full kitchen facilities and a dining table which would be perfect for a family. The bed was also very comfy.

There was a bit of road noise which is to be expected in this location, but it wasn't intrusive and it didn't interrupt our sleep. There was an issue with the aerial connection on the TV in the loungeroom, which required a bit of wiggling to stop pixelation, but it eventually settled down.

well situated from the fields where the soccer was being played and close to shopping.

I was surprised to find no cutlery, crockery or microwave was provided in the room. I always carry my own breakfast , eating out for lunch and dinner. Staff were responsive to my requests and provided what I needed but I would have been most unhappy if I had not had access to what I needed.

On arrival we were greeted so warmly. The check in was smooth and the facilities were well maintained. You could see the rooms had undergone an upgrade. Updated bathrooms and decor. Excellent location, not directly in the cbd but only a short walk to West Tamworth shopping centre or over the bridge to the cbd if you needed anything.

We found the toilet cistern kept running, only minor but a little annoying.

Location, great bed, good shower

Leaky toilet, noisy bathroom exhaust fan, faulty alarm clock. All faults were reported to management and accepted with grace. Price gouging is rife during the country music festival and accommodation is one of the worst offenders charging 200%-300% higher than usual prices.

We were upgraded to an apartment upon arrival, and entered to find spacious and clean rooms. Good sized kitchen, comfortable bedroom, large living space where the twin singles were set up for 2 of the kids. Very comfortable stay for us. Good off-street parking.

The drainage in the shower was a bit slow but that is the only minor thing.

Almost everything was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were adequate, the location was great and property was wonderful.

The lever to control the shower temperature and water pressure was too easily bumped into, turning our shower into either a boiling hot or freezing cold glass torture box. The pool was filthy, it needs to be cleaned more often, it was filled with dead insects and other miscellaneous flotsam. The restaurant on the hotel grounds was incredibly overpriced and quite frankly the menu was small and unappetising.

This was an excellent choice for us a short walk to the CBD not too noisy being on a main road, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing to complain about, if i could next time I'd like to stay in a upstairs room with a balcony facing the main road, It was such a lovely property and beautiful gardens.
