Staff were lovely and the restaurant was great! The buffet breakfast was spectacular and the dinner was delicious- and very fairly priced! The room was quaint and had great facilities. We loved that there was a heater, fan, tea and coffee etc.

The bed was quite hard and there wasn’t an elevator - which with two large bags was a bit of a pain on the curved stairs. Thank god we weren’t on the second floor. The shower situation was also a bit difficult as it often sprays around the room due to the tub/glass configuration.

The general manager was a gentleman, very helpful, and chatted to us for ages, answered the many questions we had, and gave great recommendations. He was a very kind man, as was his bartender, who was clocking off after he recommended a fabulous whiskey and japanese vodka! Breakfast and rooms were fabulous

We had the option to have dinner in the bar next door or the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, we made the wrong decision and went to the bar. The food was very poor.

Prices per room. Rooms were comfortable. But for what we paid facilities were lacking. No fridge in room. Tea/coffee supplies inadequate. Apart from restaurants no other facilities eg pool, gym etc. For half what we paid I can get all of the above and more in city centre hotels. Skye generally is becoming not so good value for money. And wifi didn't work!!!

Gorgeous boutique hotel, we stayed in Room 10 on the top floor, stairs all the way. Stay on lower floor if you have mobility issues. We travelled with friends (8 of us from Australia) for 4 nights. There was a blackout on our first night and the staff went out of their way to feed 25 in house guests in 30 minutes! Great view from the restaurant and there is a bar at the side and free parking out the front.,

We arrived at the Hotel after attending a Wedding on Skye and at Reception were met by a friendly face who took us to our rooms. The Hotel room was very clean with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Downstairs was a large bar with TV, a menu for various pub grub meals to be eaten in a warm and inviting setting. All staff were helpful and friendly, we couldn't have asked for more!

We were only staying one night and cannot find any dislikes.

The manager, staff and everyone involved in the business were the most respectful and helpful people I have ever met. From the beginning of our stay, the manager was very polite and made us feel very welcome after a long drive from Glasgow. The staff during breakfast were very welcoming and helped cater to our needs. They would regularly come over and have a chat with us and give us advice on where to visit. Me and my wife felt very comfortable and were treated with so much love and respect

The only downside is the restaurant dinner prices is rather expensive

A beautiful location by the sea and very well furnished and decorated in a traditional Highland style. We had a very good dinner with local produce. The staff were very helpful.

Due to the age of the building, there is no lift, but our cases were carried to our room by the staff. Our bedroom was very hot, even though the heating was off. This seemed to be heat radiating from the stone walls. The hotel was quite expensive, reflecting prices on Skye.

The hotel was situated in a great location for all amenities and walking distance to spot otteres however unfortunately we didn't get to see any.

I left my vape in my room and went back for it but they didn't find it also the room upstairs was very loud and disturbed us through the night other than that it was amazing and I'd stay again

Great place to stay for a home base while visiting Isle Of Skye. Food and groceries within walking distance. Literally across the street from Broadford Bay with great views. Rooms were what you will expect for being in Isle of Skye, not luxury but very comfortable and clean. staff is very friendly and they have a restaurant on site, which we did not eat at.

no elevator and 3 levels, so you might have to walk up a ways. Windows don’t really open. It was in the 60s outside but room was a bit warm. dDidn’t appear to have a/c, but table fan was provided.

Perfect place to be situated to travel and explore the Isle of Skye. For us it struck the perfect balance of a town that provided great facilities such as restaurants, shops, Petrol Garage, etc, but was also small enough to fit in with the environment and settings of the Isle of Skye. I LOVED the hotel, the room and the bathroom. Supremely comfortable and large bed, super friendly and helpful staff. Also a great restaurant within the Hotel if you needed it.
