Location is the best ( close to river and central to every thing).

I liked everything about the hotel ( staff at restaurant , staff at reception, staff at room cleaning…ALL and every thing), but there is an incident though will not affect my overall experience but worth mentioning. Second day of my stay I was waiting to be seated at breakfast, but the person in charge on that day ( tall male in black suit ) kept talking on the phone for a long time ignoring that I was waiting, he was speaking loudly and I waited until another employee came from inside the restaurant because he could see me and took me to table. I found that un polite and very rude.

Location

At the breakfast time, I ordered omelette but the kitchen delayed my order for almost an hour and I had to leave because my tour will start soon. The next following morning the same delay took place again which made me upset and I left to eat somewhere else. I stayed in five star hotel, five star service should be given. Regardless of the reason of delaying the order by the kitchen, and I don’t care of the reason because I already paid money to stay in the hotel which makes me no difference than any others.

The location is great 😊 right in the middle of old town facing water. Service was excellent. Unfortunately, it rain every day, so o could not use roof top but on the 1 floor restaurant I had drinks and they were good.Also had the best chocolate cake and I don’t usually order chocolate cakes because I feel they usually are too heavy and too sweet but not this one. It was excellent.

The size of the room was pretty small, the ceiling was low I felt like I was in the attic. The bed was not comfortable. I think it was 2 beds pushed together and was very difficult to sleep because it was definitely uneven.

The breakfast was very good, especially when seated outside on the terrace.

The layout & size if room. The bathroom was exceptionally small. No space & not suitable for a tall person, would have been better as a shower only rather than with bath. The room didn't have enough mirrors - also had odd sofa in conor.a table and chairs would have been better.

Very centrally located in a beautiful historic building but with modern and luxurious rooms. Service was superb and breakfast at the hotel was excellent.

Generally had no complaints about the property. Only issue during our stay was that the plaza that the hotel is facing was under construction.

The location is perfect, being in Zurich it can not get much better. At the river in the middle of the historic center, with many high-end shops, great restaurants and beautiful (historic) buildings and squares. Great infrastructure with convenient walking facilities. The hotel is not too big and really high-end.

Facilities (bar and restaurant) very busy with (too?) many non-guests. Had a hard time finding some space. Sensitive about available pillows for a good night rest, not much choice if you prefer anything else than the 'fluffy' ones...

The location of the Hotel is excellent. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and the Rotisserie evening meal was delicious.

Unfortunately, the smoking lounge is not well protected and the smell goes up in the rooms :( They have not put a door to separate the hotel floor and the cigar lounge... very disappointed by this lack of observation by the Management.

Location was perfect and the view from our room, directly overlooking the river, was beautiful

I completely recognise that Switzerland is not a low cost holiday destination but the per night cost of the room was excessive given the size of the room which, to be honest, at over £1,000 a night I would have expected rather more

The boat service to the other hotels and restaurants in the family. E tried multiple of the restaurants and took the boat to Herrliberg where they had a car waiting to take us to one of their restaurants on the hill overlooking the lake and mountains. It was amazing!

Everything was beautiful here!! It is located right on the river and the area is spectacular. The rooms are clean. We had a family room but the door was not opened to connect the rooms. there was a staff member outside who very kindly unlocked the doors and then gave us extra chocolates. Very excellent service. the breakfast that was included was outstanding as well.
